has been muggled again and the council is now allowing campers to stay on the site so I have little option but to put this on out to pasture.
First tried from the other side of the river then drove around rather than swimming. But the bongs has hanging in trees and rubish and urine smell put me off searching too hard.
Found during a fishing trip to the river and we slipped some canoeing in as well. We were relieved to find the cache where it was and not inside the hole, the stench of urine was a bit strong. This is a really pretty place to visit and to camp, my kids have asked to come back here with tents and wood for the fire. Thanks for placing this tiny cache in a lovely riverside place.
Can remember when the old hut was there ,just up the road was our old swimming hole at that time was known as Brandy Mary Flats that is almost under the spillway at the dam some of my family worked on the dam and with so many different cultures, around the evening meal time i can still smell the aromas of different foods that came out of the small comunities around the dam.TFTC
This is our last day in Tumut so have decided to explore the Blowering Dam region.
Geo Hubby said the river reminded him of the Waikato River in NZ.
A big tree for such a small cache, well hidden. A favourite point given.

Found on a great day trip with Fred6603, lgoody & BoyRacer to Tumut and Gundagai.
This was find no 35 of a total of 54 today.
Another nice quick cache find and a few fisherman nearby were unaware of our find.
Checked out the flowing river and then we were on the way again.
TFTC The Emongs,
Roostaman.

cache replaced with a nano size container that might stop the constant problem of muggles
Another of my caches thats future is looking bleak. After being replaced only a week or so ago on Sunday it was again muggled. I have a friend who watches this one and he rang me on Sunday night to say it was scattered all round the area. Maybe next time it might me replaced with a nano or micro.
Replaced cache in same place and covered it a bit, hope the darn muggles leave it alone this time
cache has gone missing again according to a friend who keeps an eye on it for me. Will go and check and replace yet again maybe a bit further from the sight of mugglers.
Yeah, a regular sized cache at last. Several days of smalls & micros, what a pleasure.
# 17 today, 59th for trip & 398th in total. TFTC SL

Another great little spot on the river, muggles can frequent this place during holidays as I have seen them camping in this area quite a bit.
3909 + 200 = 4109. A great Sunday run through the Tumut region with Sol...
A quick stop and find - as Sol says we wondered what happened to the main feature nearby ?!! Thanks again Emongs !!
Took TB - TFTC !!

Neat little spot, just a pity the main attraction is no longer there. Any idea why it's gone - or was it removed before it fell?
Anyway, cache was found quickly, log was signed and cache replaced before we headed off further down the road.
Thanks for showing us the area and the chance to stop. (A scene from a James Bond film was discussed, but that was about it).

Checked on cache and found to be very wet which surprised me as I thought it was pretty water tight. Will replace log book and container ASAP.
Dropped off "ALL BLACK CAPTAIN".
PS: Container was half full of water when we grabbed/saved "Lila the travel bear" as logged on TB's page 12/7/11, "Lila" was soaked and then carefully dried out by a wood fire. We emptied the container and put "ALL BLACK CAPTAIN(David Kirk)" in there because he was plastic and wouldn't be ruined should it fill up again.

1385 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1100.At the location a fisherman was trying very hard to catch himself some lunch, without any luck although you could see the fish lurking in the clear waters below. After he went for a walk further down stream we made a quick find.TNSL visited CacheMover coin and left a TB to replace the one that was there.Tnx The Emongs.
Was a little surprised by the abrupt ending to the road, wouldn't like to make an incorrect choice at night!!!
Found the cache hidden under some muggle rubbish - at least that was organic only.
SIgned and replaced sans banana skins!!!

Was initially on the wrong side of the track, though after sorting that out, made a couple of finds within 1km.
Met by a couple of trout fishermen who had had no luck today, while replacing the cache. All good however.
Thanks for the cache.

Not too sure that the replacement is going to last long. The logbook contains 2 cachers logs and 2 Muggle logs! At least the nice kind of muggle found it this time. TFTH

This was a fantastic and extremely beautiful spot to stop for a cache. I was a bit concerned about a group fishing a little way downstream, but I was a reasonable distance off and mainly out of sight while searching for the cache. I must admit to doing a few gymnastics and checking the area from underneath before heading topside and spotting the cache almost immediately. I appreciated the retrieval tool and that the whole cache was really excellent.

Thanks once more the emongs

Went out for a caching run with cache owner but discovered this one has been muggled and owner will replace very soon (he had a new container and log all set to go before we left town today. Will come back to do next time we are in town.
Found on another days caching with mclogg. Was misleaded by a very obvious spot but soon found the hidey hole.
After a bit of searching found it okay. River running well after rains, looked cool and inviting in the warm sun. Thanks.

there this morning trying their luck.running a banker with irrigation water.

A brown snake slithered past us just before the parking area and we trod carefully around the long grass at GZ.
A lone fisherman was trying his luck downstream a bit on the opposite side in the fast current.
We penciled the "FTF " page and stood and just watched the crystal clear water racing by.
Thanks to The Emongs.Hope you can all come to the Oz Mega Wagga Wagga event next Easter.
Thanks for the nice sized cache and good hide too.TNLN.
