It might be time to archive this one, if it's not going to be replaced. It's now over 18 months since it's been found.

Jase and Deano had a quick look before the End of Year event cache.
Can confim it wasn't there.
Will come back for the find when it is "re-installed".
Thanks PK, now we know where we'll have to look.

22-Oct-05
Attempted this one at 1430 on 22 October 2005 but no luck.

Given difficulty rating and container size it should have been in the obvious spot but wasn't.

Just possibly may well have been muggled

Might be worth a visit Wanderers

This has to be the most unexpected cache location. Ingenious or should we say hilarious!!
Thanks Wanderers for your sense of humor and a lovely place for a "much appreciated cuppa".
Took: Torch.
Left: Smiley Face Stress Ball.
Roma & Max.

We weren't cheating on this one. We just happened to follow into the area PK & Mikita.

We'd been past only a few weeks earlier when we went around the 2003 Winter Event run in the Pyrenees nearby but due to a local fair going on weren't able to get very close...

A very clever hiding spot & a great stopover after a long day trip!!! Thankyou!!!

Took boat keyring.
Left Torch.

I must confess to cheating on this one. This is the first cache that we ever saw back in June 2003 when tagging along with TheRatPack. As such, I knew what I was looking for but it was a bit of fun watching Alsume do the search.

Once found we sat in the shelter (which lived up to its name as it was absolutely teaming) and filled in the log book at 16:00.

Silvester, ICE Beetle and Chaos Kids had a look but decided to continue on. TNLN.

Thanks 'Wanderers'.

Found with EuDes at approx 4pm. An amazing & imaginative location for a cache - we all laughed when we found it.

Took Bart Simpson
Left Bouncy ball and tiger

Thanks Wanderers

The kids ran straight to this one from the car. Visited the cache with The Rat and Phillipl. Ended up in the pub across the road. Very friendly. Have a look to see who the local footy team mascot was back in the mid-60's! Initial's TL.

21-Mar-04
Found it at 1.00pm after going right to the spot and Veronica looking where no-one else thought of looking. Mikita and PK were not at home so we missed out on a chat and catch up from the Crooked River Camp Out on the March long weekend.
Took - Traqvel Bug
Left - Long nosed pliers.

Thanks Mikita and PK - great idea.

21-Feb-04
After a great morning caching we stopped in to thank M & PK for the event - sorry we where 6 months late. Thanks for the coffee and chat, found this cache very near by, brillent idea, loved it.
Swapped TB for sun glasses
Thanks Wanderers

Found at 14:42hr, after deposting #1 in the nearby pub in the hope of someone else being able to find a cache. #2 and #3 set out with infinite confidence. Upon arriving at gz we thought we had found it several times only to be disappointed, the confidence was waning. Spotted the telltale signs and loved the cache. Took bowling game left dove jewellery box and pulling strings.
Thanks for a novel cache.

And here we were wondering where you were going to hide a 10lt bucket around here! Took guide dog puppy, left canon pen. Thanks Wanderers.

15-Jul-03
Very easy find but a really cool geocache! Excellent idea

15-Jul-03
(aka lisa and jeremy) we found this one with stumpyspud Smile

12-Jul-03
Found at 2:20pm, while Muzza and Kiwideb went off visiting. This was easily found as a pen was at GZ. I really like the way this one was hiden, and was thinking of doing something like this myself -now I can see how to to make it work. Swapped a NSW SES patch (out) for a guide dog puppy (in). Thanks Wanderers for being imaginative.

Having had a great days caching, been taken to have a good pie, Mikita tops it off with another great cache. Kiwideb and I combined to find this cache with a little help. And to complete perfection I was able to swap the electronic brick game. Took a powerlead, which I still have no idea what it is for Smile
Many thanks Mikita and Pyrenees kid. It was a great weekend.I'll bring popcorn next time [:o)].

21-Jun-03
On a 4x4 weekend caching day and was driven here by Biggles Bear with Muzza and team Boodi.
Didn't take team boodi and I to find the cache. What a fantastic cache. I loved it.
Swapped a padlock for a candle.

Many thanks for the end of a wonderful day.

09-Jun-03
Fantastic! We drove through on our way back from the Grampians towards home and this was a perfect spot to rest and test out the accuracy of our Gecko 201, and of course the cache was found just as I was about to give it up for lost.

Left the baby in the cannister and took a New Year's cracker.

25-May-03
We drove through here last year sometime and didn't even come close to finding this one ... of course, we're now kicking ourselves we missed it! Just brilliant. Took a christmas stamp and left a candle, then popped round for a lovely chat and a coffe with Pyrenees Kid, Mikita and family. Thanks for the laugh, and the hospitality!!

Lucky I had my palm pilot to see where I was going !

Found by Team GeoCoopers.
What a great spot for a cache.
Saw it from the road but let Piggy have a bit of a look around for it letting him in on the secret.
We'll have to use this technology somewhere over here in Adelaide. It's terrific...

Found 15:40, undoubtedly the most interesting cache location that Biggles Bear has ever come across. If only there were more caches like this to find! Thanks to all the wanderers for a great afternoons entertainment.

Took Tictacs and left two colour Christmas stamp.

04-Nov-02
Great hiding spot we had quite a laugh when we discovered it. Took the coloured pens and left the six continents cap. Thanks Wanderers.

I thought when I started looking for this one that I must have punched in the wrong co-ordinates in my GPS. After checking this, and resetting my GPS, I started looking in earnest for the cache and with a little bit of luck, I located it shortly afterwards.

Ingenious method to secrete the cache, although I can't understand why no non-cacher hasn't found it. I took the batteries and left a pack of coloured felt pens.

Well done, Wanderers. Great Cache!

First of five found today by geofreak and pjb no exchange was made. This one gives you a small insight into the mind of the wanderers !!

06-May-02
Found at 1730 by Mary & David, at the end of a long drive back from Adelaide to HX. Carefully avoiding the gaze of a council worker watering nearby gardens, we quickly found the right area and then the cleverly placed cache. No exchanges made. Well done Wanderers

We pulled up to a very neatly kept park and sat in the car wondering how could you possibly hide a 10 litre bucket in this park?
Well lets go look anyway so we followed the gps and sure enough there it was.
What a great hiding spot.
No exchange.

06-Apr-02
How do you hide a 10l bucket in a public place???
Visit this one to find out.
Found by Kevin & Meredith at 2.40pm
Very clever location and a good spot to rest.
Also an historic area - well worth the visit
Our 3rd for the day.
Also lucky enough to meet Wanderers and have a chat.
This is 1st time we have met and talked to another Geocacher!!!
Took safety glasses - left (I can't remember)

Good one

What a spot!!!! An ingenious location. We were tempted to knock on the door, but time was getting away from us.
Took the paint brush and left an SES badge and some party poppers.
Keep up the good work.

What a beauty!! This is the first cache I've found without any assistance - couldn't believe the location. I mean, seriously... how many places can you a 10L bucket?! The only problem, I wasn't able to put the lid back on (lacking the strength and agility!!) - but it should be ok. Swapped a pair of sunglasses for a keyring.

This was a brilliant one - great way to finish an Easter weekend of caching!

What a great Idea for a cache! Simone, Darren And Peter (his first ever geocaching adventure) found this on the way to the Grampians for Easter. While we were looking in bushes and other common places for a cache, Peter spotted it.

Took an elastic cable and put in a Power Puff keyring (Bubbles no less!).

Found by Ross, Dave and Ian.

Excellent idea. Good finish to a full day of cache hunting.

19-Nov-01
Found on 19/11/01 using a borrowed gps as we had left ours home (thanks Nomads). Like others we spent some time looking in the obvious (but wrong) places before finally having success. It was a great idea for a cache. We hope to get back to the area in the near future to see if your others are as ingenious as this one. Nothing was exchanged. Greg and Bev

What a ripper. My daughter found it. The rest of us were too busy looking under bushes!!!!! Terry loved the little truck and so we swaped a cig lighter to DC plug adaptor for it. The biggest thrill for Amy was finding it....I gota admitt, is the most orignal cache we have ever seen Big Grin!

Ben, Freddy, Amy and Terry.
P.S. Thanks for the tip about the park, we had lunch there and were very greatful for the wind break, it was pouring rain, howling gale and freezing cold!!!

22-Oct-01
Had to make a dash back to Ballarat and decided we couldn't let this one go. Once again the co-ords were spot on. It didnt take us long to find this one but WHAT A FIND! This is a beauty. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!!!! Great work by the Wanderers. Found it around 11pm and then headed home to Echuca. It's 2am and I'm logging a cache. Do I need help???? Smile

20-Oct-01
Found by Ray and Maya on Saturday the 20th of October at 5:20PM. This was our fifth cache for the day and ended a fun day of travelling and caching. A very good location, most original. We took a roll of sticky tape and left a wallet and a packet of tic-tacs. Thank you Wanderers for your effort in placing this, and the other three of your caches we found today. (And thanks again for dinner) Ray and Maya. (Nomads)

This was a great one to top off a fun days caching. Got there just on dark and had to spend 5 minutes looking aroud. It cant be that hard I kept telling the kids. Well done for thinking this one up. It would have to be one of the best hides I have come across. Thanks for putting in the effort.
Took nothing, the kids have enough toys, left a blank CD.
Jess, Zach and George.
