Logs
Searched many spots but unfortunately had to log this as a DNF. Beautiful day, though a little patchy rain
On one of the logs someone said you needed to climb but I didnt think it was possible
Sunday morning when the sun is out and the rain is holding off is not the best time to look for this cache. We waited for a gap in the runners and cyclists and dog walkers and muggles drinking coffee and chatting, then I grabbed the cache from the obvious place. The had to wait another 3 days for a gap so I could replace it.
On the first real day of our NZ tour. Greetings from California! Loving your country.

A day trip to this part of the big city today and a good opportunity to find a couple of pre-solved puzzles and a few trads and Adlabs. I sat and pondered this hide for a while whilst waiting for foot traffic to subside. Once I saw an opening a went in for a forage and was pleased for a fairly quick find. That doesnt always happen, thats for sure. Thanks G_2#5256Logged using Cachly.
First find for a little while. We like these kinda if hides. Great hide, quite busy area so not signed
Visiting the North Island from Ottawa, Canada, by way of the South Island, and Sydney. Gotta get some caches along the way. Visiting the Mission Bay area today. TfTC
A huge thank you to the cache owner for creating and maintaining a wonderful cache. EP79 and I have embarked on a three-month long geocaching trip across the globe, and we are both grateful and thrilled to discover new places and new friends. The first part of our trip is dedicated to Australia and New Zealand. We arrived in Auckland yesterday. Today, we decided to stretch our legs and walked from the CBD to Mission Bay, exploring and geocaching on the way. Millenium foot bridge was one of our stops, and after a short search, we found and logged it.Sorry for logging with a delay. The trip was really busy, but at least I get to revisit these caches again and enjoy great memories. Many thanks for the invite to a beautiful place and for a wonderful geocaching adventure. Greetings from Prague, the Czech Republic, Europe.
Thank you for the cache!Found together with my bestfriend geocacher Ironford during our trip to the North Island. We arrived in Auckland very late last night from Melbourne and were a bit thrown off by the time change. Considering that waaaay back home it was actually a 12-hour difference and a whole different season of the year, we adjusted pretty well, so today it was time to go geocaching in a new country. We decided to spend the day walking after being on planes a lot recently, so we walked from the CBD to Mission Bay beach and all the way back. It was amazing to spend the day so close to the sea - coming from a landlocked country, I couldn't get enough. It took a little bit of checking and searching, but a helpful detail from previous logs pointed us to the right spot. And then it was time to go to the beach! A sweet senior labrador wanted to share some of the saltwater from her coat with us and we picked a few seashells. On our way back, we did the Adventure Labs at the memorial, and we got our first taste of a particular feature of ALL Kiwi hikes that we were about to do in the upcoming weeks - stairs. Lots and lots of stairs.
Previous logs helped me as well. Here from Canada as part of a Girl Guide tour around NZ. TFTC

Also got a hand from the peeling tape comment. Spotted from the correct angle and luckily not too many muggles to compete with.Cache in good nick aside from the peeling tape Cheers
Looked all over, no luck. Even though precious cachers reported it as very easy find.
Thanks to the previous cached who mentioned the peeling tape that I managed to spy the cache and quickly picked it up from GZ in-between muggles. Thanks for bringing me here and TFGC.After spending the morning with some friends I meet up with Lis's Crew and spent the afternoon caching in/around Mission Bay and surrounding areas. What a great way to spend a sunny summers day.
quick little find! Tape is starting to peel. Didnt have pen so photo for reference
Exploring Mission Bay and thought we'd find a cache before lunch. Success!! TFTC
From UK, at beginning of our trip , our 1001st cache ... all good here ..TYFTC
Showing the nephew around and came here for icecreams, on way back to the car the kids played pooh-sticks and M said "I reckon there's a cache around here..." Sure enough we were sat almost directly on top of it! Sent the nephew for a forage as no one pays attention to kids, and shortly the cache was in hand, signed and replaced. TFTC!

Someone below has complained about the price of this structure, but I say that’s all water under the bridge now TFTC

We headed out after school on a beautiful June afternoon. The Bastian Point one was fun. Pretty muddy! And we stopped here on the way back, great little spot for a play!
We took a few lime scooters from the city to Mission Bay today. Miss Em dived straight in and grabbed the cache all whilst telling me it was dangerous and she was scared of the cobwebs. TFTC
After completing a Lab further around the bays I along with Alun B decided to head this way for some more WPS for another lab. I hadnt found this before and happened to be on the way. Found exactly per the hint and cache is all safe and dry. Great spot to visit. After waiting for over 30 mins for a bus to here from town we saw one going the opposite way back to town so jumped across the road asap to a very very full bus so missed either getting an ice cream or some other wps for the lab. Great day out and great spot for a cache.

This was supposed to be our first find of the day but we could find no trace of a cache at the location indicated by the hint.
Perhaps it has fallen or been blown away in the recent stormy weather?

Have been trying to get this for some time and never had a muggle free moment. Weirdly, on New Year’s Day, with sooooo many people around I managed to fluke a quiet spot in foot traffic and bosh, got it. TFTC.
TFTC!! Up in Auckland from Southland so enjoying these beaut beeches up here. Quick find these hides are super cool
Brought our U.K. family visiting for Christmas up to Auckland for a city break, and headed to Mission Bay for evening kai. A very enjoyable geocache - the youngsters spotted it. TFTC
TFTC! A beautiful location and a straight forward find. The views are stunning at this location.

Got it on this beautiful day. Had to be very stealth as so many muggles. Having 4 of us helped to protect what we were doing. Thanks for the cache .
Out for a lovely day with the grand children and showed them their first geocache. All in Good order TFTC
Was just driving a long mission bay so did a quick stop to grab this. No one was about and made a quick find.
Thanks CO

We are on a flying visit from Brisbane to visit family. A quick find on a very windy day which kept lots of Muggles away. Tftc
On a mission with ABCDF4 and eyespyben to complete some Adventure Labs so grabbed a few others along the way. Whilst the general area was busy at 7.30pm on a Saturday night all was quiet at GZ. Well it was once the young lads on their scooters left. As my companions had found it previously I was quick to get the log signed. Thank you for the placement.
Lots of people around but a quick grab in a likely spot found the cache between muggles. TFTC
TFTC 1st day in Auckland first cache while having lunch on waterfront great spot quick find
found it finally! thanks to the owner for helping me and my friends such a fun find once we got it!
This was the very last cache for me today, unless you count the two new Ad Lab waypoints nearby, and then the two others I did after that (the Cloud and Silo Park, which is where I am now sitting by the sea writing up this log). Came here with CyclicalCaching, who had found it before so he got to watch me unnecessarily make this much harder than it needed to be. Oh well - soon found it, no issues here... then we were off to do the Ad Lab stages. TFTC!
21 January 2022 11:57. An easy find, though I got distracted by reading the plaque about the history. Tftc G-2
after a tumultuous journey which involved accidentally dropping into the creek below the cache has now been collected signed and returned
We were up at Kelly Tarlton's with family, and decided to go for a walk afterwards and pick up a couple of caches - ta dah! After successfully retrieving the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE cache, we walked around here. The hint is spot on and it didn't take long to find which is always helpful in such a public area. Great spot, TFTC
