The oldest cache we saw was from 1915. Always interesting looking at the grace sites.
Wet shoes in one cache [sigh].. It had rained all morning which the wheat farmers must be loving... geocachers on the other hand, not so much. The cache was found quickly once we got to the right side of the fence. TFTC WanderingAus.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 28 - Kulin to Bruce Rock via Kondinin and Narembeen. It seemed like a short day, but some things never go to plan. It all started out with the series not far from Kulin at the Gnarma Schools site and surrounding reserve area. Some of those caches were very difficult to locate. Next was on to Kondinin for a morning snack and two detours for the two caches I was able to target in the county. Narembeen was next, but after a long and difficult visit to the cemetery. Again, this county has hardly any caches along the roads I chose to travel, so every one counted. The last leg into Bruce Rock was smooth and I spent some of the afternoon doing a lap of town and the surrounds for the nearby caches. Dinner in the van tonight. This small cemetery was very neat and I was happy to get to the cache here without any problems. Thanks for the cache WanderingAus46996.20 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2009 Gold Eagle proof A#148**Albida**
Another of this great series knocked off. Cache in good condition. All quiet here today tftc
NEF here on my arvo walk. Being guarded by a most lovely camouflaged gecko. TFTC WanderingAus
A cemetery find is always on our list. This one was immaculate. Thanks for bringing us here
We have been on the road for a few days travelling south from Geraldton zig zagging our way across the state picking up caches in as many LGA's that we hadn't previously visited as we could. Also on the radar were Adventure Labs and anything else that came across our radar.
We decided that we would attack this adventure lab at night time where we hoped there would be less muggles around and sure enough this worked very well and we had a great drive/walk around this very impressive establishment picking up information along the way.

Once we had finished the lab we had a set of co-ords for gz and when we arrived the area was deserted and searching was easy . We searched the wrong area for a little while waiting for the GPSr to settle . Once it did we found the cache immediately in a logical location and added our name to the log.
Many thanks for the cache

Cool find. And got some more wildflower photos for my collection. Would never have seen them otherwise. TFTC
After spending 2 nights at my sons we headed off again with the dogs, cat and caravan final destination tonight unknown free camping along the road somewhere of course gathering a few smiles along the way. Thanks to the CO’s for placing and maintaining caches.

On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. We are enjoying the many friendly towns along the way, wether staying in the CP’s or camping out. So far, we have found every cache that we have looked for, and hopefully our streak will last as we move around to the next town and beyond. Thank you so much to the CO’s of every cache for placing them for our enjoyment. They certainly bring you to many spots that you might not stop at otherwise.
After a great weekend in Kulin for IGD21 it's time to make the trek back to Perth. We took the scenic route via Narembeen, Bruce Rock and Quairading and picked up a variety of cache. We finished the night with pizza in Kenwick. Thanks to everyone who made this weekend so much fun!
Quick find with L1.77 and 777Tiger on the scenic way back to Perth. Thanks for the hide.
Out and about for day 3 of the Kulin event weekend, before heading back to Perth. Thank you to all the COs for their efforts!
Made this our first stop in Bruce Rock, after the drive over from Narembeen. All was well here. Added our names to the log. Cheers WanderingAus!

I do love the LKA caches. Passing through on the way from wave rock to quairading TFTC
A really great one for the kids; bring your stash and don’t forget those that reside here
Love an old cemetery. Interesting to see the dolphin lady - I recognise the style from the house in town. TFTC!
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, replaced the missing pen, and pencil, and added some swaps.
Found it. TFTC WanderingAus. Another LKA completed. Just passing on a road trip and couldn’t resist the challenge.
Was a quick find, have become pretty good at finding these camo containers since starting to play only 2 months ago
We searched for ages because gps signal was off definitely a little awkward looking suspicious in a cemetery
Out for a wheatbelt road trip after the COVID travel restrictions have been lifted. With WAGB20 being cancelled in the pandemic, an invite to join others to celebrate the long weekend was perfect.
First night was camping at Elachbutting Rock with Barnsy12 and Cravo10 where we hit some great finds, beautiful locations and had fun on the dirt tracks weaving our way whilst caching out to Kwolyin Rock for the second night where we met up with a nice crew of fellow geocachers to enjoy sitting around a large campfire sharing stories. I have lost count of the rocks Ive climbed - but my body says many
I then head off on my own caching along the way to Northam where I spent a couple more days hunting through beautiful Toodyay and York and surrounds.
A huge thank you to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. The places I have seen and the fun I have had are testament to why I love this game so much. Its been a big 5 days and I am pooped but I have loved every minute!

Lovely to see a well maintained area. They even care about the wildlife here. Swapped a soldier for a mini torch that works!
We have travelled from A (our home in SW of WA) to B via the Savannah Way with a two week unexpected detainment in Mackay which has set us back, now sadly travelling back to A via the Outback Way from Winton through to Laverton thought we'd do it before it's completely sealed
After spending the night at the fantastic Westonia caravan park we were again on the road with me trying ever so much to delay getting home
I've been told to cut my list and not many finds today otherwise we'll never get closer to home
A nice quick find. I was hoping while I was finding the cache Mr dimor would go find my relatives buried here but sadly he didn't

Found this cache along with goingplaces2 as we have been caching through the WA wheat belt. TFTC
A caching day with ilook4geo is always good fun and today was no exception. We found a variety of cache types and signed all logs where appropriate. Some were easier to find than others but we were very happy that all gave us a smiley on our caching map.
Took a wander, made the find and headed off to the next address. Thanks go to WanderingAus for placing this simple hide.

A small degree of difficulty with a little bit of Bush walking with the flies with the kids.
Bagged this one and another close by whilst the rest of the caravan park was still in bed ! They really should get out more ....... could not find the Lion's Project cache though
Enjoy visiting the dead centres of a lot of the small towns we travel through! A nice interesting wander around here. TFTC
Day 12 of our Adventure to the northern Goldfields and now in the Wheatbelt. Today we are moving the big distance from Mukinbudin to Bruce Rock, to explore areas south of the Great Eastern Highway.
Made a stop here, walked through the cemetery reflecting on mortality, and made a quick find of the cache. Replaced as found. TFTC.

Well it’s now day 12 of our Northern adventure , now more Eastern adventure as we head south of the Great Eastern Hwy with m4yb, Jonathan the camper trailer and Max the GeoUte. On our way to Bruce Rock for a couple of days.
On our way to the caravan park we stopped here for a look and surprised how much larger this cemetery is south of the GEH.
Nice easy find number noted.
Thanks for the smiley WanderingAus.

Day 2 with axell33 on our wheatbelt run. Beautiful paddocks of gold, ready for harvest. So many great caches taking us to amazing places. Thank you for this cache.
After starting at Kellerberrin we headed to Bruce Rock via Baandee lakes. Still not even 6am we were hoping to clear out Bruce Rock before the muggles are out and about. So we started our Bruce Rock sweep with this one. Nice quick find and on to the next one. TFTC WanderingAus.
Needing to get out of the house for a bit, I took my geo baby and muggle-born (and possibly squib) hubby for a drive. We "just happened" to find caches on the way
Nice easy one at the end of a long day driving and caching along the way. TFTH
Thank you! My dad and I headed off on another Wheatbelt road trip. Today's destination was Bruce Rock. Since we were here, we decided to grab all the nearby caches. This one was found in good condition.
