Went looking in all the wrong places. I was scratching my head and then realised I made it harder than it had to be TFTF
A very quick, easy find today. A great view over the river from across the road
TFTC! 10 June 2024 2:08:36PM 8191 thanks to VKC1SR for the cache! In Geelong for the weekend, and doing a bit of caching on our last day!
Beware Falling Rocks so says the sign at this locstat. Glad I bought my parasol with me. Rolling stones maybe, with that nearby incline. To have that etched on a sign might have been too expensive in copyright IP. Would also probably also lead to perpetual theft of Beware Rolling Stones signs. I would have as a teenager. I was cool, you see.
Dropping a geokid off just around the corner for a holiday clinic. Perfect opportunity to pick this one up which has somehow avoided my attention till now.Yes, another interesting corner of the neighbourhood to be introduced to. Thanks for the case. Unit in good condition.
What a stunning view looking down on the river and a lucky kayaker idling along Loved the container so,a FP for location as well TFTC VKC1SR
Spotted this one on the map while checking off some Adventure Lab points along the river. Thought we'd stop on the way back, but when we got near we realised that we were at the bottom of a cliff and the GZ was at the top with no easy way up. So it was back to the car, and a drive around some winding streets before we arrived at the actual GZ. We were wondering if the small fenced-off construction site was going to prevent us getting to the cache, but we were still able to access it. A quick find for me and the middle kid, based on the description of the cache.
According to middle kid, next time apparently we need to bring the footy to have a kick about - just hope it doesn't go over the edge! Thanks to VKC1SR for bringing us to a new area & a great cache.

Just by looking around you wouldn’t even imagine this used to be a tip or a quarry here, although there are piles of rocks heaped up near GZ, so maybe you could imagine it. When I got here there was a muggle parked nearby but I realised they weren’t going to see what I was up to. I walked across the road and had a look at the view with Geelong putting on quite a foggy morning. While I was sitting on the seat a couple of school children ran down the path on their way to school. Not long after I headed over to GZ to make a quick and easy find. The cache and log are in good condition and I sat on the nearby rock to sign the log all the while wondering if it was one that had fallen down the cliff. I returned the cache and made my way back to the car with the sun just starting to peek out of the clouds. It won’t be long and the fog will lift to reveal a beautiful day. TFTC
Nice quick find for us today!

TFTC. I took the hint to literally at first. Then I stood back and saw another potential hide spot and sure enough there it was.
Totally misled by the hint but Grub62 was good enough to find this cache. Also I had a lot of trouble finding the windmill. TFTC.
Bunadoorian and I had been looking for a public toilet and after using one nearby we decided we would find one more cache before finding lunch. We choose this one and then laughed that a public toilet was sooo near by.
I found the cache in good condition. TFTC and for bringing us here VKC1SR

**A quick cache run to Geelong**
Out and about making the most of the sunshine on a sunny but cool winters day.
Grabbed a coffee nearby and then headed off to grab a couple of caches and some photos. Cache was found quickly with good co-ords.
Thanks for the cache VKC1SR and for series. Appreciate your efforts.

Hint led me astray . Lovely view from here for sure but there is a bit of work going on atm.
Well, we cut it fine today. Six minutes to midnight was the time of this find. Where is the Windmill indeed! After running out of diesel in the geomobile and walking several kilometers to the servo, we made it into Geelong to find a cache. As we had found 999 Traditional caches until today, we decided that we would like to find a trad to round out an even 1,000 and tick one of the boxes for a challenge cache. There is excellent parking near this cache and the view tonight was lovely. We wandered across to GZ and found the cache quickly. The cache is in perfect condition. Thank you for this cache VKC1SR.
Found after looking at the wrong rocks and trying not to look suspicious to the muggles using the nearby oval. TFTC
Tricked me good and proper! Re-read the clue and opened my eyes lol. TFTC...

I’m about 99% sure it’s currently missing. Went there today and found nothing but found a lot of spots it could have been but now empty
Thanks for hiding this one. Only had a lipstick to sign with, sorry. Should have read the details before we left.
#1719. (Catching up with my logging in Jan 2020). A month or two ago I tried finding this but suspect it may have been muggled. Contacted CO who confirmed my suspicions but also advised me there had been a workaround put in place as a result. Tonight was my next chance to be in the area and sure enough the cache was there. Very sneaky! TNLNSL, visited TBs “Divine art project” and “Hev’s Secret”. TFTC VKC1SR.
A park and find on a day in Geelong unsuccessfully house hunting - cache was located in plain sight with torn logbook - placed it back in its position but needs maintenance - tftc
What a view and it’s even a beautiful day to boot. Quick find which is always appreciated! Tftc!
I need an experienced geocacher with me on this one please? My anixety was out of control and with current wet weather and high winds, I was not slipping into the unknown
I looked high and low but had no luck here for me today. Hope it will be replace by when I'm back again.
Thanks anyway

No luck. Looks like it might be missing as the most most likely place is missing.
Down this way for the Christmas events and went looking for this one between events.
I hope this one hasn’t gone missing again and that I was only cache blind today.
Thanks VKC1SR TFTC.

Couldn't find this one on my early caching days, as I paid too much attention to the patchy gps. Today it was a very quick find.

When l was about to give up my little apprentice cacher found it, he was mighty pleased with himself
Nice little drive by with one of the geokids to pick up todays streak find. He hasnt seen a hide like this yet so was most intrigued. Thanks for this placement, a really nice vantage point to look out over the river.
An ever increasingly familiar type cache. Still appreciate the thought/effort that goes into placing and maintaining these for our enjoyment

In Geelong for work so time for a quick cache or two on the way... stunning views on a glorious day! Many thanks for the cache
On my pushie, enjoying the beautiful day today and picking up some caches on the way. This was pretty sneaky, I had a look directly at it without noticing. Another couple of minutes walking around and I thought, "nah, it's got to be there". Went back and sure enough I'd missed it the first time. TFTC
In process of creating a new cache container as original is missing.
Should be in the next week or so

Seems our serial muggle has decided to totally remove the cache this time.
Will have to work out another container.

Not sure what was going on here but the most obvious hide spot was vacant.
I'll keep an eye out and return.

Unfortunately the log book was not there but put a pice of paper in there nice hide TFTC
What a great view! A quick drive by like stated in cache notes, but well worth the view! TFTC
After a couple of days of cache maintenance we decided to go caching. This was our first and a spot l had never been to, despite living in Geelong all my life. Great view and good coords narrowed down options, so we soon found this well constructed cache. Thanks.
The "Late at Night on the Last Day of Autumn Bicycle Geoprowl".
A win! Scoreboard: 2/3.
Thanks, VKC1SR! A cool spot - even if I couldn't see most of the view.

Unfortunately it was raining and dark when I swung by here, so couldn't enjoy the view as intended. I had an idea where the cache was and my thoughts proved correct. Cache & log in good order. TFTC VKC1SR.
Just catching up on the log for this one, can't believe I missed it!
Luckily for me, when hunting for this cache, I had already found one similar to this.
