Quite possibly recoverable as the bottle was crushed but not completely flattened. There appeared to be items within that may have survived, With luck it was merely the empty space in the bottle that was crushed and not the contents.
P.S. Shall look to see if I can mosey on out that way this evening for a look-see, and retrieve of the bottle.
23:49 Ok, I have been out. The location now has no hide or bottle that I can see. I had a torch, but it was dark. I am annoyed with myself for not grabbing it the first time, but didn't know it had a TB inside. I am hoping that rubus has recovered the bottle in between my initial visit and tonight.
GeO Lightly, have you sent him a message?
- David.

23/12/2010 20:19 I found this one and as said, it is well crushed including the plastic bottle. TFTC TNLN. Unable to open container to sign log. This cache is in serious trouble though it does appear that some of the cache contents may have survived.
I see that Rubus left a maintenance message 2 weeks back (missed it). So I shall change this find to a simple note and come back later when the cache is repaired.

Thanks underadar for the note re maintenance. This sight has been disabled as it was another casualty from the several heavy downpours over the past fortnight. We are a little rushed at the moment and the cache will be repaired after Christmas. Cheers Rubus
Welllll, I found what was left of it.... The hide itself seems to have been run over, smashed, driven into the mud... The cache container is much smaller than it was, but still full of water. Couldn't get the lid off. Needs rescuing.
Found what was left. Was a nice hide - that was nicely hidden in the mud.... Needs help. Thanks.
Out on a night time caching run to clean up the Yan Yean area. The forecast was for 60 - 100mm so I was expecting to get wet tonight. Luckily it was a nice quick find. Cool hide. Signed the log and replaced the cache before getting back to the car for cover. TFTC.
7th find for the day with C@H (CovertHypnosis) on my biggest caching day out.. Easy find on what I will discover to be a great series of well thought out hides.. TFTC Robus, loved all of these from start to finish.. SL Find #536
Terrific hide! which i noticed before i had even got out of the car,i have found a few cache's hidden in this manner and it's always a pleasant surprise to see some extra effort in hiding a cache.
Thanks for the cache rubus

As we partked at the Gz, the cache name gave it away. We had to wait a few time for passing traffic before we could retrieve the cache. Well done Rubus. Found on the way home after the Back to the Beginning - 10 years of Vic caching! event cache....TFTH...SL....TNLN

Swaggies had already done this one when I met them at Poles Apart. They said I would smile and so I did - A nice bit of work reminiscent of another team further west and up to that very good standard too. Thanks Rubus.
TFTC, this was a great hide, well planned and placed!. I wonder how much attention it gets from potential muggles??
11-09 7th find of the day at 11:41 and 1134th find in total.
Nice hide, one of our favorite hides of the day. really lived up to it's name.
Good to see the effort gone into it's construction, a nice distinct variation on this hide method.
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks rubus for the caching fun!

Number 4 of 17 for the day. Will go down as one of my favorites. Left Aussie Drop bear. I wonder if people get curious about it.
Found by the kids while we watched from the car. I could get used to this style of caching
Nice little drive by cache.

5th of 11 for the night, another night find. Great play on words.... Very nice. Found very quickly, but almost got muggled as two cars drove past as i was signing the log....
Dusk was coming on but we thought we had time for one more cache for the afternoon tour with Thetaz. The cache was indeed well named and ingeniously made in keeping with the standard of past Rubus caches. Dropped in the Goldie TB and took out Baby TB and a "Not another micro" GC. Thanks Rubus - we voted it the best cache for the day.
What a delightful cache!
This was the last in the day on an outing with LinearZZ.
Mr Thetaz wasn't with us, so we'll have to go back so he can enjoy the engineering.

This was the first in the series that had Reesylou and I laughing all the way.
A very cleverly named cache and a terrific effort in the making of this cache also.
My thanks to rubus FTC, and the series. TNLNSL

Found on an epic (for me) days caching with bogonghazy. This was the 18th for the day, but only my 13th as I had done 5 previously.
Pulled up to this one and laughed, what a clever play on words.Absolutely awesome cache, and a great series. We ended up doing 5 of the 6 along the stretch. Left Magdelana TB.

I had an uplifting experience and looked and saw nothing then wondered what the! then i figured it out. Great hide.TFTC
This, the first cache of the day, was a beauty. [^]
Great engineering and a belly laugh when I spotted the hide. Can't ask for a better start than that.
Took: nothing. Left: Not another micro! GC.
Cheers Rubus, thanks for getting the day off to a good start.

Nice hide in a manner that has become the trademark of another Victorian Team. Thanks for the cache.
This was cache # 12 of 16 for the day, on a nice day out caching. I have a similar hide near home but not as magnetic as this one. My thanks to rubus for the cache.

Another great concept cache from the master around these parts. I was led astray at first by thinking I was looking for something else, but I was soon drawn to the cache like iron filings to a magnet.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks rubus for this concept cache this morning.

Found this one last weekend while going to Melbourne to pick up our new kitchen. One of only two we tried and drew a blank on the other one so not a very sucessfull caching trip I'd say, but then we didn't come to go caching.
Thanks indeed. Nice hide!

Funny, I can remember my first trip out this way (before HomerJ started up) and I took the Ridge Rd on my way back from Whittlesea just as a diversion (there were no caches along here back then) and thought that I'd probably never travel along it again - but now I've been back along here at least another 3 or 4 times in search of caches! Anyway, having done a number of Team Ladava caches now, this one had a familiar feel to it and was a nice, quick find.
TNLN, but did grab a geocoin
Thanks again Rubus - it's just so nice to see someone going to this sort of trouble to construct interesting cache hides. I hope you have as much fun making them as others do when they find them.

We found this cache at 1:15pm as the 8h of 28 on our Australia Day Bash 2010. A cute little hide. Well worth the visit. Left a coin. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.
Found 9.15am
Parked up where indicated and soon found a cache hide that I am very familier with. Nicely done.

Found at 4.05pm - A very clever hide which we found when reading some logs that indicated the co-ordinates not quite right - Took Wine Glass Ring - Left Screwdrivers TFTC
While out on a morning of Christmas shopping, I thought I'd have a break and venture up here to see if I could nab a few of the newies. This was first on my list and like Team Rubik before me, the coordinates were pushing me well behind the fence. After widening my search pattern though, I soon had the nice little hide in hand at 11:30. O3 was showing me that the stash was about 15-18 metres south of the coordinates listed so I've added the coordinates I got for reference.
TNLNSL, although our 100 finds geocoin had a visit to mark our 1300th Traditional find. Thanks rubus.

I decided to take a detour on the way home and try and find a couple of caches that eluded me a couple of weeks ago. My coordinates were putting me some distance from the cache and in an exclusion zone, so I have included another set for people to use if they find themselves in a similar situation.
I enjoyed the work that went into this one, nice job.
Cheers,

Woo Hoo, our first FTF at 21:45. How poetic that it was a rubus cache. As usual a lot of work has gone in to this cache and you will appreciate effort. T4TC. Pen took the penny racer and left behind her long beloved monkey
