There has been pruning on the Norfolk pine and anything that was underneath it is gone. Probably best to archive this one and place another in the park elsewhere.
Found the label you put on the container, but no sign of the container itself. Signed the label and returned it to the position. Probably best check it hasnt been pinched. Tftc
Found the same as the previous cachers. Not sure if there is a proper box around here and didn't have a replacement with me. TFTC.
Hallo, auf einem Road-Trip über die Südinsel Neuseelands auch diesen Cache gut gefunden.
Only Found the description. Hope a Foto-Log will be ok.

Found with angelic_kiwi. It was sitting in the open, and looks like it had been there for a while as the log book bags were filled with water. Some of the vegetation has been cleared so returned it nearby cover. tftc
Came to Gore Bay again to see if we can find some caches. The Polish Troll is all good and happy. Thanks for this cache yobbonz.
Found this one out in the open so replaced where we thought it should go, as per the hint. All good with the cache. Lovely beach down here. TFTC
After the last cache it was a welcome relief to have a nice quick find here. The container was a bit damp and the replacement logbook too wet to sign, but the original one was dry enough for our signature. Laid everything out in the sun to dry for a while before replacing as found. tftc

Quick find here but the log is saturated. Dried out a bit, made a scribble (see photo), it may not last if it gets wet again. Apart from that, it lives on. TFTC yobbonz.
Day two of our road trip south, and first full day in Gore Bay. The whole tribe came down from our digs to the beach and they were dead keen on hunting out caches with RG72 and me. We found the first one, then they bumped into friends so RG and I made our excuses and made a decent effort to find the rest in the area, although not 100% successful.
Still, a good day out and wander down the beach.

Very soggy. Great trip down memory lane to the old waterhole with my boy. Wonder if it is still safe to swim? Spent many a hot summer day cooling off up here.

Pretty straighforward find here. Sadly the cache container was water logged and the log book was super duper wet. We pour the water out and tried to dry the contents bit. I think it may need some love and care.
If the neighbors doesn't know about this cache, it will be funny, as they will be wondering what these people are doing under that pine tree, sitting in weird poses, single, couple even in groups lol. TFTC.

A quick find after our walk plans were a bit too slippery for us. Had a nice walk on the beach instead.
Different colour container, but nice hide and easy find. Tftc.
Back on the Mainland, caching south with the wagging tails, in Van.
Happy New Year, and happy caching

Another one found whist out with Monson Clan and Warfi. Enjoying exploring the area.
Great day out. I can't remember the last time I have been here. Nice easy find, thanks
On our way to Kaikoura we stopped at Gore Bay for the night. I was just downloading the local caches when I hit a dead spot in mobile data so with nothing but some green dots on a blank map I attempted to find some caches. Going by the name of this one I set off from our camping spot and ended up going in a big circle via the stream and a bank but eventually figured out where I should be. Cache sense hit in and I soon spotted the cache. That was to be my only find of the night. Will come better prepared next time. TFTC
During our Trip to New Zealand we came to this beautiful beach. We had a nice walk around and come to this spot, thank you for showing us this place, we had no problems to find this one.
Thank you for the Cache.

Wow! Found right out in the open like a kid left their lunchbox under a tree. Hid it a little out of sight but still in line with the hint. Muggle kids had drawn lude pictures on the logbook so removed a few pages. Ain't no body got time for that!

LW and I wonder what the difference is between a Polish Troll and an ordinary Troll. However, found it and got another smile. TFTH
This month is Adrenaline Junkie weekend, given that I will not have much chance for caching thoughout the rest of September, Taybeedragon and myself are heading to the Hurunui. The plan was to bring Zara and make it an overnighter, but instead we just brought Toby for a day trip.
Would love to know why the cache name - the cache description does not say. Oh well. At first we thought this was going to be a phoenix palm hunt - the cache hidden in one of the nooks in the trunk of the palm. Glad it wasn't!

The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara and I are off to Cheviot for the weekend leaving early Saturday. Well that was the plan. A new plan emerged with a day trip to Cheviot with Toby and Zara resting up in Blenheim. Lets Go exploring the Hurinui.
Stopped of here to snag and tag this one. Thankfully nice and easy. Cheers

I set out at lunchtime for a bit of a drive (and to find a few caches, of course!).
I had never been to Gore Bay before, so it was good to explore a bit more.
Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, yobbonz

Quick find in this charming seaside village. A lovely detour off the main road.
We were looking for a walk to do and stopped here to read the signs. Not the walk we wanted but nice to get a cache while here. TFTC
Out on a Mad Monday Mission out this way mopping up some northerly caches. Lovely evening. Millions of stars before the moon rose.
Found the troll.
Thanks for the cache yobbonz.

It's been a while since we went for a nice long day of caching with sonia26642, so we decided that it was time to do it! We started nice and early and headed up north to target mainly those neither of us has found, and some odd one one of us has. We had an amazing day of adventures!! We have been signing the logs mostly as Team Polak to save time and log book space Thanks for all the great caches along the way!!!
Found by our friend when out caching with Graemey and Mrs Graemey after a picnic just along the road. Cache empty except for log book. TFTC- Nice hide.
An easy find, and covered better than found.
Amazing this is not muggled as was/is quite visible. Thanks

Quick easy find on a day trip to help support the Kaikoura economy via Gore Bay and Cheviot.
Out for the annual Boxing Day picnic and decided to pick up a few caches in the area.
A quick find as I walked off lunch.

T4TC. On our way to nzmega2016. Stopped here to entertain the kids in the nearby playground. Cache was totally wet, so we took it into our camper and dried it out before returning.
Quick easy find in the rain on our second day in Gore Bay, wow what a contrast of days! Yesterday was perfect today was awful! Thanks for the placement.
Our recent multi day Canterbury cache raid was so successful we decided to have another one before the holidays finished. Again we got stabbed, prodded, pricked and scraped by the variety of hedges the region is so famous for. And of course we can now hold our breath a lot longer. A skill well worth developing to avoid breathing in part of the road surface every time a vehicle passes. Just over 200 finds were logged this time and a great time was had finding the caches with a variety of shapes, sizes and placements. A big thank you to all COs who made this possible.
With a few more days of holidays left we decided to head south again and find some caches we didn't have time to look for last week, plus some more off the beaten track. This was one of 51 found today.
Thank you to all CO's who made this possible.

First wedding anniversary, and hubby and I had a mini getaway planned! Had some accommodation booked in the middle of nowhere, and decided on the way to stop a gore bay - this is where we met 3 years ago!!!
So after hanging around a bit, skipping out on the swimming due to the cold, and walking and talking, needed to get my cache for the day - preferrably two!!
This was number two - pretty quick and easy one here. Read the sign about the proposed development - will be a pity to the reserve! Hopefully they'll manage to retain most of it!!

Easy drive by. Fixed up the cover a little, looks like it had blown away. TFTC.
While staying in Gore Bay with friends we picked up this and a couple of others. TFTC.
Hmm not where the local trolls usually hide but found by MacPacSon on a caching detour on our way to the Picton ferry. TFTC yobbonz
JDscout and I biked to this geocache. We were staying at Gore Bay in our campervan with my eldest son.
