The container has now been removed. Archiving is now complete , so after 211 finds over eight years it is no longer available. Thanks to Ministro for removing this cache from those available for finds on the Capricorn Coast. I will not be replacing it.
At last the job has been finished and the temporary fence removed. I can now get access to remove the cache which will then no longer be available .
No response from the owner within the last 28 Days and as per my original note this cache has been archived. If you wish to replace it please submit a new cache via [this link](https://www.geocaching.com/play/hide).
Recently residents of the area met with the Mayor and some Council Officers to get an update on the work. The Mayor stated that the job may be finished for Christmas. One of the residents asked " Which one ???" Council engineers advised that completion was still a few months away. What a long job ! Still its a good cache spot so we'll all have to wait a bit longer.
Had a bit of a look here today..... There's no way the work will be finished by Christmas.......GZ is still fenced in.
And yet the work goes on all be it at a snails pace. But when it is finished it will be spectacular.
As noted in my disabling log the reconstruction of the Coast Highway is a major job. GZ is inside the temporary fencing of the construction site. Earthwork problems have been encountered and the job is taking much longer than originally planned. Even more than an extra 28 days.
In the mean time Temingi has over 100 caches along the Capricorn Coast that haven't been disabled.

Shut down this one as it's fenced off for reconstruction of the Coast Highway.
May be down for a couple of months.

The third and final cache within walking distance of our house, sought out on a pleasant Anzac Day afternoon of geocaching with the kids and our friends the Masons. Our only DNF out of the three (well, you know what Meatloaf says). Not 100% sure, but I suspect that GZ may be inaccessible due to the temporary fencing erected for the current roadworks.

From this position I can "See Canoes" !! and I can find the cache.
Thanks Temingi.
Thanks Temingi.
Found it, mostly by reading 1957chev log - thanks for that by the way great spot for the cache, all is well here, lots of muggles tho, so caution is required.
Found this one a little exposed so tried to camouflage it. No one using the canoes at this time of day, but made for a great view. TFTC!

Great spot have driven past lots of times but never actually stopped here. Easy find.
Nearby roadworks didn't faze us as we parked the motorhome at the still open track to the beach. Though when we drove past the following afternoon it looked like it had been "netted off" again. T stars steered us towards our reward. Some sizable canoes parked here. Thanks for another Temingi.
cache find #3253 Being Mr GT54's birthday today, we decided to celebrate and some cache finds.
This one was on the list of to do's. MrGT54 did the honours and made his way to the cache. The cache guardians were very reluctant to let MrGT54 take the cache from the nest. Eventually he hd the log signed and returned the cache to the guardians. TFTC.

This is another cache that I've passed a few times and not had the intestinal fortitude to suggest stopping for a look. The luxury of an empty car, however, changed the dynamics and I was soon scrambling to GZ where the cache presented quite quickly at 17:15.
TNLNSL. Thanks Temingi.
PS: There was no sign of the From the land of the long white cloud trackable in the cache.

Fairly busy spot re passing traffic but thanks to the assistance and persistence from Ringo, managed to find cache.
Hi there Temingi. We found your cache "See Canoes" at 3:44:00 PM today.
This was our 1st cache find in a caching run of 2 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9827.)
[Blue]
We are trying to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us past some really wonderful & scenic locations.
We have just arrived in town after a long drive, so a quick and easy park-n-grab was called for - and this cache fitted the bill perfectly.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 9m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Toy Boat.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Klettercache and me are making a 5 week holiday in Australia and our route leads us from Sydney via Brisbane to Cairns. From Cairns, we are going to take a flight to Adelaide and from this city in Southern Australia we will continue our trip by train through the Nullarbor Plain towards Perth, where we will fly back to Germany.
During this second week of our stay, we drove a rental car from Sydney to the North and the trip will end up in Cairns next week. We have to drive really a lot of kilometers but there is always a possibility for a short stop to search for some caches. Luckily, lots of caches are placed at the rest stops where we need to stop anyway.
This day, we came back from Great Keppel Island (where weather was rather cloudy) and we headed towards the next accomodation further North which was not yet booked. We finally found a motel next to Marlborough which was far away from the luxury we were face at the Island.
This cache could be found right when leaving the ferry. This was the only cache this day as we had to continue our trip as long it was still bright.
Unfortunately, we did not have access to internet nearly the whole week so that we now need to do all the logs in one rush.
Individual logs can therefore only be made for some caches, e.g. when there is any reason for maintenance or for other reasons (like nice experiences).
Thanks to the owner for keeping and maintaining the cache.

Just one more before dark - just squeezed this one in. Precarious climb, some loose rocks but good hide. I found the cache while J salvaged some stainless steel screws from boat wreckage against the fence.
More TBs not logged out properly. None in the cache.
Took orange monkey, left gem.
