Heading south and homewards to Sydney after a short casual geocaching visit to the Mid North Coast. We had a DNF here in December 2018 and nothing has changed. We failed to find anything of use at the calculated coordinates for WP1. We will go back to the drawing board and see what we can think of. Cheers Gaztek
I knew what was needed, but just could not get things to to equal. So i got some help to finalise. A quick find once at gz, though it is in a place i feel is very unlikely to be a hide for a cache. TFTC.
Found on our way to a nearby camping event .thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
A couple months ago, we finally managed to solve the puzzle after working on it on and off for years (with a bit of a nudge).
We visited here a couple weeks ago and despite a long search, we were unable to locate WP1. Today, we decided to visit again and with a lot of help from a PAF, finally had our name in the logsheet which thankfully, was in good condition. WP1 should be checked.
Thanks for the cache Grahame Cookie

Have wrestled with this one on and off over time and have finally managed to find it. A cache hidden on Xmas Day is a rare thing so it was good to find one reasonably close to home.
Collected this puzzle cache today after solving the first waypoint at home. The GZ took us a little longer to locate, but finally got there. TFTC Cookie. A favorite point for the interesting multi step puzzle.
Nice to finally come and have a go at this. The magnet at WP1 is loose and could use some glue to ensure it stays fixed to its container. WP2 in great condition. TNLN TFTC
Left the puzzle at home and made this a little harder.
But PDG made the Find as we looked for the hint.

On our road trip to Kempsey with caching buddies. A stop to finish off a solved puzzle. Found with TC, TB, PDG. No sales, so quiet. TFTC
With PDG and in convoy with Brewmaker and Team Canary.
I always prefer word puzzles over numbers but this one is 50/50 so still enjoyable.
No animals around today and no muggles either

On our way to The Hawaiian Shirt Event so we stopped on our way to have another look for this cache. Previously we had found WPT 1 but that was where we stopped, today armed with some added hints we were able to locate this cache.
Coongoola had passed us on the highway so followed us to this location where we took a small break.
So glad to now have this one crossed off our list.
Thanks for placing this cache Grahame Cookie

On our way to Grub Freds event down past Gloucester and we literally run into Bill & DiMorgan on the highway near Taree. So off we go following them and grabbing a cache before heading back to the service centre for lunch. Log may be stamped Coongoola or small logs signed CG. SL

Stopped & had alook for this one over a couple of days but was unable to find it.
Located WPT but that was as much as we achieved.

We solved the puzzle before we came to Taree from Sydney. Got to WP1 and were put off by the warning signs and the last log that reported engagement with security. We didn’t spot anything obvious without doing a close search so decided to check it on. Will watch with interest. Cheers... Gaztek
I really liked the puzzle and drove to WP1 today with no-one around and parked quite close to where I needed to look, but noted the new signs indicating the place had 24/7 CCTV and was being watched. I had only been looking for a few minutes when a car drove up and a not happy driver started questioning me. He was not overly impressed by my explanation of why I was there and suggested I leave immediately, which I did. I guess I won't be back, the experience was very unpleasant. Should the cache attributes include private property?
After spending an enjoyable Easter weekend at the Morisset Mega event it was time for Swellerfungus, Dez (JezNDez), IolantheK, Ms Krankenwagen and my daughter and I to head back to Brisbane.
Swellerfungus and I (in the company of Crookedpete) managed a DNF on this cache last time we were down this way back on 14/3/15 (my how time flies!!). Passing by again on the trip home we were keen to try our luck again, noting that the container had indeed been missing on our previous visit, rather than tired eyes and brains letting us down.
Being Easter Monday, there were no muggles in attendance at the sales yard today. Of course the waypoint calculations were missing from my notes so we had to do the calculations again for the 2 WPs, but at a familiar GZ a cache container was indeed waiting for us this time round. Glad to be able to convert this to a smilie after 3 years. TFTC

On our way back to Brisbane after the Oz GeoMuster and a little detour was in order here. This was a nemesis cache for Seff (seffnjarah) and Swellerfungus as they'd been here just over 3 years ago with Crookedpete on a Bromance roadtrip and had a DNF. IolantheK and I were reminded on more than one occasion that the cache had been confirmed missing that time .
In a rare glitch in the J.E.F.F app, the WP information was not readily to hand, so we did the full cache experience here with Fungus finding the WP, and we quickly had a nice looking set of coords. On arrival at GZ I went round the wrong side but could see something distinctly cache-like. Seff and IolantheK were straight onto it and soon had the container in hand. TFTC

Time to turn that frown upside down.
When Seffnjarah, crookedpete and I were here three years ago we had a DNF. Passing through on the way home from the Mega we thought it time to try again. After the shakes and thumb sucking subsided, we set about the process once again. We made good work of it, and ended up own the same spot, This time the cache was there! Woohoo. Thanks for the fun!

I've been at the OzGeoMuster event in Morisset, but it's now time to travel back to Brisbane with Swellerfungus, in the company of our travelling buddies Dez from JezNDez, seff and seff junior from seffnjarah, and Ms Krankenwagen.
The fellas were very keen to visit this one as they have had a DNF here before. I think they were rather relieved that he had been confirmed as missing! They explained the puzzle, and we wandered over to their starting point and made the find of the WP. Details noted and we headed over to their final spot, to discover the cache exactly where expected. TFTC, Graham Cookie.

TFTC, I have been trying to get this one for a while but every time I turned up there was some farmer types around, today the place was empty so I zoomed in for the quick find.
In the company of pprass
Finally I eventually found this cache with the help from pprass. The last time we came the cache wasn't there, so it was nice to get a smilie today good job with the construction of the cache, it won't be going anywhere. TFTC cookie

Finally found this sucker after getting confirmation of WP1 still being there after missing this one on two look attempts turned out it was right in front on my nose LOL
Dropped a new box in at WP2 at 2015.
WP1 is still there.
All good to go, but will need to print off a Stash Note some time.

Austrees and I are on our way to a family reunion in the Hunter Valley. Had solved the long division before the rip, so dropped in to get the rest. Unfortunately, no luck. Will email CO with our thoughts as it hasn't been found for some time.
Attempted this puzzle in the early evening after a completely crazy day caching on a weekend road trip with SeffnJarah and Swellerfungus.
And what a busy weekend it was too! The tally board included a few scratches, 11 hours sleep, 1760 kms driving, a dozen eggs, a couple of kilograms of bacon, 73 finds (including 1 event, 2 souvenirs, 2 letterboxes, 3 earthcaches, 4 completed challenge caches, 3 T5's) and a completed DT grid. Best of all, there was whole bellyful of laughs and lots of good humoured banter.
After completing a 5/5 right on dusk, we ventured to the Coopernook pub for a feed. For some reason, the kitchen was already closed at 8 pm on a Saturday night! Go figure! So a feed at the highway service centre was followed by some caching before we headed further north on the highway. We had solved this puzzle before the trip and found ourselves nearby on finishing a local challenge. So we ventured for a look. We found the waypoints without trouble and did the calc's for the final. Our final location closely matched the hint, but after an extensive search, no cache was found.
Nice to meet you today, Grahame. Thanks for an interesting puzzle.

We attempted this one tonight and got to the final location. That's where it ended for us. We think we know where it is supposed to be, but sadly no cache.
The last find on a mini caching trip. The area was totally muggle-free by the time I got there, well into the night. The rain was sporadically teaming, then gone, but there was a continuous river of brown flowing out of the yards past WP1. I had to damage some spider's home to get the clue for WP2 and then made it to the car just before the next downpour. Found the cache in the next dry spell but although it was in a spot that fitted the hint, I doubt it's right. it was floating upside-down in the stream, behind a little bush. The insides were slightly damp, but ok. I returned it rightside up. Might be worth checking GC, if this isn't as intended.
Thanks for little puzzles and interesting hide GC.

Despite being a monday we headed on in and found the place almost empty. A quick look at WP 1 we found the required information and headed off to the nearby GZ where we made a quick find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Finally after a few years I have finally found it! It was the perfect time as webb bro's have stopped work. So I arrived and foun the cache. The last cache has been muggled and it just had a log sheet in it. I couldn't sign it as there were no pens so I took a picture for verification. Thanks for the cache.
Woooohoooooo. I'm not sure how many times I've called in here over the last couple of years. Even just last week I drove past both before and after an appointment, only to find heaps of people milling around. Well, today it must have been the rain that kept 'em all indoors. I was finally the only one here. I drove around until I found what I was looking for, beforw jumping out in the rain. It's a wonder this cache is still, being where it is.
All high and dry though.
Thanks Cookie, so glad to have this one off the radar.

While I had weekend to myself I thought I'd get a local cache. This one I'd solved a while ago, but was waiting for a non-local to grab it from it's hibernation.
No activity in the yards this morning, so was able to find WP1 unhindered, then on to the cache.
Dry and intact.
Took: a cow (yep, a cow, not a bull)
TFTC puzzle (that had my brain cells buzzing) Cookie

No GPS. Read through the clues and got this one TFTC cache perfect condition thanks Cookie
The wood supporting the cache container had gone, so I have replaced it. Hopefully good for a bit longer
I made all the calculations, I did all my sums, I even carried the 1. Then I mis stepped at WP1 and after a txt to the CO, was told I was in the right place. Came back today and then went to GZ. After another call to make sure I was in the right place, we realised that the cache is missing based on where I was looking. Oct 2010 was the last find, 2 years and 3 months unfound, no wonder. The CO will check and I hope to get back to the area to log a find sometime. Thanx for the puzzle GC.
On a Monday, and too many muggles about to make a real search, but I still couldn't find anything magnetic and reflective.
Another day.
Another day.
Have adjusted the D/T rating a notch each. Difficulty in finding a time when there are no muggles - tho the owners are definitely aware and have approved of the cache; and it seems the maths is a long forgotten art.
And Terrain, I really don't think an athletic wheelchair bound person would be able to get the GZ cache, they may be able to get WP1, but that is suss.

This is the first time that I had actually driven in here to look for this. After I gave up, I noticed a bloke loading a truck but he didn't seem to be fussed by me. My car is now covered in moo poo and stinks, as I drove up to my first waypoint
There's always next time!
There's always next time!
Ready to be logged again, but don't forget Sunday arvo, Monday, and often Friday's are loading/sale days.
On way home replaced the cache with a new/improved cache. Ready to find using same clue.
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
What are the locals, or muggles, or pirating geocachers doing?
I'll be back !
Waypoint 1 is definitely missing, but unable to check the cache with the market in progress.

Clever man Cookie.
We had all but given up before putting all the pieces together.
Took merino and left markers

We greatly enjoyed doing this cache! There were no muggles about only a handfull of cows. Love the second waypoint! Very tricky without the clue! Took the sheep geocoin. Recommend doing this one on a Sunday morning. TFTC
Couldn't work this one out to start with. Didn't have a clue how to do the long division (I've always sucked at it). Just about to leave and stumbled across wp1 using the clue. Thanx for the xtra hint. From there it was plain sailing (or walking). Took black and white cow, left batman collectable magnet.
I had been looking at the puzzle for this cache since it was posted, but long division made no sense at school let alone now and with no numbers given. The saleyard was empty today although I did get asked if I was ok by a worker while entering the final co-ords into my gps. "Yes thanks I'm fine!" Thanks GC for the hint on solving the puzzle. Took easter egg, left fuse pack and allen key.
Stopped by thinking today is Tuesday - shouldn't be any sales. WRONG! Lots of muggles everywhere! Didn't even stop the car! Will have to come back when it is quiet.
Had fun finding this one today as part of our easter weekend- all straight forward though (once we remembered how to do long division).
Took Tb and left a Sheep geocoin.
Also left an easter present for the next person to find, no its not chocolate, but instead an UNACTIVATED geocoin inside a plastic easter egg- enjoy. Check the GillyGang Myall Mayhem cache- also has a present.

Outside the cattleyard gates I sat and pondered the puzzle.
It didn't take long to discover the whereabouts of waypoint 2
But I only got as far at the big sign at the gate..... I wasn't AUTHORISED to pass [:o]
What now ?
There was just me and someone who worked there at this early hour of the morning and I didn't think I could sneak around unnoticed [:o]

Found at 2.45pm GAFF5 for the 1st WPT and GAFF1 for the final. After a reasonable (ordinary) lunch at the Harrington Bowls club - at least the view was spectacular, looking over the river inlet - we headed off to find this cache. The puzzle was worked out after a bit of trial and error and then after wards (after the cache was found) it was realised that the hint just about gave it away.
At WPT1 we were challenged by a cowboy in a ute which had cups over the twin exhaust, holding a piece of orange conduit wanting to know what we were upto. We said just looking and whether this was private property. He said that trucks would be rolling up with stock and that yes it was private property, but we could go on and have a look - I think he just needed to have a chat to people rather than just talking to the cattle!
So it was quite awkward searching for the first container with this guy watching - and then to make matters worse his mate joined him as well - another cowboy with an even bigger stetson than the first! I guess we are in the country now - yee ha! The cache was found after a prompt/push/tell and then off to the final and you wouldn't believe it but this huge bloke in a station wagon pulls up and parks just 10 metres from GZ - hello everyone - this is Valentines Day - just go off and romance your bride will ya! So we gingerly looked around and after a few moments found the cache in a very bold and exposed spot which we dismissed on arrival.
Thanks Grahame Cookie for the entertainment and the puzzle. There must be a mathematical formula to solve that in 30 seconds somewhere!

Great puzzle GC and I discovered that sunday arvo is also quite busy.
TNLN and had an enjoyable search amidst the lowing of the cattle.
