Almost 15 years on the map! I've driven past this one a number of times over the last 10 years and every time I look at it and think that's going to be too much effort to get to. For some reason I had the impression you had to climb your way up from the bottom. I was going to do the same today but had a quick look at some recent logs and read that you could quite easily access it from the top so I headed around the corner and did just that.It certainly is a nice view and I sat and took it in while finally adding my name to the log. Good to finally convert this one to found.
Visiting family in Sunbury, I made sure that we had time to check out a few caches on the way. I had had this cache in my sights for a while, and decided that today was the day. For some reason I thought it would be much more difficult to get to than it was. It is so nice to have the green turned yellow on the map.
I had been over in Craigieburn to watch my niece at her swimming lessons. She continues to improve and her freestyle and backstroke is coming along nicely. With no caches left to find in the area, I set off to Bulla as I noticed a SideTracked cache. This was a case of Up, Down, Up.I hit some fencing roadblocks to access this one from where I parked for the SideTracked cache. I noticed a road on the map, which turned out not to be a road and at the bottom of the hill. I bailed and returned to the top again to find alternative access from the oval. Much easier and I should have tried this to begin with.Having just seen the snake I was careful through this area, although it was pretty open and mostly flat.A quick find at GZ. A big thanks goes to Master of the Dragon for taking the time to add jJacksons Creek Overview to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! Set up my telescope for an astronomy night as the sun set. Then walked over here to find this cache. Was a little concerned I wouldn't see in the fading light but it only took about 3 minutes. Great view of an area I don't get out to much. Usually just going to the airport when I travel this way. Thanks.
Visiting Melbourne from Port Macquarie. Was a bit unsure where to park for this one, but the bulla reserve was perfect. Definitely a nice view, with a cache as a bonus Thanks for the cache
We were a bit surprised that we weren't the only visitors here today.Great views!Thank you.
Took a bit of finding but found. What a great view!!
Found with Cobtosouth04

A bit of a bush bash to the location was the breath of fresh air needed. Logged cache and replaced the rock TFTC
Thanks Master of the Dragon for placing this cache here, what an absolutely awesome view. Nice to see a different perspective of the amazing bridge! Happy trails from Deanside
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Master of the Dragon for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

The border force drug sniffing dogs were having a run around on the oval when I arrived. They soon left and I walked over to GZ where I quickly found the cache just before it started to rain. Some nice views from up here!

Out today with my favourite geocacher Arachnauts. She found this one a long time ago but was good enough to accompany me on this one to fill the gap. What a view. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
Great view you can see most of bulla from up here. Nicely hidden under the rock!
Driven past here for weeks & finally got a chance to stop & give the geodog a run. Very swampy on the oval ATM but the view definitely makes it worthwhile. Quick find once I approached from the right side, TFTC!0
Nice quick find for us today! We found parking at Bulla Reserve 100% the best way to get here. Cache was in good condition. Absolutely amazing view!

Didn’t see any track, so had to walk through grass to reach the cache. Good views from out there.
What an awesome view here. Walk was a little wet and muddy, however made the most of it at GZ taking it all in. Boys had a great time checking out this spot and swapping some swag.
Glad it isn't just all suburban hides out here, but some amazing views and places.
A FP from me.

Nope, searched for a while but my GPS struggled with my location and with so much grass and so many rocks I had to let third one go.
Found with Melbmatt50 on this glorious day !! SL, TFTC !! No 5 for me !! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY !!
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Great views from the cache, top day to visit. Cache and contents were in good condition.

Found on 18/11/19! TFTC and a terrific view but a bit of a scramble amongst rocks!
Have flown down to Melbourne from Sydney for a 2 week training course at the Melbourne Tullamarine Airport Air Traffic Control Centre, but my main interest will be in collecting as many Victorian (VK3 in HAM radio terms) caches as possible during my free time away from the workplace. My primary caching target areas will be the Woodlands Historic Park (with it’s 100 plus caches), the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, the Outer Circle Railway Trail, the Donaldson’s Creek Trail, the Ruffey Creek Trail, Eltham (Diamond Valley Railway), and the suburbs surrounding my Essendon apartment. This was the 84th of 85 finds for the day, and the 167th of 242 finds for the trip.
With only one weekend available to me for private activities (between the two weeks of training) I planned to make the most of it with some serious caching activities lined up for both days. Today (Saturday) was to be the biggest day with a serious attempt at completing the mammoth "Woodlands 100" cache powertrail located around Historic Woodlands Park, which I had started doing on my Melbourne arrival day last Sunday.
After spending most of the day wandering around Woodlands Park for the "Woodlands 100" mega series I was now ready to head back to Essendon, but decided to attempt two final caches at Bulla, this being the first of the two.
Parked near the Tullamarine Live Steam Minature Railway and headed off towards GZ. At GZ I checked in a few spots before uncovering the hide and having CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Lovely views down to the township of Bulla, and of the historic bluestone bridge, from GZ. TFTC Master of the Dragon.

Grand views! Find this whole caching in the area, swapped a pin for a Lego. TFTC!
What a great view!
In the area today so decided to head here for our streak find. We weren't disappointed with that view. Nice to see the old bridge from a different angle.
Thanks Master of the Dragon. Cache easily found with spot in co-ords. Cache in good condition.

Last one for the day, not far from our weekend accomodation. One last walk to this outstanding overview. Took the obligatory photo of the scene below. SL at 6.42pm Left: glow eagle PT - who we are sure will love the view. #6016 TFTC Master of Dragon - well worth the walk!
Lovely location, would have been outstanding if the cache was an ammo can. Tftc
Came up for the market wasn't to sure if it would be safe to try and find this one but it was far away from the market no one could see me! Had amazing views from the site, I just there in the sun enjoying the weather, could of stayed longer but there are others to be found! And I scared a lizard sunbathing (well I hope it was a lizard)
A lovely afternoon caching with Geokid#5 - we may have dragged her along. Great view. A bit of bushbashing to get to cache but worth it for the view. TFTC.
Out and about with Claybol today as we both had a calendar date to fill , this was Find #1116 for me. we''d looked up from the river side and now we were looking down over the creek and the bridge. A lovely view that so many people would not know about including us , except we got to go geocaching! thanks for the location. a top spot.. and thanks for the cache, Master of the Dragon.
Find #1618 for me. Found at 11:45 am with jtnsilo. I'd tried for this one over a year ago after dropping the family off at the airport but for some reason abandoned it as I vaguely remember being uncertain of how to get to GZ. Or maybe the approaching storm put me off? In any case, I parked in exactly the same spot next to the oval today and we had no trouble getting in so maybe I had rocks in my head on my earlier visit. Wow, this really is a great location with fantastic views of the valley! It was also overcast and a lot cooler than I was expecting today making it very pleasant to linger here. We had no trouble finding the cache and all was in good condition at GZ. Thanks for bringing us here today Master of the Dragon and thanks for the cache!
Nice quick find overlooking a Stunning old bridge. I was Dow there a couple weeks ago on another airport trip and it’s well worth a drop in beside the river and just sitting for a while under the bridge. I love this area. What a hidden gem this spot is !
Lovely weather today. Visit Sunbury for the caching day from Melbourne. Found it. Good view of an old bridge and hilly surroundings. Thanks Master of the Dragon for the cache.
Easy find, was not hidden well, very nice view of the x's grandparents place, didn't know that the block was so big, it was a market garden in those days
Two weeks in Australia for holidays with Kirdec.
Last day in Australia, near Melbourne, we did our last caches on the way.
This one was out last cache in Australia, a nice view to finish our trip.
Quick found ... after having some difficulty to find the "good" entrance
Thanks for the cache.

Last day in Australia with Junkys.
Today we left Traralgon to reach Melbourne because we have our flight to come back In France tomorrow.
Of course, we found some cache on our way. Today it was a too hot day with sometimes, outside temperature at 40 degrees celcius !
It was our last day in this beautiful country.
It is the end of our holidays.

Last cache In Australia for us !
Last cache of our holidays !
The last one ! Found-it without any problem except we took at beginning the wrong road to park our car.
After this mistake, we found the good spot to park It.
We reached the GZ by foot and we looked the beautiful landscape In front of the cache.
Thank you Master of the Dragon for the cache and greetings from France.

No slithering friends today, just a grand view over the valley. We signed the log to the sound of planes landing and departing at Tullamarine Airport as we cached our way towards meeting our son in the Arrivals Hall later in the day. FP for the views.
Our thanks to Master of the Dragon for placing this cache.

On my way home from a morning ftf I stopped by thos beautiful spot to add a smiley to my map. TFTC
Found after a short search. Took nothing left nothing (unless you count all of the grass seeds now in my socks). I note a little possum having a rest in the cache. Great view in dying light - TFTC
A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Did the easier walk from the top (Have to come back one day for the miniature railway) GPS was jumping all over the place so just looked a bit harder found the cache signed the logbook enjoyed the view for a while
Thanks
Thanks
Having done 25 of the Woodlands Park caches, and gotten hailed on three times in the process, I've decided to retreat to some "park and grabs". Well - this one wasn't quite "park and grab", and the long grass got my second pair of shoes wet. Also, I was dumb enough to not bring my camera to this most magnificent view. FP deserved. Thanks heaps, Master of the Dragon!
1st cache for the 1st of the month... happy with the find and a nice decent bit of leg work... TFTC!
View is great!!
View is great!!
Stunning Views. Thanks Master of the Dragon for bringing me to this Place. Took plenty of photos. The creek was in flood today. TFTC.
Found after a steepish walk, I must admit I was a little out of shape after walking around Woodlands for the last six hours. Managed a quick find and took some time to take in the views and catch our breath. Thanks Master of the Dragon for the hide.
Found with Happy Pants. After walking around Woodlands most of the day, we still had enough in the tank to tackle this one, although if this was a fitness test, I failed dismally. It was all worth it though to see the magnificent view from the top. Thanks for bringing me here Master of the Dragon.
Great views, easy to walk in from up high. Found it at 3:29pm after work. Took a dinosaur, left a golf ball.
Lovely hide.
Lovely hide.
I was in the area tonight playing a darts semi final at the pub just up the road. Needing a cache today to keep to our goal of making all of our calendar coloured by the end of the year and this is the only cache without a smiley, I decided I should rectify the lack of a smiley.
I parked about 200m away from GZ and walked in as darkness was rapidly falling. When I got to GZ my GPS was very swirly and wouldn't lock in to a likely spot so I put the GPS in my pocket a relied on caching instinct and my trust torch. It wasn't long before I spotted something that looked likely and indeed it was my prize. I retrieved the cache, stamped the log book and returned all as was found.
I took a little time to look upon the view which is quite a sight even snapped a few photo in the darkness.
Thank you Master of the Dragon for the cache

Great view but a very steep 250m uphill - Tftc took a fish left a dinosaur. I'm gonna sit on this rock and enjoy the view for a couple of minutes.
Passing through the area on my way home from work and needed a short walk to stretch my legs.
Walked up from the bridge via the track to the right and returned via the track to the left. Huffed and puffed the whole way through... Great views, thanks for the journey.

What a beautiful view, especially on a nice Anzac Day. Spotted the hide pretty quickly despite getting to it in a roundabout way...that's what happens when you let the 7 yr old caching partner lead the way! TFTC
Made plans to head out with the family and na'wal. The plan was to achieve 100 in a day by completing the mount disappointment series then by going home via Sunbury and Melton. The daily total ended up being 113.
The day started with a car/truck collision on the freeway so we were stuck for around half hour and then back on our way.
What a challenge. We started walking towards the cache and soon realised we were out of room. Facing a cliff we had no choice but to try and walk around to find flatter surfaces. Nawal headed up one way and I stayed down but soon realised I was no where near close enough so walked around the other way to climb. Finally after huffing and puffing (I'm so unfit) we found the cache and the reserve that would have made a better parking spot and easier walk.
Log signed and replaced.

A plan was in place for Buzzsmc and myself to make our way back to the Mt Disappointment series for 61-130 and cache through Sunbury & Melton then head home. Our target goal was 100 caches in a day which we were able to fulfill and ended with 113 caches for the day with only 2 DNF's. After an early start, we got stuck on the Geelong freeway with a car and truck accident, after a 30 minute delay we were back on track and off and running for the day. A great day out, our thanks to the CO's for placing these caches.
We ended up making this cache a terrain 4. We came up from the bottom section along the goat track. We just kept climbing. Finally reached the top, almost out of breath. A few spots to search and we finally made the find. Nice views too. Signed and returned as found.
**Thanks for this trad cache, Master of the Dragon.** [^]
**Log and container in good condition.**

Found today while taking the children to the mini trains.
After riding the rails a couple of times it was time for a play in the park, seeing my window I left the children with the other adults and slipped away.
A quick find and a nice view.

Find number 1171. Third time lucky. First time I took the wrong track and ended up along the river. Second time I had to abort due to heavy rain. Today we took the steep walk up, only to find a much easier access near the miniature train track! Grrrr.... Will do the nearby cache, via this new access point next time we are in the area. TFTC

Catching up on some late, very late and extremely late logs (400 in all)
I would like to thank Master of the Dragon for placing this cache. I always enjoy getting out and about to view this great country of ours and caching allows me to do that. Once at GZ, I sometimes find the cache quickly but sometimes it takes awhile to sus out the well camouflaged hide. Once found, log is signed and the cache is rehidden as found.
Once again thanks Master of the Dragon.
