Proable piece of wood found with nothing in the drilled hole.

Probable hide found but no container.

What lovely trees in this area, great trail. Found object on track with hole, but no cache so figure its gone missing. Here with Mac Ross today.

Disabling until we return home (less than a couple of weeks - Mr Pud) to rectify.

Took the kids for a walk round the long way to wear off some sugar for this one

Mrs L didn't let us get tripped up by this one, cache located soon after. Nice hide . Took the opportunity to get some local resource (no. to construct extraction tool for dealing with 'Rex'.

Over ran it at first, easily spotted coming back. TFTC.

Headed off for a nice bush walk and soon spotted the spoiler photo post, not having a compass but a "Scout" he soon worked out where the right bearing was and had the cache in hand very quickly. Excellent camo and well crafted hide. TFTC

last day of our holiday. Found it without too much trouble. TFTC

This was our 2nd last find of the day, A lovely spot but my goodness, nearly gave up. found photo clue but certainly had to work for this. Just as I was going to throw in the towel, Nzkeko, who NEVER gives up, spotted "something". Unless you take really big steps I think it was more like 24 paces from clue. Had fun though, thanks

On that one we had a little bush bashing, Sefrican was going to give up when I almost accidentally stumbled upon it!
It is certainly further then the distance given in the hint unless the paces are from a giant
Surprising spot though and one would never know that place. Thank you for bringing us there.

Nice little walk for today

Fumbled around a bit looking for the hint. Missed the 'photo' but found another and worked off that then a quick find. Discovered 'photo' on the way back. Then back at the car Punga complains about an unusual odour, uh oh....the dreaded poo on the shoe again. Must be a dog walkies track! TFTC.

Nearly walked right pas it but lucky Mr Motorheads eagle eyes spotted something!

After a bit of debate about whether we were in the right place or not we finally found to spot to search ( we didn't have the post photo ). Once we located the correct post it was a relative easy search. Our co-ord showed cache GZ to 27 mtrs out with 7 mtrs accuracy. NINO TFTC

Last cache of the day, and a bit of a climb for someone claiming to be a bit of a temporary cripple GPS had all sorts of fun, luckily I managed to make sense of the clue and found it pretty quickly after that. Cheers Gav [4824]

Well hidden! 8th of 9 today and the last trad in Whakatane left polished off, tftc.

The first of 7 we looked at today, our niece found no problem, might have her hooked on cacheing!!

Seemed to be pointing into the gully about 15m so sat down to work out the clue......discovered my butt was 100mm from cache....doh.

Forgot to print out the picture clue, GPS wanted us to go off the ridge by ~20m. Easy find once we cracked the hint, great camo.

This find was almost luck! Lost GPS signal in the trees, missed the item in the clue, started backtracking and rummaging and found it! Instintive? Left a mico-nail TB. TFTC Felix!
