I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENAINCE REQUIRED?
[blue]I notice from one or more recent log entries that this cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. Therefore, I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; "if you can't fix it straight away then "Disable" it till you can."

Please respond to this situation by 30th November to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/blue]

This one is gone for sure. Maybe the CO could check it out. Thanks.

28-Apr-14
I agree with Wis_Wis_a that this cache is probably gone. Went there yesterday (after I couldn't be bothered to detour to this spot last year when visiting the park) and searched all likely spots. No sign of a 1.2l container. As all ground cover was burned, there wasn't many hiding spots left. On the bright side, it made it easy to get to GZ.

Unfortunately a DNF, although I suspect that this geo may have met its doom given the recent back-burning at Lysterfield....... or maybe I just sucked at finding this geo!! Not sure Surprised(

A very peaceful spot. Great mountainbike riding all around here. Beutiful chill with birds and kangaroos about.

Find #10
I've never bush walked this far from a track in my life (unless I came from the wrong direction), very peaceful spot and great scenery. TFTC!

10-Aug-13
On a walk with Mrs sog12, we approached this one from the main track, but then had to veer off and walk up through the bush, mainly on grass. Approaching GZ, we stopped in the clearing and wondered if some old stones and bricks were evidence of an old building? Given the other objects about, something had to have been here. Moved toward GZ and fairly quickly made the find where it had to be. Sat and signed the log at this beautiful location. Thanks for the cache, KidCorza, and for bringing us here.

Like those that have found before me, what the heck is this doing here? Would love to know the story behind this structure. Took geofam with me for a walk, was a poor choice as the walk to get there and back is quite indirect and has Blair Witch moments when you go off the main track...was glad to find this one after a relatively quick search (the fam waited for me at the main track).

11-May-13
Out on a bike caching run with TurnerFamilyFTG just to prove how unfit I am. Wasted a bit of time working out the best way to get to this one but eventually found the easiest way there. How did this stuff get way up here in the middle of nowhere? TFTC.

Bike caching with Spiffy- and found this one. A shame it was overgrown with a climber as this old frame would make a good story. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC

Out for a walk on the way home from work, ah well, better get a cache whilst I'm here.
Walked mostly on tracks but some through the bush on the way from !ROCK ON!. Why can't mountain bike go in straight lines?
Nice hide in a great location.

Awesome find really cool picnic area, didn't take long to find however GPS got a bit funny around the area, just looked around pretty much. Signed the logbook and left Gloria jeans card with a few holes punched, took fishing magnet. Starting to rain lol TFTF Very Happy

On my stroll around the beautiful park I walked up the small hill and found the cache in the man made object Smile wasnt too easy to get it out but with two hands and a bit of patience I was able to get it out. I even did the small puzzle while enjoying the singing birds around me and I also saw some kangaroos! Thanks for showing me this great place! Smile

Found 12:17pm , find # 1706
Pam and I spent a few hours going for a long walk through Lysterfield Park today, collecting some outstanding caches.
This was number 1 of 4 for the day.
We walked down a dirt road and then headed off along a MTB track to get to the vicinity of the cache, going cross country through long grass for the last 150m or so. You would probably not be able to walk on the MTB trails during the weekend.
It was amazing to find the object at GZ, I wonder how it got there. It would be good to find out and add it to the cache listing.
Anyway, it is completely overgrown with some sort of creeper so it was necessary to lift it off to look underneath.
We eventually found it. Look near the wheels.
Thanks KidCorza.

I got off to an early start for a change with the intention of finding three caches down this end of the park. The grass was long and wet once I left the track but I found the cache without too much trouble. Interesting climbing plant at GZ. Thanks for bringing me here. TNLN SL

Enjoyed the walk to this one - saw quite a few kangaroos en route.

25-Jul-12
All of the State MTB tracks are closed due mostly to the rain, but everything else is open. A most enjoyable walk to gz avoiding the swamp but not the sunshine. An easy find at GZ but what on earth is it doing there?

20-May-12
Found it! Nicely hid. Although we took the wrong track, looking for a short cut had us walking through long sharp weeds making it hard terrain, especially for little legs. Found travel bug...

20-May-12
Thanks a bunch KidCorza! We've been mountain biking and hiking in the area for 5 years and we would have never been to this beautiful clearing without this geocache! Kids had a blast but what a hard work if accessed via the swamp... Took the travelling bug... Now on its way to a new home. Left purple monster finger puppet.

Yes, another one of those where you say to yourself: This is what geocaching is for! Beautiful spot. Saw some parrots right nearby.

This cache should have more favorites - so here is one more!

After meeting up with covert and spladem at ikea, I headed further east to get some more caches and show a friend of mine the pleasures of Geocaching. Good thing I started here >> despite the weather the walk was quite nice and GZ definitely is a good example how Geocaching should be Very Happy

Found it! I had planned to meet a friend to walk around the lake and when she said she wanted to go the long way, I just could not resist picking up this cache. After a brief cross country meander, we made it to the top of the grassy knoll and quickly made the find. We got back to the car park just before on dusk and home by dark. TFTC, saw the TB Smile

Loved this cache. Don't know how you found this hidey hole as it is not on the Tram Line walking track. Well worth the walk.

I'd arrived at the park early this morning for a group training run with some colleagues from work - But it seems the weather had put the rest off as it was just little ol' me!

Oh well, I might as well modify the route slightly and pick up a few caches while I'm without muggles. After a long 10km loop I approached this one from the south along Tramline walk. Given the nature of the location I really expected it to be on that track so was a bit confused when I just looped around, never getting closer than 350m. Eventually I gave in and headed across country to find the very worthwhile and notable stuff at GZ. Surprised the managers of this park don't make more of this!

Still, that gave me the privacy to search, and the cache was soon found, probably helped by previous cachers' prunings Smile

After doing 2 "nearby" Puzzle Caches, GMelb continued onto this one having to do a bit of cross country walking from the previous spot as time was marching on and he was concerned the car park would close and he'd be stuck there for the night lol!!
Due to this he used the hint and found the cache reasonably quickly. Interesting spot!
Now the fun really began as he had quite a walk in front of him to get back to the car! It turned out to be a 6km hike of up and down hills back to the car and he was exhausted by the time he got back to the car! Whoops! It was after the signposted closure time however the gates were still open - Phew! lol

Found @ 2:28pm, find # 1183.
While out in the area doing a bit of mountain biking, there are certainly some great tracks around this area, I stopped off at this one for a bit of cross country riding
I arrived at the GZ equipment but there was only a tiny bit exposed some I had to do a little pruning to see what was there, after a while the cache was located, signed log and replaced, the area of the cache was still well covered.
Thanks to kidCorza for this cache.

Interesting spot for the kids. Pitched a tent for shelter when the rain came. No insects on us! Saw an animal scatter into the bush. Looked like a 4 legged creature, moved quick, think it was a fox?!

I parked at the main entrance on Wellington Rd, unloaded the pushy, donned the helmet and rode the 3 or so kms along the wet tracks to find the nearby cache Rock On first before heading back to the car via this cache. The track that lead to GZ was rather wet and muddy at times and at about 200m I was off the bike and heading up the hill. A great little spot and how on earth did this machinery get here ? Pretty cool. Cache found and log signed. Thanks for the hide.

It has been a very long time since I have trained at Lysterfield with my good mate Tansey. I was not able to get there for the usual 7 am start for our Mountain Bike Ride around Lysterfield, but was able to get there about 9 am.

I knew hunting for caches here was going to be tough, as some of the hills can be killers, and I don’t have great bike fitness at the moment. A number of the caches, Tansey had already done, but like a true sport he did not assist in those finds.

After the Culmination of the King of the Gods, Tansey and I parted ways. He had to go home and he had already done this one. I rode a closed path to get here for a quick find. Thanks KidCorza for this one.

Second go at this - some clearing may have helped - the man made object seems a long way from any where logical i.e near the dam wall or neare the quarry - but good find

Looking through the logs i reallized i hadn't logged that i had found the cache. The cache belongs to Geoson, and helped hide it, and have been hear twice to check on it on navigation training day with Peninsula Bushwalking Club and 1st Red Hill Scouts.
Today i was on a PBWC training day, teaching basic navigation.
Cache all good.

A really nice walk up the hill to this cache. Nice to see the park so green, felt I was walking on carpet.
Spent a short while looking around an interesting object, as I suspect the vines have grown a bit since the cache was last found.
It looked like a nearby spot had been used for Cunning Running, as there was a orange and white flag there.

Thanks, Robmc.

Kind of embarrassed to be the first to admit to "not" finding this cache Red Face I am usually quite good but this had me stumped? Could have been the repeated disturbance I was causing to some poor bush mouse that left me almost grabbing him instead of a cache :O Thought it best not to disturb his home any longer and try this one a different day.

We haven't been to this area for years.
Not having our bikes, we had a long walk in and it was very pleasant. We shared the track with 2 echidnas, many kangaroos and blue wrens flitting around our feet.
We were glad the weather was dry as the grass is very long around the GZ and I hate walking through long wet grass!!!

Left 2 TBs
Took Koala

From the GZ of Double Dipping we decided to take the "short cut" through the bush to this cache.

Bush bashing makes me tired.

Once arriving at GZ cache was found VERY quickly - "there it is!"

There was also an orienteering marker and stamp here too!

Nice ivy wall!

Thanks KidCorza for this cache.

Doing the best to emulate Bear Grylls, I set off bushwalking under the gaze of several roos who always have that look, the 'what the hell is he doing' look. Going crosscountry to save time, I made it to the GZ and with a bit of searching had the cache in hand. Didn't need to eat any dead creatures to survive either, which is always a plus in my book.

We found this cache at 2:30pm as the 2nd of 8 on our Cardina afternoon. Very close to home but we had saved it up for far too long. With no directions on the cache page nor tracks on our maps, we took the direct route from the car park. This got a bit tough going about 400m to 200m from the cache. Once at GZ, a lovely surprise at what we found there. How did you find this? On the way back, we followed the ridge west to the track for an easier time of it and we saw lots of big roos, a couple of whom were much taller than us. Thanks from D & H B-A.

Easy find. Left a minature pack of cards and took the geocoin. TFTC KidCorza

Tried this one last week, but attempted from the wrong side and gave up after too much bush bashing.

Today's walk was much easier, and the cache was easily visible when i got close. Very surprised to see what was at the GZ, and now I'm curious to find out a little more history of the area. Thanks.

Found by Bob at 1405

I've done quite a few caches in this area now, so it was a familiar parking spot and initial part of the walk. I enjoyed the cross-country bit and was suitably surprised by the cache hiding spot and I couldn't help but wonder how you stumbled upon it. I guess this area was once quite different from what it is now.

TNLN, but did swap a couple of geocoins

Thanks KidCorza - a most enjoyable cache

Number 8 of 10 for a day of Drive/Cycle/Walk cross country caching

I'm guessing these might have been something to do with "Tramway track", which is near here. I think they're quite narrow gauge , but I was intrigued that they look like sprung bogies - well, what I could see!

I have walked many parts of this great park, but not much down this side. So it was a good chance to check it out. I was quite surprised at what was at GZ - it seemed a little out of place, with the tramline being further down the hill.

Found the cache without too much difficulty, but probably should have thought more before sticking my hands where I couldn't see. (Walking from here to the next cache I saw the last 18 inches of a snake disappear into the grass - made me think twice about this cache).

I made no swap, but left an Aussie Phantom Geocoin given to me by the great man himself. Thanks for the cache, and for the walk.

I had to leave my bike about 200m away as I went cross country here. I was interested to see the relics here and with no snakes hiding among them (that I saw anyway!). The cache took me quite a while to find as I was reluctant to put my hand in places I couldn't see, but I eventually spotted it. Thank goodness it wasn't a micro!

Many thanks,
