What an afternoon, I've been here before but didn't have the chance to do a full Thresher explore. The dam is full whereas last time the water level was a good meter below the wall. We spent quite a bit of time here to ourselves while having some afternoon tea on one of the boulders and listening to the frogs. We wandered over to the wall and spent a bit of time there watching the sun slowly move through the late afternoon clouds. Curious, we wanted to see the waterfall after hearing it from the wall so we made the trip through the very overgrown tracks. We eventually found the track that took us directly to it after much bush bashing and was stunned at how amazing it was. The sun was setting at this point so we pushed our way back to find this cache, which it was dark at this point. We made the find and signed the log under our phone's lights, a great day was had. TFTC!
Wow, another case of we would never have known about this if not for geocaching! Great walk around, saw lots of black cockatoos. Surprised to see another car here when we arrived and another car when we left.Great views, nice easy find!Headed back in with the treadlies to do a bit of mountain biking on the Turner Hill tracks, great fun and a few caches to add to the fun.Thank you mackerals for placing and maintaining Okely Dokely for us and others to find and enjoy!
Today Taurus Six and Intend making the most of being in the Dwellingup area. After heading up here after work yesterday and staying at a nice little Airbnb for the three days of the public holiday , we absolutely love the area. The morning has started well with beautiful weather and a nice breeze to keep things a bit cool. We love the surrounding bush and forest and are enjoying collecting all the caches spread throughout. Today we are focusing on the caches to the north of Dwellingup and are enjoyed being immersed in the bush with all the bird life around. We always get surprised when we come across mining operations in the bush until you are upon them you would not know they are there and then we realise how enormous they are. We are specifically enjoying the OTH series and all in all its a great day for geocaching. This is our eleventh cache find of the day along these beautiful back roads around Dwellingup. Wow we loved this area. We went down the wrong track first for a few hundred metres before realising but that was ok because it was a nice walk anyway. Once on the right track we meandered our way to the gz. There were a few friendly ants around but a good hint soon had cache in hand . Thanks for the cache .
TFTC. Enjoyed the walk and the wildflowers and made a quick find Added a favourite point for the location!
What a hidden gem this place is! Absolutely beautiful, with water flowing over the weir.

Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.
Stopping a few days in Pinjarra after completing maintenance on our own caches yesterday we had a look to see what else was around for us to search for. We noticed the series in/around Marrinup and also that our geo buddies iluvtrekking had not logged these caches either. So a late night message what you up to tomoorw
With a plan for a meetup for coffee before caching it was an early start for us to seek out caches they had found previously. Damp grey start to our morning and we forgot to grab our jumpers on our way out! [:o)]
Coffee and breakfast completed off we set for a fun day with quality caches. Great fun the boys even jumped on the geobikes to tackle POW7 to POW13 which was a bit treacherous with the ebikes rather than mountain bikes, they survived the journey with just a bit of bark off.
Lunch in the forest before moving on to the OTH series. All in all a great day of great caches in great company. Plenty of fave points flying out the door today.

Returning from an overnighter in Albany and decided to make a few detours along the way to cleanup some green dots.
Thanks for the find.
Thanks for the find.
Down in Wagin this weekend for the marshmallows event at Lake Norring. Stopped at a number of towns on the way through to clean up new dots that have recently emerged. Cheers mackerals!
Had to do this one even though it was out of my comfort zone as far as the terrain went. I have a granddaughter named Oaklee so this was for her. Great spot. Thanks to CO’s for placing and maintaining this cache
Spent a lovely day out with the family at this location. Took quite some time to get to GZ with a clumsy two year old. My partner, god bless him. Dragged the pram the entire way there. ‘Just in case’ oh my gosh what an adventure.
Thanks so much for the hide cache in great condition.

Not a soul in sight during a Friday lunch time visit. We stumbled across this place after seeing the it had cache close by!
We enjoyed a skinny dip prior to a nice hike around the area where we promplty found the cache safe and sound. What a beautiful view, thank you Mackerals!

Thanks for placing this cache here taking us to this interesting spot. I’ve seen photos of this place but newer known the location. I walked the circuit around the dam to the cache. Almost stopped half way by a stand off with a stubborn lizard that wouldn’t move off the track.
This made for an awesome little hike, especially with the wildflowers out! We dropped some stickers and a travel bug off!
Found it on the way home from camping in the hills with my kids. Beautiful spot
After two previous unsuccesful attempts found it very quickly today in a spot where I had looked on both previous occasions.
Success at last. TFTC and hopefully catch up soon.

A nice trek in the bush, led us to this one. I used to come here as a kid. Thanks for the memories, and thanks for the cache!
We came at this one from the complete wrong direction. But that gave us a good excuse to do a complete lap of the dam, including walking (carefully) across the dam wall. TFTC mackerals
No luck today. On my hands and knees and I still didn’t find it. Too many grass trees.
Had a lovely walk here but was a bit disappointed we couldn't get down to the water from the side where the cache is. Cache was difficult to find but definitely there! You just have to pick the right one and look deep. TFTC,
Nice easy find and great end to a glorious day watching the sun setting over the ocean in the distance.
A quick find with Skyryser. Out and about with the 4WD club. Tftc The-Shredder
Found on the 2nd of January 2017... a few rustles in the bush kept us on the look out!!
Found during our little geoweekend in the Pinjarra area . We enjoyed the walk & the scenery here. SL TFTC mackerals
Originally logged under family caching name, clan-wallace, now relogging under my own name.
What a wonderful place this is! Having trudged up the hill track we were amply rewarded not only by the cache, and the wonderful view, and a strong desire for a dip. TFTC and bringing us here!
Here we are baking in the sun in another idyllic spot. Little did we know what the weather had in store for us in the next half an hour. TFTC
Another wonderful spot and a great cache, we got pretty hot after the previous cache on the huge rock, but I was the only guy and had no bathers!
Anyway a great spot and thanks for bring me to this side.

After finding Okely View we crossed the dam to get the next one. Having taken the short mountain goat trail down I was in the lead which meant I was the first one to reach the cache. Had a fair idea of its hiding spot but which one was the question and number 3 was the answer. SL for us all (you found it you signed it) and left a TB, hoping to bring others to this lovely hidden spot. Took some photos nearby and enjoyed the view. Sadly had come prepared for caching and now swimming or I would of jumped in. Was lovely here and had just got a tad warm little did I know what was about to hit in the next 30mins and that this would be my last cache for the day. Luckily for me it was a lovely spot to round up a great days caching. TFTC mackerals
Took a muggle friend for a look at the country above the Refinery. Great place to explore and go bush walking. Great views of the Refinery from the dam wall. Found after a short search. The dam would be inviting on a hot day!
Yet another place we hadn't visited before so thanks for planting your cache here in this wonderful forest.
Found with my family (jasenjanine) on a drive around the area... TFTC mackerels
Headed out with the kids to explore the area here... Jase had recently hurt his ankle, so it was a slow walk to find this cache! The cache was quickly found, then we continued on to the lookout to take in the spectacular views
TFTC mackerels [^] This is a great spot deserving of a cache! Cache was in ok condition however there was moisture in the container & the log was damp. We dried it out the best we could, so all should be ok for now.

Finally found it. It was a challenge especially with 5 kids who are bored lol. TFTC Smit and Kinna Crew.
Out for a MTB session and overnighter with Sparrowman including a night ride at Marrinup.
Awesome spot. Stopped for a dip and cool off after our ride at Turner hill.

Beautiful small Dam with a view, bring the bathers if the weather is warm, great hidden away place for a dip and relax. TFTF, Took a bit of a search but got it in the end.
Out on a girlie 4WD caching adventure with OOH YEH.
Not a long walk to this one from the carpark. Knowing what it was hidden under made the find much quicker.
I then had time to enjoy the views but no time for a swim........this time. Certainly a nice place to return to one day.
Thanks for showing us this lovely secluded area mackerals & TFTH

Headed up this way today with skippy 46 today. She decided she would tale the 4 wheel drive this time to get some of the off road caches. We didnt do too bad, we had 18 finds, 1 DNF and one we spent about an hour trying to work out how to get there and we gave up in the end. The weather was great to start with but half way through the day we had a bit of a thunder storm. Most caches were found quickly with a couple that took a bit of searching. I hate grass tress so i was glad this one was found quickly. Great area TFTC mackerals
