After 14 years, this geocache will be archived. My friend who lived close to the site, reliably informs me that the cache was most likely to be washed away with the recent floods.Thank you to all those who looked for it.
Time to try and tick off this months challenge. There is enough on this end of the Queen Charlotte track for me to almost do it.This was my only DNF of the day. I had a really good search round everything. There has been some trees chopped down recently. As I was walking back to the geomobile, I noticed that my scribing devices were missing. So, I retreated to GZ to find them. Still no container.
Fun hide. Not super obvious but we'll enough off the main walking track that people will spot you
Hint had us puzzled for a bit, went back to the coords and wondered a bit more, was about to give up when I found it, TFTC
Log book too wet to sign. Out for bike ride from Aussie Bay where caravan is parked
Finally had a find in Anakiwa after 2 other failed attempts on 2 different caches. TFTC
This cache was found on an afternoon trip to Annikiwa . It was found with my wife on day three of our eight day holiday in Marlborough based at Picton.
I was about to give up but persevered.
JDScout and I are spending a week in Picton. We have spent this week exploring Marlborough and finding a few geocaches. Thanks johnny5a for creating this hide. It was find 9470 for me.

Parked up on the quad and wandered along the track, helpful hint for the gz and a quick find was made.

Beautiful find. Is couple meters from tiny waterfall and pond. Upturned dinghy. I pulled Ivy away from the hide exposing the hiding rocks. 5 months since the last find. Enjoy. Cache damp but not wet.
Found this cashe relatively easily, but the log book was wet as the zip lock bag was not sealed properly. Ended up just logging on a random page.
Over all, great cashe though!

Just come back from a great walk along Queen Charlotte Track to Anakiwa View and back picking up a couple of FTFs along the way. So now time to head home. But time for a couple of stops along the way.
So we take the track down to the sea and read the hints which puts me over the creek. So off with the sandels and across the creek I go to end up with a wall of blackberry. Surely not here.! No The Seagnoid has sighted it so back across the stream to get this one tagged. Cheers
Had an early message from The Seagnoid for a walk at Anakiwa for a couple of FTFs. Yep Im in - pick up at 3.30. No change of plans make that 12.30. Its been raining here early morning and weather changeable since then. Thankfully its a lovely afternoon for a walk, but track wet and muddy in places.

A quick find here, after I figured not to take the path indicated by the link walkway sign. Bit damp down here but a quick find, TFTC johnny5a.
There have been a few new ones placed along the QC track, but I don’t have time to do them tonight. I will come back some other day with the bike and see how we go. In the meantime, a quick trip in to do some one this road and the QC Drive if I have time. Turns out I didn’t, but still good fun. Thanks all COs.

A quick find while rest of group out kayaking. Such a beautiful spot...TFTC!
All was quiet at GZ. We had a wee fossick around and soon had the cache in hand. The cache had quite a lot of water in it so we tipped it out and dried it as best as we could. The log is still perfectly dry although the staples have given way and the wee notebook is now in more than one piece - but still very useable.
Thanks for placing this cache and providing us with the motivation to come and spend some time in the area enjoying the natural beauty. and of course thank you for the smilie

From our holiday in New Zealand after å friends wedding at Anatoki Salmon farms.
As the Cyclone Gita destrøyed our plans to do the Heaphey trail we needed to find another plave to explore.
We choose to drive to the north east as it seems the weather was going to be best there. A little bit of troubles as I did not have any caches from this side of New Zealand on my gps so all of the choosen caches should be off-line loaded on the phone and without a map. This night we stayed close to the Charlotte trail but I did not find the other cache i was searching for so I took this one instead which was fast found. Thank you for this cache johnny5a

I don't know where I'm going.
But I'm going.
Shall i go to the left , where nothing's right?
Or to the right , where nothing's left?
Are you coming with me?

Took a little looking, got there in the end. Cheers.
Early ferry today, and off to Neslon for a couple of nights. Good to be back on the mainland.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

A quick find from excellent coordinates and hint. All in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.
Checked the geocache and it's still there - the area around it had become a bit overgrown, so cleared the area and she's all good!
If cache was placed between bush and stream then has disappeared in recent flooding which has washed out the bank very close to bush. Nothing else resembling cache hide around.
We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun. Thanks for placing the cache.
Late evening walk to find my first cache in New Zealand.
Was hoping to pick up a tb to take back to Scotland but there are none in the cache.

I read the hint to Miss 4 and she lead us straight to it, very pleased with herself! tftc
Cool cache! Unfortunately the log book is a bit damp. We dropped a TB from Aus!
It is day three of a three day weekend (Waitangi Day) which gives me the opportunity to boost my numbers in the local area. On Saturday, in the company of Kiwimykl I have done some local Blenheim caches along with the route to Picton and a few Picton caches. Sunday's caching involved the Port Underwood Road and some more of the Picton caches and today's effort involves the Queen Charlotte Drive, Anakiwa and the route between Havelock and Blenheim. As we were time-limited we decided to target PnGs or those caches only involving a short walk.
This place is a little more populated than the previous two caches and the were a couple of boaties preparing their boats for launching nearby. They were too preoccupied with their endeavours to take notice of us as we walked down the track. for a QEF.

Nice and easy find given that the hint was more like a set of directions (c: Geo-kids completely oblivious to cache due to the lure of the nearby stream and the resident cockibillies and crabs. TFTC.
TFTC, Allepousse and I gave Polargirl a headstart on her bike then met up with her at each cache on this road, she was mostly faster on her bike than we were driving!
as a new comer i was unable to find cache with your written instructions.what was i missing and how big are the 2 trees you mention?
Mum & Dad dropping off N9 for his school camp at Mistletoe Bay ( they're hiking in ). Thought we'd pick up some caches along the way.
