Disabled following a detailed description of the area. Will check it out with the next month or so.
Spent almost an hour looking for the cache. Pretty sure it's not there. Picturesque spot though.
Picked this one up on our way back home to Geelong this afternoon. A very picturesque area where one half of the Tritonz took many photos while the other half got to work searching, finding and signing.
Thanks heaps o'cholio for bringing us here to this great creek.

Another wet gz so I had to park my car back on the gravel and head in on foot to make a quick find. Signed the log and tucked it away nice and dry for the next cacher. TFTC o'cholio.
Sorry catching up on some old logs. Heading home after a few days in Warrnambool. We haven't travelled this way for ages so it was a great opportunity to stop and grab a few caches. TFTC o'cholio.
Found it while out on a sunny day, Pulled up in the geocar and nearly stepped on it, Thanks o'cholio for bringing us here
This was pretty much uncovered, and hence spotted quickly. Bogonghazy and I made our mark in the logbook, replaced the cache, covered it up a bit better, and were on our way to the next cache. Thanks for the hide.
Quick find with Sully1 as it was uncovered and in the open.
Hope all these new cachers with their phone apps aren't responsible.
Thanks again O'cholio

Hi Found it. Nice hide, had to wait till mugglers left so we could make the grab. TFTC
Wandered for a while with poor GPS lock until finally found it. Not the easiest. Outer container base has rusted through and no longer holds inner container if you lift it up. Inner container in good condition. TFTC
Reasonably easy find but bottom of container fallen off all safe and dry inside though. TFTC
Parked the car at the entrance to this area as I reckon I would have got bogged if I drove closer to gz. This would be a lovely spot in the summer. After a bit of a look around, I managed to get my hands on the cache which is still in good nick. Thanks again o'cholio for a good location & hide.
In the search I frightened a huge bunny in the long grass. Don't know who got the biggest fright! Cache is safe and sound. Everything is very wet around after the storms and rain. Beautiful spot worth coming back to in the summer.
Had some trouble with the GPS, however after some searching success. colaccoley and Di
Suscoe's 9th find of 18 on a day out in the western district.
A delightful spot here today, all alone and quiet except for the wind.
Cache found quickly by Mrs. S.
Log signed and on our way.
Thanks to o'cholio for showing us this spot.

Sorry o'cholio for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks o'cholio for placing this cache.
Found at 1.30pm whilst touring the Western district.
A pretty spot spoiled by the dumped furniture.

Hint was very helpful on this one, found easily signed and replaced... Shame about all the rubbish dumped in the area. TFTC
This was a great cache in a nice spot, it's a pity about the furniture dumped near by. I hope those responsible have a change of heart, and return and clear it away. sl tnln tftc
Today we went on "The Dry Stone Wall Heritage Trail" sponsored by the Corangamite Shire and do some caching along the way. Need to be careful as the "X" can easily be missed.

We had our geodogs with us today and they really enjoyed themselves and so did we. Took Seahorse TB and left eraser lipstick and frog. Cache nice and snug and dry.

A nice little out of the way camp spot! The cache took me a little while but in the end the coords were fairly good, and the cache was in a logical spot. It reminded me of those buckets in the old days that used to cause people so much time to find, for the same reasons.
It was getting late and we needed to find somewhere to camp for the night. So when I saw the cache page mention Camping spot, I was very happy! Azz nearly drove past so reversed a little and we set up camp for the night.
After a little while I was surprised Azz hadn't looked for the cache....he hadn't realised we had stopped for a cache, just a nice camp!
it was 2 steps out our caravan door!

Grabbed to TB, signed the log and hit the road again.

Found this with my father! Water levels are still up but great spot above the level!! Heaps of badges inside, unfortunately had none to leave myself! Took a bandaid! Left a footy club bumper sticker! Beautiful afternoon!!

Our fourth stop beside Mount Emu Creek on our quest to follow the Emu Crossing caches toward Warrnambool.
The creek has really exercised it's power here recently, the cache was very well protected - loved the design, the walk in was a bit mushy though - even a 4x4 might have got stuck!
Sighted Trackable "Nubis, The Family Cat... Chaa! 006" - lots of patches attached now.

Cache replaced with a more waterproof container in a spot that should be more resistant to being swept away. Listing updated.
Visited this spot recently and the area is devastated. The bridge is open but looks in need of repair. It'll be a while before this one comes back.
As high as this one is, recent word that the main bridge has collapsed. That means that it probably won't survive the massive flood that is now Mt Emu Creek. Offline.

Floods didn't wash the cache away, but they did get high enough to fill the hiding spot and saturate everything inside with smelly creek water. Emptied out the stagnant water and replace the log and pencil. Safe to visit again.
Offline due to floods. Hopefully the cache should be okay in its elevated spot. http://www.standard.net.au/multimedia/15208/94988/the-southwest-flood-part-ii.aspx
Found it, I have been waiting quite a while for this one.
Visited here once before but forgot the coords.
Had a fair idea where is was after reading the logs.
Possibly should have had a good look at the photo on the listing.
Took $00.50 Left small car. (toy)
Thanks O'Cholio.

Really nice picnic spot, me and the thousand flys had lunch here.
No Emus crossing here, although it is a nice place to cross.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found on an exploration 10 hr trip from Altona to Warrnambool . it was a hot day and would have been good for a swim . you have been busy laying caches which is fantastic thanks o'cholio
A nice detour of the highway to a pleasant spot. Nice also to see a good bit of water about. I wonder how far you could canoe here? A quick retrieval and a mondo and two critters left to populate the cache a little SL TFTC.
Our second o'cholio cache for the morning, this time at a very restful picnic ground which was deserted today which was fortunate for we may have attracted some attention while we retrieved the cache.

I was home for the holidays and dragged my younger sister out for a driving lesson and looked up caches in the area and saw this one not to far away .
Nice spot in all the years i have never stopped here just flown thru ..
While i wouldnt say i was average hight , u will need to be a wee bit taller .. to get this cache. My sister pointed out the possible location and at first i was like nope nothing there but after a little search realised it had to be in there . We drove the car closer and my sister jumped on the bonnet and looked in and there it was it had fallen to the bottem of the hole...
after a bit of ' im not sticking my hand in there , there's bugs' she finaly did and cache was in hand ! lol !
Have taken travel bug , to take to melbourne !!
Thanks for great cache !!
Look forward to more .. maybe at easter when i come home !

Found by Mary & David at 1100. Made a wrong assumption as we approached the turnoff, but the needle pointed out our error. Mount Emu Creek is very special for Mary. Brings back lots of memories of her time in Darlington. Dropped off 'JIMBOBWE's - World Traveler - Painting for Cache Geocoin'. Our thanks once more to o'cholio.
YAY FTF!!!, went for a nice drive and picked up this cache this afternoon, in the last few hours of the weekend. cache is in a really nice place net to the above photoed bridge. was a nice place to stop and have a wander. surprised i beat bushfire to this one, he's been pretty on the ball lately. TFTC.
