A quiet road today. Searched in ever widening radii according to the hint but to no avail. I think it may have gone.

18-Mar-14
Looked around for about 10 minutes, extended our search out by 20m, still no luck. Perhaps needs a check to see if it's still around.

25-Dec-13
After searching for 15 minutes, I was really surprised that we couldn't find it. This one seemed so straight forward. Maybe it has been muggled?

20-Oct-13
A very busy stretch of road. Found it difficult to look casual in such an open area. SL TFTC.

Quick easy find. TFTC Scott

Found at 4:09 PM GAFF1. Well the young hoons certainly like to taunt the police if they do burn outs right in front of their "pull over" area. Not much else to do in this town is there?
Cache found while a vehicle was parked in front of us, but they were not looking at what we were upto.
Thanks The Bryces.

22-Jul-13
Another 'police ' themed cache. How could I resist. Had to 'rest' in the truck stop till some truckie activity moved on. A quick dash across the road and cache soon found. Thanks The Bryces

15-Jul-13
Were travelling the wrong way for this one so made a mad dash across the road and then a quick find. Thanks.

I see the irony in the name. Quite clever and a good find.

Left the caravan at the free stay, again, for another assault on Gladstone caches.
A good variety for a small community.
Found this one in good condition and well hidden.
Thanks for the cache, The Bryces.

Able to disappear to Central QLD for family visit over a couple days ... and able to sneak out for a little geo-therapy. An overnight visit to Gladstone brought about this little visit, and with Mrs Prime in the drivers seat I got to tell her where to go - and for a change not getting in trouble about itSurprised.

Master Garmin brought us here, and a quick run back (OK, it was a walk in this heat) and soon I had a cache in hand and a log was signed.

Thanks for placing this cache, The Bryces. Found in good condition.

With the caravan parked at the Calliope Rest stop for a second day we took off in the car heading towards Gladstone to pick up some caches. A beautiful day and an interesting assortment of caches kept us entertained. So many nice parklands and suburbs to check out.

Before setting out today on my little geoexpidition I jotted down some notes for the different caches I was aiming to find today. I mainly wront down the size, its hint and which road to take to get close enough to the cache, after livign here for a decade or so it was easy to just abriveate. Unfortunately I miss read my abreviation for this cache which took me down the back, looking under rocks, scrambling through long grass and almost twisting my ankle. I did find the cache when I walked back to where I had told my nephew to sit with the gps as I didnt want him discovering one of our many nasty Joe Blakes only to find it was right behind him. As I sit here now logging this find did i read the hint and match it up with my jotted notes. Oh how im kicking myself now.

21-May-11
Our 5062nd overall find.

Now that's funny. It looks like this is the popular spot! We parked opposite the GZ and walked over. No one about on this early morning but this sure looks like a big and busy road.

Thanks to The Bryces for the cache.

2.42pm. Quick easy find. TFTC

Found on our final trip into Gladstone before resuming our travels. We had to visit the TNT depot to collect our TV which had gone south for repairs so it was the perfect opportunity to pick up a couple of caches we missed last trip. This area certainly looks like hoonsville- seems like back home, whenever a new road goes in - out come the burnouts.

The last thing to do on the last day of the year, is to find a few of the new caches around town. Seems we were spotted grabbing this one.

Cheers

It's a while since we have been home long enough to get around to doing the accessable local caches.
The changes out this way are hard to keep up with.
