Found it a bit washed away from where it probably should be. Maintenance email logged with owner. Replaced where it may be meant to be...but who knows. G'luckies.
Out caching as I was staying with friends in the area. Enjoyed my walk in the area. TFTC
No luck today but still squishy underfoot recent rain may have swept thisone away???
After givingup and posting DNF needed to wah my muddy hands in the stream and what do ibsee once i stood up... well i bet you can guess tftc
This took a little longer than it should of! I was within centimetres of the cache without noticing it, thankfully Aiden29 followed me and found the cache. It was not where I expected it to be!
I choose to search one side, while Merlo58 searched the other. We switched sides and I brought out my super strong torch to help us look. I went to put my phone down and move a little and spotted the cache, exactly where I wasn't looking.
Nice little park that I had always driven past but never entered. Very steep though! I approached GZ and noticed the geotrails. Followed them but didn't look hard enough. After a second round, I finally noticed the cache from a distance. Not a muggle in sight throughout the entire search. TFTC
Managed to find the cache in a gap between dog walkers & motorbike riders going past. TFTC
Took us a good 15 minutes to find it. Went through the bush, over the bridge and under it. Grab a stick to move the vegetation!
Took ages and would have given up if not with Julie. Well hidden so needed a stick to help move the foliage
Nice quick find fortunately on this one after several ones that took way longer than they should have. The area is very wet at the moment so had to watch my step a little. TFTC.
Wow third time lucky on this one.
We looked for it just a couple of months ago and had no luck but
When I looked today it had had recent finds so off I went to find it.
Lots of muggles with there dogs first thing in the morning here so I couldn't look. Until I came back in the afternoon and the park was empty "yay"
Soon had cache in hand.
AT LAST.
Tftc. Cache is in really good condition nice and dry.

A bit muddy around here today. Isn't this a most rickety structure. Luckily had our torch to search out those dark places and then spied him sitting and crossed over to make the find. Took the tb. TFTC
Tricky little number to finish off our day's geocaching. Well hidden at GZ but by looking from various angles I worked out where it was. As this was the day we hit 250 geocache finds we decided to drop our latest travel bug here. Cache in great condition. TFTC.
I was in the area early to collect EIR-0T from school so decided upon a cache...this one.... so redirected to a suitable parking spot.
Arrived at the parking spot to a group of dog walkers readying for an adventure.... most of the dogs were small so I knew I could walk faster than them to the cache site and hopefully make the find before they catch up to me.
Arriving at GZ with a fair idea of what to expect, still had to take a couple of angles to spot this one as not to get too muddy.
Cache is all fine.
TFTC and bringing me to this little reserve.

Never knew this reserve was here. Comfortable we found the correct crossing but baulked at getting any dirtier. Will bring more enthusiastic offspring next time.
What a very busy street Waiata is. Every man and dog decided it was the place to be. I guess on a positve note that meant there was no one else in the park to hinder a look. Once at GZ a quick look came up with nothing other than cuts on the legs from cutty grass. Not to be detered it was onwards and under! That was when I got caught out by a lab!! It could hear me but not see me and it was determined to let its owner know something was underfoot!! Decided to stay put and hope the dog would follow its owner, which thankfully it appeared to do. Back up on terra firma the dog came back , and I am convinced it gave a scathing look " really". More importantly the cache had been located in all that excitment. TFTC and little adventure. Daily streak continued - Day 498.
I've been 4 times with no luck boo so thanks fuzzy nz for replacing it was a easy find today exactly were I had looked previously am sure there was nothing there in that position on other looks even with another cacher .yaay finally a smiley here tftc
From the looks of others and my own comments. It looks like the Cache has disappeared so needs to be replaced.
Did not find but found a container in the stream that could have been thrown out by muggels. It a couple of meters up stream from the main bridge and a few meters down stream from a second make shift bridge, definitely could be it.
On a trip to Auckland with Davidson Clan to take part in a Browns Island excursion. Checked as per hint but no luck - thanks anyway.
It was too wet to search properly as we weren't keen on getting wetter and muddy.
I thought I knew ahead of time exactly where this would be and was surprised when my GPS was showing I wasn't quite in the right spot. There were muggles about early walking their dogs, so I ran off further down through the park, found a huge area in the park I didn't know existed and when I ran back from a different direction spotted the obvious actual hiding spot. I was able to fake needing to take a break from running while I waited for a muggle walking his kid in a stroller to pass, and then the cache was mine! #45
Beautiful day for some lunchtime caching. Took me a while to find, but eventually did. TFCT.
Very professional Geocache. Kids were into this one.
Watch out for the trees with thorns on them.

NOt in the obvios place, still 24 metres away. Ah over there! Cheers.

The hint was familiar but I couldn't quite finish it. My elder geocaching buddy got it though and gave us the clue. Yes lots of four legged muggles around lol. tftc
Great cache. Sent us to a part of the park previously undiscovered by me. Thanks from irongutz and ajp49
Spent a couple of hours with yorkshirekiwi83 finding a few caches in the greater Remuera area, before attending an event in the Domain this afternoon. All was quiet in this nice reserve and we soon found the cache here. TFTC!

Building up my numbers with Vistra, so spent the afternoon just gathering a few that are between areas that I had worked on before. Nice walk into the park and found a new bridge before the old one, had a rummage under and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

This one got us a bit confused considering there are two places the cache could have been. Our GPS was bouncing around a bit too much, so we had to rely on the hint, and instinct. Going to have a sore back tomorrow after retrieving this one. TFTC
Aha. It appears that we are in FuzzyNZ territory. Our first North Island cache of yours. Out collecting a puzzle smilie and this was the next closest. Made the quick find and then headed back into the village for dinner prior to our next stanza of Bridge.

Finally found it after hunting around for ages - my phone wasn't picking up a strong GPS signal at the site, but the hint got me there. TFTC!
After yet another hospital visit time for a cache or 2, took a couple of sweeps and garball found this one where I had already been! Maybe I need a doctors visit for my eyes!! Thanks for the cache fuzzynz, nice placement.

Why a Waiata? On our way back to my sister's home (casaba3) we stopped to find a cache to put a smile on our faces and our maps. Took us a while but found it in the end. Nice camo fuzzynz. TFTC. Forgot I had a trackable in my bag so guess it just visited. Will have to visit this park again as the dog is allowed here (stayed home up north today).
After being stuck at home for over a week post operation I decided today was far too nice to spend inside. We looked for a nearby trad that didn't require me to have great fitness levels to retrieve! Sent ger in for the grab as it looked to be a home for too many of those 8 legged creatures I so hate! Log soon signed and cache returned. TFTC
Why a waiata? Well, I was visiting my 6 year old nephew and he managed to staple his finger! So knowing this was nearby and unfound I used it as a distraction for him. We stopped at the wrong clue item after a nice walk through the park, but when re looking at the GPS, realised that we needed to go slightly further. Checked all access points twice before spotting the cache. Nephew retrieved, I signed, and off home we went. So in summary, why a waiata? Wai not?! Thanks!
Thanks for the cache! Managed to stay out of the mud, unlike the dog XD well hidden, nice camo.
Can't quite think of a waiata that reflects the hide but never mind still a find and smilie. TFTC #5834
I must have missed the easy way in from Orakei Road. Instead, I parked right next to a sign for the reserve and walked down a paved way which turned out to belong to a house! The actual entrance that I used looks like the back of a house or two, but got me i to where I needed to be. XNSL. TFTC.
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Our niece is here to help with the find, after making our way over the temporary path and bridge we approach GZ not sure what to expect. Luckily the cache wanted to be found. Thanks again for the cache.

Quiet stroll to GZ, lots of bird call in the park today. The nearby diggers are all quiet, must be smoko time? See some trees have been removed, and a temporary bridge across the stream. With the hint knew where to look, and we made our find. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
I was driving past and decided to grab this cache. This was the first time I had ever been in this park. I must admit that this reserve is hidden little gem! Approaching the GZ I had a good idea where the cache was. However after grovelling around for a bit, it wasn't until looked at unusual angle did I spot the cache. TFTC!
Nicely hidden cache in a great little park. No muggles around this morning. TFTC
Nice hide and cool camo. Was geocaching with my little sister, we were about to give up and go home when i spotted coming out from under the bridge. TFTC and Hi Toby
Day 2/50 of our streak for our geo-licence saw us head out to Why a Waiata to grab our cache for the day.
We approached this thinking it would be fairly straightforward much like other Billy Goats Gruff caches, but we ended up with heads full of cobwebs after searching about for a fair while! However, the cache was eventually secured. definitely a well concealed cache! Thanks for the hide.

Bit of a wander as roadworks and cones meant I couldn't park where I had planned ....Then I couldn't find way back up from the reserve to Orakei rd and came out a different exit !!!!!!!
I wasn't really wearing the right footwear to grab this one, but Davycrockpot found it and all was good. TFTC
Out of condition. Found cache with Rediguana while in Auckland for the NZ Mega TFTC
Took a while for me to locate the cache but in the end found it One TB in and one out. TFTC
I initially missed the cache and spent a little time checking the wrong areas, before correcting my error and spotting the cache. Nicely hidden in plain sight. I also managed to bang my head three times during my search which didn't impress me very much, especially as I hit my head on the same object each time!
Found with MischiefD. TFTC.

Doing a quick maintenance check and dipping a couple of TB's before I take them back to the States in a few days time.
After 20 minutes, a bleeding hand and some very muddy clothes I decide to turn back. Maybe wasn't my day. Or just to ambitious for a second catch.

I remember coming here before looking for this one, (must have forgotten to write a DNF) It was a couple of years back and just around the time they had trimmed some trees in the area, not sure why I missed it last time, this time i made sure to get right under for a decent look!! Quickly spotted, not too keen to fall in that "water" tho!!
Made sure to keep the torch light to a minimum as not to be spotted by the people on the back porch of the house.

I briefly made an attempt at this cache the day before yesterday while out for a run but it was so early in the morning that it was too dark to see the cache. So this morning I armed myself with a torch and this time had a successful hunt! Very well hidden indeed! Took TBs for an adventure. TFTC!
Out and about knocking off more stages of the "All Around Auckland - Minor, Major, Monument" and thought we would pick up a few others along the way.
Another great park, another cache and another quick find. Replaced the cache back in the very thorough hiding place - you earn your find with this one!

Like the previous loggers we had a bit of trouble with this one because it is simply well hidden.
But we eventually managed to find the box. Thanks.

Found this evening after work. Given the clue it was quite clear where to although I took a little looking before I had the cache located. In that time I managed to totally cover my jersey with cobwebs and my shorts with dirt. Go figure!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Haha there are two of them! Nobody home at the first. Should follow the technology rather than my nose. TFTC

A good cache for a first placement! Found it in the dark, was a bit interesting. TFTC
Staying just around the corner & managed to grab this one this morning. TFTC Left TB
Success after my second attempt. My gps signal was not the strongest [this was the case the first time] . No one around today - 2 or 4 legged .Cleverly hidden - tfc
Was in Auckland for work and needed to pick up a few things in Remuera and once I finished doing my chores I decided that since it was still early I would go and pick up a couple more caches before going to the office.
Arriving in via Waite Avenue I was able to find a carpark not too far from this walkway down to his cache, was quite surprise that amount of zigs and zags that I had to do before I managed to get my way to the cache, after a short walk I soon realised that GZ was a little bit off the beaten track, arriving at GZ I soon realised where the cache was but as I was in my work clothes after a short search I had to give this one up and decided to move on, what a bit of a pity, I will need to come back and find this one next time I am in the area, oh well a DNF.

Ground nice and boggy at GZ, good for keeping muggles away. The log was a little damp but not too damp to sign. TFTC
