We checked our cache and was wrecked and wet so thought we would check this one since we know where it is and it also was gone.
Couldn't find this one as I didn't have a torch to help with the fading light. GPS was jumping all over the place here. Nice park and I'll be back in better light conditions.

I suspect this is long gone in the recent flooding. Lots of flood debris around. I believe I found the correct spot, but this cache as seen in the images would have been taken by the rapid waters.

I ignored my GPS and followed the caching trail instead, and made an easy find.
A pretty little spot, thank you .

Nice easy find this morning, lots of nice big paper bark trees, bank is nice and dry.TFTC
Geez this took a lot longer than it should have. Co-ords all over the place. Certainly was a slippery little sucker. TFTC.
Found after an exhaustive search. Like many others, we too were put off by the name and were just about to give up when it was finally spotted. Log was a little damp, bag nees replacing. TFTC
Plenty of Paperbarks around in this little park. The cache was spotted from some distance away and GZ showed signs of muggle activity. Cache proved to be in good order all the same.

The boys got distracted by the name also but I suggested look in there and bingo thanks
Found with Teambooo, Booo Booo and Glenwarra.
After exhausting the indicated GZ and widing the search area we soon spotted the cache... (This cache is really exposed and was easly spotted in the early evening light)

After our World in Union find, we stopped for a couple of quick ones in the area. I lead the way and pulled up in the carpark. While PPE worked out his GPSr that he's testing, I walked up and made the find. Nice quick one. SL, TNLN and replaced. TFTC.

What a forlorn little park, and yet it could so easily be an awesome spot perched there by the river. Found the cache with a minimum of fuss. Thanks Argeisia a Ca.
Another one to add to the list on a great day of caching out this way.

Christine Vista, Chook and I headed out to Wisemans for a day of caching and found this one as we were heading home. Found it once we reached GZ. TFTC.
Cache was seen from metres away, I don't think it was hidden correctly. Replaced camo as best as possible. TFTC

tftc tnln sl not so quick to find this one as gps was all over the place but found it in the end
Thanks for the Mothers Day picnic entertainment. Most of family enjoy looking for cache - up the hill (that’s my clue.)
Hmmm this will be fun; GZ is in the middle of a grassy area surrounded by lots of paperbarks. Based on the cache name, it must be in one of them.... nope! Eventually read the past logs and zoomed in on a better set of coords for an easy find - not in the paperbarks at all

Found it on our fourth attempt. The coordinates posted by Everlasting were very helpful - much more accurate than the original coordinates.
Have been research - read the previous' comment and photos. so come back with laptop. Sevabo found it and the coordinate is out of way.
We found the container at S33° 33.478 E150° 54.412. Thanks Argeisia a Ca.

While looking for In Loving Memory we also searched for this, but can't find it. After reading other logs we stopped looking at paperbarks and widened our search - still no luck. Is it still there?
Had a bit of trouble placing it back since muggles were here but they decided to cook up the ol' barbie and that kept them distracted.TFTC
Even our kids didn't prove to be the distraction we wanted from a very snoopy young girl. She watched our every move so replacing the cache proved to be very stealthy. TFTC
Sometimes the simplest of caches can prove difficult.
It wasn't difficult to find, or else we wouldn't have got it at all. There was a family parked close to GZ with a curious daughter, about six or seven years old. We got to GZ, realised they were there, and decided we would either wait or just leave this one. Then they wandered off.
Okay, a quick look about and we had the cache. I flipped the logbook to the WaywardWoman to sign, and just as she's signing it, the muggle family returns. I didn't want to return the cache, so I took it back to the car, grabbed my backpack, and came back, like we were off on a trek somewhere. So we went and did the other cache nearby (no problems there) and came back. I still had the cache in my backpack. I had a choice. I could either hope the large tree between me and the muggle family, and my own family, dragging the chain about 30 metres back and talking loudly would distract them enough for me to rehide it, or I'd have to take the bloody thing with me. Ironic - I'd be muggling a cache so it wouldn't get muggled.
I decided to risk rehiding it.
I'd already removed the geocoin from it, just in case. I think I did okay. We kept a short watch from the road, but the family didn't make any move toward the cache. If there are future DNFs or a long period of no finds, you might want to check, just to be sure. Sorry, they took us by surprise and we did our best. Hope it was enough. Thanks for your efforts.

Found on the first day of spring in a rather remote little park way out in Cattai!
Apart from the peripheral historical interest and some nice paperbark gum trees, there really isn't a lot to recommend this slightly run-down picnic area except that it's located right on Cattai Creek and has a boat launching ramp. Cattai National Park is nearby, however, and is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
The published cache coordinates are pretty good but you really won't need much help in finding this one. The hiding place will be fairly evident to you as you approach.
Cache container and contents were in good condition. Left 'Gingerbread Man' GC. TNSL.
Thanks to Argeisia a Ca for setting this one up!

I even put my hands in some scary places in the trees but still could not find it. The GPS was jumping around and finally I gave up. Thanks for bringing me here - the paperbarks are worth seeing.
This cache took us a little time to find, but we didn't let it bet us. past logs helped. TFTH...SL...TNLN

Having arrived at the carpark, we saw why the cache was called "Paperbark". Locating GZ was a bit of a problem as the signal to the GPS kept bouncing. When I did find the cache, I thought it was a bit far from the GZ so widen your search by 15m. TFTC TNLN

Geotooter and I pulled into the carpark and spotted the paperbark trees. My GPSr put GZ in the middle of a grassed area so realised we would need to spread our search to find this one. We checked all the likely places but could not locate the hide. After re-checking our search area and still no find, we broadened the search area again. This time Geotooter came up with the goods. I fugured my GZ was about 15m away from where the cache was found, probably due to the tree cover. With caching duties completed, Geotooter returned the container ready for the next Geocacher. Thanks for the hunt.

Found this one after leaving it the other day while in a hurry with a First to Find close by. The coorinates seem to be around 12 meters off. All 3 of my GPSs put me 12m north of the cache. TFTC
Found this one fairly easily, but so has the water. The log is soaked which made it very hard to sign the log. I managed the scribe my name through 2 or 3 pages.

A much easier attempt this time, as I had some hints from Rogpol at the Hills meet and greet a few hours earlier.

a combination of the cache name and our gps giving us an accuracy of 10m we were looking in the wrong spot, after searching around for a while we had the cache in view. once retrieved poor old geo-missus had some real trouble with the date, after the 3rd attempt at filling the log we made a few swaps for the kids and placed the cache back, we enjoyed an extremely relaxing day with the kids. Found after a short hunt in the general area. There was another car parked a little further along the creek, but we decided discretion was the better part of geocaching and let the folks well alone.

Nice simple find. It looks as though the cleanup is continuing in the reserve as some council vehicles were further down near the creek.

OK.. I admit it was my second time here.
The first visit was just a little frustrating as the coords pointed to a nice empty grassy space. The paperbarks have been well and truly cleared around, so I knew that there was no point in re-searching old ground.
This time I parked the car and left the hand held in the pocket and looked without it. The hiding place was just a little evident when looking a little further afield.
Surprise surprise.. its only about 11.6 metres off Must be the "nuvi" again

Found 21:05 arrived at GZ and there was a couple of cars with young blokes there, and we decided that it would be too risky to go for the cache, so I pulled up back on the main road, parked and while putting the next co-ordinates in the GPS, on came their lights and off they roared. We drove back into the car park and found the cache quickly. TNLN thanks.
For some reason I saw where the Cache was straight away but ignored it trying other spots first. After five minutes or so once they had been exhausted I thought I'd check it anyway and there it was. I still have no idea why I didn't check that spot first.

It was hot, it was not muggle free, it was no where to be found! At least by me today...
I thought I was a sure thing of making this my 1st FTF for the month! but alas some unknown cacher has beaten me to the loot.
I arrived to find a good place for a cache, the gate left unlocked but I parked outside just the same, not too far to walk.
I haven't been here for quite a few years, I've fished off the bridge here many moons ago and caught a Bass, if I'd had more time I would have explored a bit more, it seems the park goes down beside the creek quite aways.
The first to finder left their name off their log - I guess in their excitement of a maiden FTF. I have my hunches on who the unknown cacher is that took the FTF on this one, Congrats on the FTF whoever you are!
Nice work Argeisia a Ca I hope to see more of these in these parts TNLN TFTC

Ha Ha it was me!!!! Can't believe I forgot to put my name down though, guess the excitement went to my head. Went for a wander up and around and through a spiky bush, found at the original co-ords the typical cache mark of a pile of bark, moved it, and got covered in ant eggs. No love there. Went back to the start and decided to look in the more realistic spots, where would I put it??? And there it was!!! Bit weirded out by the half naked man lying under yonder tree though...
Found this morning by Littlebub. She will log her find tomorrow (hopefully).
Please let me know if I have correct co-ords now, as Littlebub let me know I was way off for this one.
