As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache [red]within the next couple of months[/red], just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Heading up to maintain as soon as the rain eases up....hopefully in the next week or two.....sorry for taking a while.....
Wish I had checked the logs before looking for this one. As previosly mention the cache is gone. I found a pencil the right size for a micro and the remains of the cache note. I clean up the remains and grabbed the pen. I looked for the container and log book, but I couldn't find it.
Couldn't find cache suggest vandalised. Found evidence of it being destroyed with a pencil found in the vicinity, remains of cache information note and plastic bags at location.
We were aware this cache was in the area, however have not had an opportunity to search until today. The prize was easily located and we headed off to the next one. TFTC AmbulareSimia
After failing to get a FTF in the dark on night it was published, I finally got back to try and find it. A much easier search in the daylight. TFTC. TNLN
Had the geo-mobile in for enhancement in Brendale, so decided to try and clean up some of the many caches in this area that were still outstanding.
This was our 6th cache and 5th find out of 8 attempts for the day.
Geo-hounds had a ball and slept soundly all the way home.
TFTC AmbulareSimia. We especially enjoyed the hint.

Found on our way back from checking another cache. Had to wait for people working nearby to leave.

Finally - second attempt, this time with a real GPS rather than an iPhone - so much better! TFTC
Finally! My first find after 4 DNFs. Not where I expected it to be. Thanks for the cache.
Electricity workers on the road made it a bit of an obstace course to get to the area but once through it was an easy stroll.
It took two searches of the area before I found the cache. Didn't see/hear any of the residents.

Quick find while out with the learner driver geoson... Great reason for him to get his hours up, and a great reason for me to go caching!

Out riding to clock up a few practice km for an upcoming ride so pulled in to see the turtles on the way past. Quick find and i was back in the saddle. TFTC
Always a pleasure to visit areas like this and once again clankirks beat us to the booty, thanks AmbulareSimia.
I enjoyed being in this area this morning. Didn't see any wildlife...... Heard a big splash at GZ does that count?
Found with Geonanna and Lead ninja, water dragons a plenty, a very relaxing spot. TFTC
Was lurking around while Loupyloo and Mrs Simia hunted for this one....moved it slightly due to some natural degradation of the original home...should be safe and fine
I'd been out doing some caching with the AmbulareSimia Clan and were now heading home. Mr Simia wanted to check on this one and as I hadn"t done it yet, thought we could kill 2 birds with one stone.* We parked near the station n crossed the bridge to the park. With my GPS in hand i followed it pretty much right to GZ. The thick trees held back the park lighting, and as I stepped behind them into the shadows, a large splash echoed up from the creek scaring the cr4p outta me I hurled abuse @ Mr Simia [:(!] thinking it woz him n his warped sense of humor It wozn't and he walked off feigning disgust that i would even think he'd do such a thing, (Sorry again M8, though we both know it's just the type of thing you'd do ) I must have disturbed a turtle or water dragon or some such animal and it's made a watery retreat....I hope. After apologising profusly, I went back to looking in, under and behind all the places a micro could be. Then, just like the others b4 me, i suddenly got the torch on precisely the right angle and i'd found it This woz a tricky little blighter but an excellent spot. Signed the logbook @ 6-46pm. Stopped on the bridge on the way back to watch a couple of ducks in the water below. TFTC AmbulareSimia

Nice hide, found fairly quickly. Geodaughter was interested in the park equipment, but not keen using them in front of a couple of teen muggles. TFTC.
Holy honking muggle action. Thought the loitering emo teens would never leave. Nearly gave up and a window of opportunity opened up. TFTC!
Cache found today in good condition. Nice park here after a short walk from near the local bait&tackle shop.
SL.Thanks.
SL.Thanks.
What an interesting little park. Will have to return with the kids bikes. Geo-kid-number-two-son claims the find for this one and from now on wishes to be known as "The Micro Master". Nice Cache Thanks
Found lizard, duck, spider, cache, but no turtles. Nicely hidden. Cool kiddy park as well. TFTC!
Very odd. When I downloaded the details for this cache I ended up with two caches of the same name with different locations. Tried the nearest one but it was nowhere near a location that sounded like the hint.
Almost gave it away but tried the second one and there it was right where it was supposed to be but some 4km by road from the first one.
The cache is hidden in a rather precarious position where even a small bump will probably dislodge it from its hiding place. Hope I’m not the last one to find it.

Great spot! Didnt have much luck with the wildlife mostly because of the weather increasing the creek's water level and speed!

A good easy find for Ogre No: 3.
A nice area thank you for taking us there.

A cool spot in the shade this morning
I spooked a couple of water dragons as I snuck in
The cache was waiting patiently for me to find it.
It's patience finally paid off

We didn't see any turtles today. We didn't play on the swings because there were great big puddles under them. We ran around the bike course lots though. It was fun.
No turtles to be seen today but the geokids had a ball pretending to be on bikes and running around the bike course. TFTC
I have lived in the area for years, and walked past this spot hundereds of times - and now cached it. thanks
A nice quick find and return just before a couple of muggles came wandering through. TFTC
Mosquito heaven here this morning, but not enough to deter us from finding the cache. Something noisy nearby had scared off the turtles though, sadly. TFTC! ='.'=
at 14:48 our number 400! It was a nice place for lunch. A nice hide Ambulare Simia but they are usually called micros. It makes a difference as to whether we carry large Geocoins and TBs to GZ. Anyway TFTC.
site maintenance and corrected listing size as per requests - this cache is a Micro - apologies to previous finders.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 1:42pm. Not a turtle in sight but there was a cache; a good hide too. TFTC
After work driving by i couldnt help my self i had to get it.
Parked near the main road and walked under the bridge to the GZ.
spotted the GZ from a distance. I dont know why but it was just one of those ones that say im over here.
was searching the gz like a madman looking for a small cache.
than at the right angle with the right facial ezpression i saw it. smaller than expected.

Found at 0822. Had a bit of a search to find this one. The cache was smaller than expected. It was also guarded. Cache OK and dry. TFTC.
If this cache was a snake, it would have bitten me a dozen times. I leant over it, I scratched around near it, I almost sat on it, I scraped my arm (more blood for the cache gods ) on its hiding place. When I did eventually find it, it was because I happened to look at it from just the right angle. Definately not my best effort, but a find's a find. TN/LN/SL. That's two you "got me" with AmbulareSimia. Revenge will be mine ... GC16Q5G .
Now this was an area with which I was more acquainted. I'd checked out this spot some time ago with the view of placing a cache here. Unfortunately the area was fully of junior muggles on the nearby 'cycle road' and placement was out of the question.
Pleased to see someone else has filled the gap. Given the time I decided to have afternoon tea whilst here. I shared with the ducks ....the two ducklings present were quite bold
Found the cache without any problems. Cache dry and in perfect condition.
Thanks AmbulareSimia
