Autumnal Victorian Roadtrip.Day Six: Great Western to home.Weather: Foggy start, but still perfect! On the road, and this is the first stop. This is not a road that Im highly likely to travel again, so better log this cache while Im here. As somebody else has previously noted, the plaque has been nicked, but the cache, as short distance away, is in place and in good shape. Thanks for this hide tigersden.
Heading out for a lovely family day out exploring some of the area, made our way here, Looks like the plaque is missing from the marker, but thank you for bringing us to this area, TFTC and the fun
Great trip back towards halls gap collecting a few smiles as I goThank you for the distraction

I lived in Beulah from 1972 through to the end of 1976. I attended the local primary school from Prep to the end of Grade 1, and my father was the Methodist minister there. I was in Beulah today for the funeral of a longtime family friend and one of my honorary aunts.
After the funeral, it was back into the car and the long trip home, with several geocaches to be found on that trip to break it up.
Seeing some of the places I remember from my early childhood was lovely.
Mr Mitchell and his crew certainly covered some territory.
Thank you, tigersden for this Traditional cache.

YAY - found the cache today. Love these big containers. Unfortunately the plaque is missing from the Historical Marker and I was unable to read about the history of the area. Thanks tigersden for setting up this cache.

My first 4x4 camping trip with this group, exploring more of Wyperfeld National Park. Sebastian is not quite equipped for deep soft sand, so I hitched a ride in RoamingHowie’s GeoRanger.
Day 3: Time to head home, finding a handful of caches along the way.
Major Mitchell sure got around, didn’t he!

I'm always happy to follow Major Tom's footsteps so this was a logical spot to stop for a break from the drive, unfortunately some low life has stolen the plaque, presumably to melt down and sell for scrap.
Thanks tigersden for placing and maintaining this cache.

In Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and The Empire.
Today was My last day in Mildura, I finished off any solved puzzles I had to do and a few other caches I passed by, once they were done I followed the Silo Art trail down to Rupanyup and then across to St Arnaud to do the labs there.
Thanks tigersden for the cache.

An early start today as my plan was to grab some adventure labs and a few scattered caches along the way to catch up with caching family and friends for a few nights away and to clean up the Paddle Steamer Geo Art Trail.
Another cache and a chance to stretch the ol' legs
Thanks for the cache and the series tigersden. Appreciate your efforts.

Find No. 3204. Found at 5.40pm.
A caching afternoon, in the van with Geodog Penny on board to find the two caches at Green Lake. We needed these two to complete a challenge back home.
Seeing how we were in the area we then found the caches along the way, back to Dadswells Bridge, turned off before Glenorchy and headed to Rupanyup to find three more before heading home.
Heading for home in a round-a-bout way to find our final three caches for the day. First up we found the cache, then seeing how this was a quiet off the road spot we took time out to have a cuppa before we continued.

TFTC. We decided to head away for a few days. the Silo Trail beckoned. A short drive from Maryborough and we arrived at Rupanyup. Decided to camp her overnight. unhitched the car from the motorhome and went exploring the area using caching as a guide. A pleasant couple of hours doing a loop from Rupanyup to Murrow and Glenorchy and returning via Cadawalla.
Would be interested to learn more but the plaque has been removed.

With a bright and early start from home we headed towards the Southern Wimmera, to collect a few more scattered caches. Our route took more twists and turns than we had expected, luckily we were rewarded with a good number of those addictive little yellow smilie tokens.
WOW A golden oldie - almost 11 years on the gameboard.
Our thanks to 'tigersden' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Unfortunately the actual plaque has been removed from the rock, so couldn’t read more about Major Mitchell’s explorations. A quick find as I drove past to Stawell. Thanks tigersden.
As I approached my overnight destination I had time to spare so did what any good cacher would do and head out and about to collect a few more scattered caches. My route took me much further than I’d expected but was rewarded with those addictive little yellow smiles I love visiting places like this with a historical connection TFTC tigersden
Someone has souuvired the marker. Did they melt it down or add to their pool room?

From Genoa, we are on the 5th January 2019 on the first World Cruise of the MSC Magnifica. The ship docked in the ports of Marseille, Barcelona and Malaga in the western Mediterranean, and then the Atlantic crossing. The last stay in Europe is in Funchal on Madeira, before the Caribbean is reached. With Philipsburg, Charlotte Amalie, San Juan, Willemstad and Oranjestad there are several islands in the itinerary, which attract to an interesting shore leave. Continue to Colombia to Santa Marata and Cartagena and then along the Gulf Coast of South and Central America via Cristobal to the Panama Canal. After crossing the MSC Magnifica drives up the American Pacific coast, the ports of Puntarenas, Corinto, Puerto Quetzal, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, San Diego, Los Angeles are visited on the way to San Francisco. Continue east through Hawaii into the South Seas, where Papeete, Moorea, Bora-Bora, Pago Pago, Apia, Nuku'Alofa, Suva and Lautoka are on the route map. Next up are Bay of Islands and Auckland destinations in New Zealand, before heading south along the Australian south coast via Sydney to Melbourne, where we finish our voyage on March 22, 2019. We spend three weeks in the motorhome in Australia visiting friends in Melbourne and driving along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide. Our tour back to Melbourne went via the siloarttrail, to the beautiful places of Silo Art's.
On our flight from Melbourne home, we stopped for four days in Singapore. After almost four months our wonderful tour was over.
At each port we anchored in and the places we visited, we tried to find geocaches. Your cache was one of them.
Many thanks for the care of this cache and best regards from Germany.

Found on a three day caching wander with AussieM&M!!!! We centred our searches in the Ararat area but ventured further afield when some of our planned caches were either disabled or on very slushy dirt roads. Very cold and plenty of rain ….. although we seemed to dodge the worse of it!!! The information plaque was gone …. such a shame!!
Went up to the marker here eager to read more only to find the plaque was missing, oh well, we found a cache instead.
