TFTC SL Needed a special place for our 1000GC. Getting a smiley, souvenir and drive down Route 66. Memorable indeed!

My first cache along Route 66, during our 6 state tour of the southwest. We will spend more time on 66 in the coming days, but I get to anchor my Route 66 bug with this cache.
US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 7. We spent today doing a bit more desert caching on the way to Las Vegas via Needles. We managed some of the CCX4 series and caches along highway 95. Thanks.

Stopped in town for lunch only could manage a couple of caches while we where here.
Heading out of 29 Palms and caching our way towards Needles and then on to Las Vegas. Hit the CCX series and a few other caches along the way.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, Sth & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.
