I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
There was work ongoing in the area when we left town two years ago. I've left a muggle in charge as she is part of the work team, and I cannot get hold of her just now. I am disabling pending a final decision - thank you to all who have hunted here, sorry to those who were disappointed.
GZ is currently a storage spot for maintenance stuff, green netting filling the base of the hint tree, didn’t realise there were so many DNFs here till I went to log mine I’ll throw a needs maintenance on this one I’d say the cache has been cleaned up
No luck for Kiwicampnut and I hereto day. Got talking to the person maintaining the area - she said there has been extensive digging in the area with drains being put in.
Rummaged with her permission as GZ is being used as a small storage area, but still came up empty handed

Lots of work done including drainage around what we took as gz. Not a thing to be found other than a hidden holly bush and plants being used to beautify the area
First day of a two day trip. Making the most of some days off before covid arrives in the South.
My 2nd cache for the day, no time for Rest just yet... had a great day out doing it.
*Found on a nice day going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*
We soon had the container located. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
Thanks for putting this out for us to visit!

Interesting spot. Found the grave of someone we knew who didn’t realised was buried here. Walked up to the other part of the cemetery. Tftc
Another one tagged on our way to Gore. Cheers.
Friday 13. Balcultha to Gore and back. Another long day with Gore on the agenda. But got sidetracked with back to basics with the ABC series. So lets hit the road!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

On a trip up north from Invercargill, thought I'd grab a couple of caches here, as had passed on numerous times. This the first, an easy find cache all good. Though I thought maybe it had been disturbed at first as there was a lot of earthworks going on, looks like there will be an upgrade/cleanup of the area. tftc
I'm catching up on my logging which seemed to have stalled even though we have been in lockdown, my excuse is that I have been working throughout.
Found on our homeward leg. All good at GZ, a bit wet under foot.
This started out as a Geocaching road trip to Invercargill to drop off some stuff for the niece and collect some other stuff for Mrs banian. It turned into a bit of a race back to Wellington to beat the Covid-19 lockdown.
We were able to rebook our Ashburton accommodation and ferry ticket to earlier in the week. When we arrived in Picton the vehicle queue was almost a kilometre long, and got longer behind us. Fortunately, as we had tickets we were still able to get on our sailing and made it back before "Level 4" kicked in.
Be nice and keep safe! TFTC Pukekos from Pukerau.

I've just been told that trees were felled here yesterday (25/10/2019). Mr. Pukeko has investigated and said that there are no trees left! I will investigate today, and either re-hide or archive. Apologies to those who have it on their to-do- list for today.
was pretty exposed so put a bit of covering on it to stop the muggles from finding it TFTC
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 11 Gore to Dunedin 23 caches found. GPS had me going around in circle before I made the find. Thank you for the placement

Off to kaka point on a beautiful autumn day. Finding a few caches along the way! TFTC
A week away down south and a chance for some caching. Was a nice and easy find this with the hopes of lots more. TFTC
My second cemetery find this morning. A few of the trees have been felled but right at GZ.
Tyfc... Much like the other poster, couldn't find the volunteer no drain one app was happy to find this
Didn't take much hunting to find this one. Log is a little damp and could use a resealable bag FTFC
Found alongside Hevic on the way back from our Fiordland trip. We couldn't not clean out the town of caches, so we headed around to nab this one. An elusive little blighter it was - after scratches aplenty we discovered that we were in the wrong spot. It became a very quick find afterwards as it was a little exposed - Hevic partially covered it over with natural coverings once we'd signed, sealed, and replaced it. Cheers!
Nice sunny day!Cache a bit wet but exactly where l thought it would be.This is our 121th cache!
The bunnies must like the plastic box because we found it uncovered too. SL, added a pencil and sharpener and grabbed the goodies in a new bag. Returned with some cover. TFTC
Easily found out in the open. Have re-covered. Nice to see Gore Dist Council taking H&S seriously( tongue in cheek).
Lucky it was a quick find after walking through the cemetery to get to gz. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc Pukekos from Pukerau. Find # 3813
I tried not to disturb the residents here while locating the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
OMG bunnies, suddenly, everywhere!! Bundles of fluff caught hopping away in the headlights as I maneuvered car into park. Was approaching dusk when I zeroed in on this one. Note to self, Don't buy the cheap batt's for torch again. Nice big green thing at GZ to look into, cache soon in hand. Though too dark to notice any mushrooms and little much of the scratch around. Cache log signed and hide cover reacquired. [Ahem] user Kiscardi was the most recent to sign log [Ahem]. TFTC
Nice quick hide. Was almost given away by a couple of loose sheep who didn't want to let me pass into the gate without them.
The cache and log was a little wet.

Geograndad was determined to find this one and after rooting around for a couple of minutes, he most certainly did find it. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
6324. A nice easy find in spite of the GPS indicating a wee way away today. Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
After some hunting (GPS sending me all over the place) made the discovery and logged find, TFTC
We passed this place on our holiday tour through NZ. Found this box during a short break
