Not hot enough to swim today, but it was perfect caching weather, so caching we went. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here. Log is ok, but the rest of the container is manky.
Found today with Penndragon, did not realise what a popular place this was for free camping. Cache was open and very wet. TNLN thanks
#2585 Mr BGF stopping by Greens Lake for lunch before an inspection nearby. Oh there is a cache nearby, why not? Might be cool in Green's Lake but another warmish Autumn day outside. An amazing number of campers here given it is just another normal week day. How nice it would be to relax by the lake all day without a worry in the world, sigh, back to work... TFTC Alicopter.

One Guy, One Gal and a Telescope!!
A plan was hatched earlier in the week to head to Greens Lake at Corop to make use of free camping, a new pop up tent and the dark sky to be able to look at stars without the light pollution we get in Melbourne. Heading up through Kangaroo Ground and across to Heathcote we grabbed a few caches on the way before having a cracking dinner at the Colbinabbin Pub. After setting up camp (15 minutes) we kicked back until dark. We checked out Nebulas, Globuler Clusters, Constellations, Double Stars and Planets, the highlight being Saturn and its rings and Jupiter with four of its moons!! We headed home the next day via Rushworth then to Whroo where we completed the series of caches there then headed home.
We stopped on the way out of the park, grabbed the cache before heading to Rushworth.
Thanks for the Cache!!!!

With school holidays upon us again Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 5 kids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, chan02, neisha07 and boo09) teamed up for a mini road trip to Shepparton and surrounds. We had borrowed my father in laws 7 seater car so it was all of us in the geo car with plenty of tears and laughter! There are so many lakes around here - very cool! Many thanks
Find #1297 for me. This was a quick find and the first for the day. Nice to see such a large container! I'd never been to Green Lake before so this was a first for me. Thanks for bringing me here today Alicopter and thanks for the cache!
In the area today with a little time for a find many thanks for the effort and placement of this cache.
Found by edmil @ maddie @ 10:55 am. Decided to come and check the lake out after all the rain we've had and nabbed this cache as a bonus. Signed log but made no swap. Thanks for the cache.
Quick easy find after a night camping at the beautiful Green Lake, we will be back. Well done for the hide T a little rubber duckie L a little rubber lego. TFTC
Took a geo-adventure with Bogonghazy, SorceySal and the geodogs for Father's Day. Fantastic adventure with lots of caching along the way. Big thanks to SS who drove. Had a wonderful adventure with friends. Thanks for adding to our adventure. This is a lovely spot in a beautiful area
On the way to Echuca in the company of bogonghazy, leetalicious and the 2 geo dogs. We decided to go the long way as none of had cached this area. Unfortunately no time for a swim today as we continued our journey north. No campers today but I can imagine it would be quite popular in summer. Thanks Alicopter
A generous offer from Sorceysal to put some more K's on her new Rav4, had Leetalicious, myself and the 2 geodogs heading to Heathcote for the event, and then onto some great caches.
A quick find here, and we had the place to ourselves. beaut spot, thanks Alicopter and daughter for bringing us here

Busy area this Ozday weekend. Grabbed the cache and signed the log.
Thanks, Alicopter.
Thanks, Alicopter.
Another lovely spot that caching has bought us to, Being from North Queensland it is a little cold for us to swim at this time of year. The listed TB is not in the cache. T 1 x TB SL TFTC
First time I've seen a geocoin. Need to learn more about them so left it, much to my young bloke's disgust:-)
did not need cooling down today as it was only about 10 degrees. found cache left TB. tftc.
Thought we would start early and pick up a few cache's before the cold winds and storms arrive. Thank you for bringing us to this lake. Must look great when it is full of water and campers. T F T C aliclpted.
Found by DotG, on my way to Ardmona to watch Murchison play footy, on my own today so getting a few caches along the way. Little bit of a detour but found quickly cause I'm a little late now. Cache in good order and well concealed, SL TNLN TFTC
Found on my way home to Ballarat after the 15 year Geocaching Birthday event yesterday. I was the sole visitor out to this Lake today, drove to within about 20 metres, and the cache was quickly in hand and signed. I drove round to get the other one out here also, but decided the grass was way too long for me to contemplate trudging through 70 odd metres to get to GZ, so this one was my only find at Green's Lake today. Thanks to Alicopter and your eldest daughter for the hide.
Great spot and lake we had never been to prior .
No one around either.
Many thanks for the cache.

Many thanks for the cache.
Today, we did a loop from Shepparton to Corop, Colbinabbin, Whroo & a few towns in between.
The weather was great - not too hot, and the roads dry and dusty.
We found a good variety of traditional, multi caches and a few puzzles.
Swapped trackables.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Alicopter, for us and others to find.

Currently camped at Aysons Reserve we headed out today to explore the area and pick up a few caches along the way.
Today was day 339 of our Geostreak. Thanks to the CO's for the variety of cache types and sizes today. A lovely area to visit here, so many boaters and caravanners. Certainly a popular spot. Dropped off a TB.

Good snake country & good time of year to find them. Very creepy! We're Queenslanders wandering around this great country. Walked to cache from camp ground. Love all the lakes in Victoria & the fact that many are free camps. TFTC.
Found today on our way through to Shepparton. A lovely spot. We have not been here before. Don't think I'd like to do this one in the real hot months with the long grass.

A short detour on our way to Bendigo, after a few days in Wangaratta. We have driven past the sign many times but never ventured in to see the lake. It took the magnetism of a cache to draw us in.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to Alicopter for the hunt.

Cords are spot on with this cache ,was going to get both around the lake but the road was too rough for my Geocaddy so I only got this one . Tnln . Thanks .
We are travelling around Oz in our caravan and had been parked up at Ayesons reserve enjoying the area. This morning it was time for us to continue on so with caravan in tow we headed toward Yarrawonga via Sheparton stopping at geocaches as we go.
We pulled in and found the cache quickly then proceeded down to the water to take a look at the lake and enjoy morning tea. What a wonderful spot, still has a few caravanners one of whom was out trying his luck in a boat.
On our return journey as spring comes in we will have to come back and spend a few days.
thanks Alicopter

A lovely stretch of water, nice to see it so full, we let our GG travel bug cool down here before travelling back home with o.kay to Shepparton
Found with partner in crime & dmiller beautiful day - lake looks great after the rain - beautiful eagle flying above us
Another brisk walk from the camping ground for GeoK9 and me on an overcast, windy day, with some rain hanging around. Makes for a nice change! Good find in a pleasant corner of the reserve. Took nothing except photos and left nothing except my signature:-) Thanks for the hunt, Alicopter
