knowing this area a little bit - i believe this was a controlled burn & where my cache was placed was & is still now (new cache) it was smoldering a bit - so the fire people or others hosed it well & most likely removed my steel ammo tin - no problems all is well replaced cache with a plastic ammo container - only thing many a young kid over the years made their cubby houses in this greater area - i guess for now they may need to move on down the road - cache is now sitting vertical against inner tree - PLEASE replace like this - until it can be covered with local vegetation - cache on -
being an ammo steel container will be buried - will replace & by the sounds of it a new location needed

Couldnt find it because everything was burnt and there were signs everywhere saying dont go into burnt bush for own safety
Decided to stop by while driving through the area, definitely took the worst route which made this a lot more than a 1.5 terrain Quick find when we eventually got there, TFTC!

This was a nice surprise - wasn't expecting such a classic cache container. Finding it wasn't too tough; a bit of a bush bash, and a bit of a look round, and there it is! About 6m from where my GPS was pointing, but that's what you get when there's tree cover all around.Took some magazines, left some slinkies, a bouncy ball and a skull. Thanks for the cache!

We attempted this one but there was a man living in a tent in the scrub so we aborted this one.
Very fun. Found it with my dad and friend Lara. Biggest cache I have ever found and hope I find more like it.
Found during an impromptu two day caching trip to and around Katoomba. Took a while to locate even a basic geotrail to access GZ making it more than a T1.5. And what’s with the spiders sitting dead centre of the webs they string across the path?!...LOL. Easy find once within the radius and out of eyesight of some muggles spending time with “relatives” nearby.

We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Planning to collect some of the solved GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and Wallacia, then visiting the Blue Mountains from Springwood to Wentworth Falls (over two days) for numerous Adventure Labs and other targeted caches.
Today (day 2) we collected caches and Adventure Lab stages from Linden to Wentworth Falls, then completed an Adventure Lab around various parts of Wentworth Falls, before ending the day with a walk around Wentworth Falls Lake to complete an Adventure Lab and collect some more caches that we passed along the way. This was our 15th find of the day (day 2), and 31st find of the holiday.
Parked the geomobile outside the entrance of the cemetery, then headed into the cemetery and around towards the cache location, then followed the faint bush track through the scrub to GZ. Quickly spotted the hide and soon had the nice classic caching container in hand. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Hansjj.

Nice easy find, was a little exposed and heavy. Had one of those NSW rocks in it. I was concerned that it may damage the cache so removed it , hid the rock else where and safely returned the cache to hide for the next finder. Tftc

Quick pit stop for the dogs to have a run. Nice easy find and great to see a regular in a spot perfect for a regular!!! Cache wasn’t well cover but I did my best to re cover it with what was around.
Geodad and geokid off in completely the wrong direction while Geomum claimed the find! Contents of this cache did make us smile. Took the squishy ball and left an ooshie. Thank you for the fun find and we did stop and have delicious pies at Sky High Pies. TFTC!
found with Chippyddd and geodog and georabbit. Cache and logbook are dry. Good sized cache with room for SWAPS & drops. Nil TBs in cache. SL TFTC TFTH Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher
No.8 for the day. Found icw geo buddy Mystic Seer and geo rabbit. Easy find once at GZ. SL Thanks to the CO for bringing us to this location.
Had to get this one for the story - my teacher at KHS bought 2 plots with views of Sydney. One weekend a few years later he went to view and found others buried in them!

Time to head towards the mountains for a few caches and it was a good winter's day to go exploring. Picked up a scattered selection. Found this one away easily, signed log and headed back to continue the hunt. TFTC.
Winter is a great time in the Blue Mountains, so off we went to pick us various caches placed in far and wide locations. This one was not too hard to find after a short walk through the bush, was retrieved and our name was duly noted on the log. All was then carefully put back in its proper place and we went on our way to find the next hidden treasure. Thank you to HansJJ for placing and maintaining this cache.
A great hide for a great cache1, picking up a few more after the GC NSW at Lawson yesterday. Thank the cache! : )
Came to this cemetery to visit my great great great uncle Oscar Hughan who was buried here in 1913. The cache was a bonus.
