I have managed to find time now it is safe to go check our cache after the Cudlee Creek fires last December that went through this area.

We are over in Adelaide from Melbourne and spent a couple of days in the hills before heading to stay in the suburbs. Lovely view from GZ!

Nice day for a drive and grabbing a few caches. This was a nice easy drive by. Awesome view. Wonder what it is like a xmas. TFTC

It was an interesting drive up to this cache with great views all around. Strangely there was a car parked at the suggested location, but the occupant was nowhere to be seen. The cache was a nice quick find, and we were happy to find such a quality geocache container.

Today we are off to the TDU event at Hahndorf so we decided to leave a little earlier and grab some caches along the way as one does : ) a quick find as we passed through here with great views and a good size cache. TFTC
Found with Csaba! and SupaOrange before I had a caching name. A very late log. Turtle out.
On this sunny Sunday afternoon, we were driving from Adelaide to the town of Lobethal for the famous Christmas lights and fireworks display. This cache was found there.
We drove to the suggested parking area, and walked to the GZ. Cache was easy to find, and we were welcomed by all kinds of bugs, ants, snails... Luckily we haven't encountered dangerous animals as mentioned in attributes. Haven't seem ammo box quite often, and I thought the cache container size was large. Signed the log book, and dropped off a TB we retrieved a few days ago.

Very cold and windy today so what a great day to grab a cache! Nearly got blown away up here. Visited the car slot place in Lobethal and had lots of fun. Saw there were some caches near by so grabbed this one first with the kids. Took Dice, left Golf Ball. Cheers.

Owl has wanted to do this cache since she noticed that the CO had an awesome name, but has never been in quite the right place. Today she had some time to kill and made the detour. The wait was worth it and the views fabulous. Thanks for the unexpected pleasure!

Having just arrived in Adelaide for the OZ MEGA 2014 Slieschke met me at the airport and was showing me some of the sights around and this was early in the journey
As Slieschke was determined to show me the families home town this was my first introduction to Lobenthal which unbeknown to me I was to either visit, pass by over the next few days caching while in the area

What spectacular views from up here; looking beautiful on a Spring afternoon. Thanks fit bringing us up here for an easy find; cache is in good order. Took horse, left Minion SL tftc 
This was my first! took my pooch for a walk up there - what a hill!! Magnificent view though

Sadly, I stopped at 26 caches but for various reasons, I only managed to locus cache at 19, the rest were DNFs 
Saw some amazing sights and dodged rain and hail all day.
A nice quick find to start my day, in a part of Lobethal that I have never been to before.

The first camo tin I have found. Reminded me of all the caching videos on youtube I've watched from America. Found this one pretty quick. Dropped off lobster TB. TFTC!
Was in the area with a little bit of time left so dialed this one up. Dismal weather didn't help with the view but what I could see was nice.
