TFTC. Grabbing a few caches on the way home from Adelaide!Happy caching and safe travels!
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. After being in this beautiful State for nigh on three months it is time for us to head back home. Staying in Port Wakefield for two nights to grab caches in outlying areas. Up bright and early this morning to tackle some caches in the surrounds. Thanks for the cache.

Found also some caches by the road mostly the old one. This was one of them. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic. Tomorow I start my Priscilla trip to Coober Pedy and Alice Springs.
Found it! Very cool location, found quickly and signed. #489 TFTC!Today was a successful day of geocaching by myself with the aim of reaching 500 finds. First find was at 7am, last one at 5pm and a total of 45 finds for the day. Weather started off stormy so I set off in the direction of the clear skies and ended up picking up caches from Hamley Bridge through to Nantawarra and back through Port Wakefield. Could hear thunder in the distance for most of the day but only had one brief storm pass over in Owen. Lots of impassable, muddy roads were encountered after so much rain in the last 4 days.
On a lunch break while working on the road re-build came to find some caches. Found by the Aussie branch of Dobie's Pride. TFTC!
Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Nice one. Thanks Tk.
Thanks also to all the COs for taking us on this geo-tour. We have enjoyed our time in SA, but it is time to slowly make our way back West again.

Not where I thought it would be here but after a few looks in odd places the cache was found
Today I headed up to the copper coast for a day out to find a few caches yet to be found plus the new onslaught of puzzles up here. Managed to dodge the rain that was forecast and come away with just over 50 finds.

This weekend, I headed with [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) to Mount Remarkable National Park for a combination of hiking and mountain biking. We based ourselves in Wilmington and overall, we enjoyed a weekend of nice spring weather.
Today, I travelled with [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) from Adelaide to Wilmington. We called into Nantawarra on route, and then enjoyed a pub dinner in Laura.
This cache took a little to find, since we were focusing on the obvious object that this cache was titled under. Anyway, with two sets of eyes, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) managed to make the find nearby. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook is getting pretty full. Thanks Southern Cross Caching for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A great day out exploring the area with [@Davidwazza](http://coord.info/PR61VZX) ! TFTC!
Found on a trip from Wool Bay on Yorke Peninsula back to home in the Adelaide Hills via Maitland, then up to the northern plains to find most of the caches on the circuitous back-roads in an area between Nantawarra, Balaklava and Bowmans, finding 22 caches for the day and clearing up a very rewarding portion on the map. Thanks for the cache Southern Cross Caching!
With restrictions about to ease even further, I think we can safely enable our caches for people to start finding again. Please remember to practice safe hygiene measures while out an about, remain safe and most importantly, have fun.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hello everyone, in these terrible times and with the current government directive for people to stay at home unless it’s essential. We’ve made a decision to take our caches off-line to stop temptation and encourage people to stay home. If this goes longer than the allowable 2 weeks period and geocaching hq decide to archive them, then so be it. But let’s hope this is over as soon as possible with as little damage as possible, so we can all get on with our lives this great game in the conditions we are accustomed to.
Cheers and stay safe and healthy,
Shane and Josie

A quick find then a great place for the team's 4pm lunch stop. Much discussion was had about whether it was an active post office or not, which was settled by a muggle turning up to collect her mail!
Out on a lovely winters day, with an Owl and a Starfish,
Travelling on the dirt roads north bound from Gawler.
A lot of laughs and caches found.
Mrs rat was on a quest to get to 6,000 finds.
A quick find by the merry trio.

There was a discussion about, if the post office was still active.

Yet another puzzled puzzler's Tuesday caching expedition. Today's crew of brisal5, Mrs. SA Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl set sail north again to where we were caching DNF's recently. Whilst doing that two weeks ago we rectified three DNF'S but added another three to the list. Although we made a lot of finds I managed to add another four to my DNF list! No matter we had a lot of laughs and I added a few unloved caches to my list along the way. [:o)]
We quickly found the cache and decided to stop here for lunch. Wouldn't you know it a local came to collect the mail and we were using the parcel collection box as a seat! [:o)] Had a great chat before moving on. Apparently I remind her of someone. George Clooney? [8)]

Day 2 of our girl's adventure and Gral4 and I did a spin around town collecting caches before heading into the wild and retackling yesterdays DNF, some 4WD caches and exploring the backroads for some planetary pursuit caching.
Another interesting day, we encountered mangroves and slippery mud, saw kangaroos, a rabbit, a dead cat [)], a UFO lauchpad [?], an old homestead, a grandprix track, a few trains and big cactus plants amongst other things.
Gral4 did some great 4WDing which meant we could get to some places my Toyota Corolla can only dream about I dropped lots of TB's on the way but we also picked up another 4.
Weary and hungry we ended up at Cookies at Two Wells for dinner and enjoyed a very tasty sweet and sour chicken dish to complete the fun weekend.
Nice little postal treasure here. I did a portal submission while Gral4 found the cache.

Day 2 of our adventures. This was much more adventurous than day 1. We did a lot of 4x4 driving, up tracks that hadn't seen a vehicle for ages, NEARLY conquered mangrove mud without ending up in it, saw two kangaroos and two sleepy lizards, three trains went past just after we went across the crossings, and we had lots of fun. It was good to get the 4x4 out and use it for what it is designed for, although muggle hubby might not be happy with the layer of missing duco. I have never been confident to use the 4x4 like this, there will be no stopping me now.
Quick find while Martina was doing portals. Enjoyed seeing the PO out in the middle of nowhere.

Moneydork was on YP caching and since he had a kayak with him, I'd put mine on Harry and was headed over to join him for a paddle at Price to get that one cache that taunts me everytime I go anywhere near YP [^]
Since we were meeting later in the day, I found a few caches beforehand including a multi at a cemetery that had eluded me once before but had caught my attemtion as the name on the headstone was one that I knew. Turns out that the multi is based on my great great grandparents on my mum's mother's side of the family So I was stoked to find Resting in the Hummocks today as well as doing a Price Paddle
After the kayak, I raced home to attend my grand daughter's 13th birthday tea and then muggle partner drove me around to get a few more caches on the way home [^]

A bout of Mondayitis inspired Mr M to go caching with Mrs M and a visiting Mogni. A trip to the Mid North was hastily planned. Snowtown recorded the highest windgust in 8 years... and we were probably retrieving a cache at that time. A great day was had despite the weather.

After a couple of big days caching, today was more of a rest day - no power trails for me - that will be on again tomorrow. I had to head to Mallala to meet Honeysucker to collect some log sheets and containers, and then headed a bit further north. Any cache on my route was fair game.
I thought I knew where this one was going to be, but alas, it wasn't that simple. However, it wasn't long before I had the cache in hand. Thanks to Southern Cross Caching for this cache.

After meeting a few local caching teams for dinner Wednesday night we headed off to Mallala to try our luck at the power trails here, as we liked the theme behind each one. We got through "It's a small World" yesterday but ran out of light. We camped locally for a nice early start first thing in the morning and after finishing another well set out power trail we started heading north towards Whyalla. We pulled up at this great looking old building that has definitely survived the test of time better than the nearby tennis courts out the back. We haven't heard much of PG of late so it's great to do a cache dedicated to her. The cache took a little while to find but our names have now been added to the log.
