Was amazing to see such a large, obvious cache last for such a long time... Shame someone had to ruin it.
Sorry!

Making the trip home to Vic in a couple of weeks. Will clean up or replace this one as required. Shame - it was doing so well for such a huge & exposed cache!
Sorry for any disappointing finds/ searches.

Just spent the last 30mins looking for this with two gps too make sure we getting the right spot found plenty of empty bottles I think it may have been muggled!!
Good hide, lots of fun but could use a clean up as it was very dirty, wet on the inside and somebody put a car battery in it...
Thanks!
Thanks!
Found today, My it is big. Don't know whether it is supposed to be there but there was a bloddy great car battery in it today.

Thank-you for brining us to this playground, we didn't know it was here and yes we stayed for hours!!
Seriously... How could you not find it After walking all around Point Nepean doing night caches, it was nice to have an easy one. Thanks for the cache
TFTC! Nice easy cache after traipsing around trying to find night caches in the point nepean park. Found with murch1.
I can not believe this hasn't been muggled! What a bold hide! Thank you for the hide on such a lovely day to cache with epicmac.

Well, it was certainly hard to miss this one. Amazing that it's still in place considering how many micros and nanos seem to get muggled. Maybe you just get a better class of muggle in this area - you certainly get a better class of climbing frame.

Being on a small getaway with two other couples (including 7 children!) coming down to this playground was an inevitability... This morning we popped down after breakfast. Great spot, and while it was quiet when we arrived it got busy quick!
Introduced some muggle friends to the sport and I think this one may have given the wrong impression! I think this has to be the easiest cache so far we've ever done.. So easy in fact you were second-guessing yourself that that couldn't be it! But it's that boldness that makes it an unusual and fun one.
Great cache (can't really call it a 'hide'!!)...

This has been my biggest cache so far!!! Raining - so not another person in sight. Found with geo-friend Jane. Took Xmas Teddy TB to take to some exciting place. Left surfboard key ring.

Wow! It's been so long since I found a large cache. I'm amazed this one is still here. Obviously this side of the garden is completely ignored by visitors (and presumably) the gardeners.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Team Goanna for this large cche here today. I was bereft of childen today, just having The Mini Mob with me, so we attacked the cache and left.

Picked up this one quite readily today while on a peninsula trip to see the rough seas around the Bass Strait coastline.
TN, but left Christmas Bear TB - we would be very pleased to have him get moving again so that he can have a few travels before next Christmas.
TFTC - fascinating that it stands up so well.

Out for the day with Grim Jeepers we stopped here. We normally avoid caches near children's playgrounds as we feel out of place so we took the opportunity of looking while we had two kids in tow. We needn't have worried as the very large cache was hidden well away from the playground. We decided to have our picnic lunch here before looking for some more caches
Thanks Team Goanna for bringing us back to this fantastic park, we have been here before for a now archived multi

A cache that lived up to it's name, that's for sure. I was caching today with Pathfinder24 and Ostara64, we were picking up some interesting caches between Portsea and Mornington. Pathfinder had found this cache quite some time ago, so it was up to Ostara and I to make this find, which we did with no difficulty. Thanks for the cache Team Goanna, it is in perfect condition and it is great to have cache like this out there that are suitable for all ages, particularly kids, as they always love to find a 'large' cache and go thought all the goodies.
such an easy cache caught us off guard, but found after a few minutes searching the bush TFTC
I was amazed that this cache was just here and so large. Cane here with the geobaby to play. He ha fun on the baby swing. Yay
Couldn't believe Roving AL had never been to this amazing playground before.

Checked in on this cache to replace log book after reading Riggers log, But all is ok as there is an almost new book. I think he must have found the old one

after a fun event I was grabbing a few caches on the way home in the company of Rigger64. As I was fairly limited I will say thank you to Rigger for his help 110%.
Fortunately Rigger64 found the cache easily and wow what a great sized cache.

Our sincere thanks to Team Goanna for an excellent cache.

As we were heading south to attend the event cache at Point Nepean, walenators was stopping off so that I could find some traditionals. When we arrived I wandered around to ground zero as casually as I could as there were still people heading into the park, even though it was getting rather dark. I was not prepared to find such a big cache container in the area though! How is it that something so big does not get muggled, but little caches do? Not that I mind of course, finding a container like this makes for a good day
Thanks for the cache Team Goanna. No swaps conducted today

Found in the company of Earthbound Chief while EB Nano played on the playground.
The Chief made the find while I accompanied EB Nano (reluctantly) over to the playground. Not the most pleasant place to be when it's 14 degrees and raining! Made finding the cache easier though as NO muggles around today. TFTC

After completing a new night cache at Pt. Nepean I thought that would stop at a few nearby caches on the way home.
I stopped on the side of the road, hopped out of the car and started to walk the wrong way, then realized and corrected myself, then soon had located the cache, it is amazing that a cache of this size has survived this long in this area.
Took TB.
Thanks to Team Goanna for this very large cache.

Mega-cache. Found by Geo-coz... Took pencil, Wombat deposited. TFTC so close to hundreds of muggles. Great spot.

Grabbed the ferry across from Queenscliff for a day’s caching with VKC1SR over on Point Nepean and Sorrento area. On arrival this was the first cache to be found and could not believe the size of the container and how it survives.
Only three big kids here today with the weather to cold for the beach so was an easy uninterrupted find with nothing in and nothing out. Thanks Team Goanna for placing this cache.

A huge cache that is surprisingly uncamouflaged, amazed that this isn't muggled. Fantastic views of the bay which may explain why the cache is still intact (everyone is distracted by the vista!). TFTC
An easy find after we got off the early morning ferry - it was the 2nd largest cache we've ever seen! TFTC. TNLN.
Found at 12 noon. Rain just holding off and few muggles parked. Camo is so in your face. TNLN TFTC
Quick and easy find, can't believe this hasn't been muggled! The cache was pretty much uncovered, so we put a bit more vegetation over it before we left. Took Aussie pencil, left pterodactyl. Kids took off immediately for the playground, perfect day for caching (not like the rest of our holiday!!). Thanks for the cache.
Found it - and it is a good playground. I had a play on the swings myself.
Came down this way with a newcomer to caching to see the artist's walk near Sorrento. Very pretty area of the country. One the way back we noticed this cache was nearby and stopped - had a youngster with us who could enjoy some of the spoils. TFTC.
Arrived Sorrento from Queenscliff with Laker63 and crank1 with partner and husband for the weekend.

Did a maintenance check today. The cache has moved a bit, so I put it back where it belongs (still stands out like the proverbial, especially with the camo paint worn off, but hasn't been a problem yet!)
Disappointed to see the state of the contents: That cache was chock-a-block full of stuff when I first set it, and some rather quality items included...
TRADE UP OR TRADE EVEN PLEASE, FOLKS!!

Found with Rebel Acts. At first I was concerned about the playground but the cache is happily far enough away from it. A surprisingly big container, which also surprised us with its boldness.
Brieze and I were on a lovely drive through Sorrento and across the ferry to Queencliff with Brieze's sisters family. We stopped here for lunch and a cache before hopping on the ferry. We were all looking around and had all but given up when Sue the sister mentioned she might have booted it down the hill!!! Sure enough when we all scrambled after it, The cache was revealed. While 8 year old Christie looked through the toys we put in a TB and she took a bouncy ball. We placed the cache back in a good spot near the coords.

This was cache # 17 of 31 for the day in the company of Alansee on our tour around the peninsula. We could not believe it was just sitting there like that, we were glad it was away from the play area as well. My thanks to Team Goanna for the cache.
Loved the container. Unfortunately I had nothing to put in so took nothing and left nothing. Thanks for a great cache. Can't believe this has not been muggled though.
Last find of the day with cathylmorgan and shortsuff95. Loved the cache. Left crocodile. Took dog bag. Can't believe this has not been muggled.
Parked so close it was almost a driveby!! Found straight away as it is just sitting there - obviously the gardener/lawnmowers know its there but had decided to leave it alone (which is great!)

Been to this place before, and no kids so early on a Sunday morning, so it didn't take long.
Great size for an urban cache. I had no swaps today as I was on a two day ride.
Came back a bit later with the driver for the ride, to show her what caching was all about - hope she doesn't think they are all that size
Thanks, Robmc.

Finding this cache was certainly child's play as it was extremely obvious. In fact, you could probably spot it from 100 metres if you knew where to look. We wondered if the very large cache was meant to be so obvious? We have a photo Team Goanna that we could send you if you would like to see what it's looking like now. We attempted to cover it up a bit, but without a major re-arrangement of foliage, there was not much we could do.
Anyway, it certainly made for an interesting find. Thanks Team Goanna - A beauty for our 1001th find.
