It was wicked for the five minutes it lasted, but whilst I've tried to make it a keeper, I just don't seem to be able to make this one work. Sorry to those who were unable to find it due to it being missing!
I am now interstate so can't do maintenance and will have to archive, but if anyone wants to see if it's still there despite the last couple of logs, last time I fixed it I made it a TINY little clear plastic tube wedged into the top of the furthest pillar/pole of the wooden groin.....

It was high tide, we saw the cable ties but could not locate the cache. I think it needs to be low tide to get a ghold of this one!
Searched high and low for with two friends I'd introduced to Geocaching but we had no luck.
Found the cable ties quickly enough but couldn't see anything attached to them. I don't think these were the anchor points though since the cache is apparently hidden in a crack. Either way, nice location and absoloutely amazing weather!! We shall be back!!

Low tide so had a good look around but no joy. We found a couple of cable ties which may have been the anchor point? We did find two big starfishes there to greet anyone coming to look!
Sadly not today, perfect time for it too, the tide was out and noone was about, four pairs of eye's and no joy!..saw something that may have been an anchor point for it so maybe it's just not there?..oh-well..
Waaaaaaaaaaay, too cold for this pair today. I did consider dropping the jeans and trying my luck, but my man parts convinced my caching brain that it would be a very, very bad idea. Cool location, but no cache attempt for me today.
We were lacking a few things here today, mainly a towel, tweezers, and patience!
We did have something in excess though, that would be too much freezing cold water!
We'll be back in summer (or when I remember my drysuit!)
Thanks, Robmc.

Found it! Now that's the good news. The cache unfortunately had it's lid left open mean the log was as wet as wet can be. Couldn't even get it out with tweezers. I will try find a clean log and even container as I have one of those at home. For now the cache remains in it's hidey hole. Thanks for the cache. Happy to say I also didn't get wet
Didn't find this one but we all sure did have fun in the water trying.Came across some other cachers,no luck by all
No luck on this one
But it was sure refreshing to search for it
Plus met a bunch of Aussie Geocachers.
Greetings from Switzerland

I was with the others in a group trying to find this. Didn't find it, but was still worth getting wet for. The weather was beautiful, the water warm... good company What more can one ask for... naja maybe a *find* would have been nice too
Without really knowing what I was looking for think I covered just about every nook and cranny, but it was a struggle to get underneath the pileons, so may have missed it, but could have also been washed away if down that low.
Please DO NOT FORGET TO BRING TWEEZERS! I've tried a different type of cache container in the hope of keeping this one up and running!
Gone AGAIN!
Going to brainstorm one last time and see if I can keep this one going... Doesn't look good, though.
Sorry for the DNF's.

This time Alansee drew the short straw and in he went, pants rolled up, but alas we found nothing.
Quick and easy find at a nearly low tide with Slink1 on an afternoon jaunt caching. TFTC.SL

I just checked this cache because it was on the PQ. I even dared to go out there but high-tide wasn't helping. I had the cache in my hand but there was no way to sign without breaking anything. It was fun anyway

What a magnificent hide, we found it yesterday arvo / last night. We have never came across one such as this before. Inititially I positioned myself in an unsuitable area to find the cache. The I looked up, and GG was in the water searching from a different direction. Once I moved from my location, GG noticed something which seemed a little unnatural, this lead us to the cache. We had so much fun retrieving the cache, we just laughed and laughed and laughed. In fact we laughed for hours...We enjoyed the laugh so much, that we waited until low tide today to go back to return the cache...it was just hilarious. GREAT CACHE...and very happy that we did it. TFTC.
Ta, Oakydog - will check it out again more thoroughly at low tide. Will try the less lazy approach and take my shoes off! (Fancy not being able to find your own cache when it's fixed in place!)
I’m guessing its still there. It was very well tucked up, well out of sight when we (Just) found it on the third attempt
I went out today to check on the cache, after a couple of no-find reports. High tide didn't help me, but I'm fairly certain it is indeed missing. AGAIN! There might be a hint here for me, but I'm not going to take it - will endeavor to replace soon. Have an idea how to make this next one last a teensy bit longer...!

On a days caching activity in company with Squalid. After today’s activity we are now considering David for membership of the Brighton Icebergs. The initial approach was to search above water level and whilst unsuccessful, P-P managed to get a coating of bird droppings. Without any hesitation Squalid was into the water and after an initial adjustment to the cold conditions commenced searching, high and low, in and out, without any success. We think that a word that should be attached to “find” for this cache is “luck” and today Lady Luck was not with us. We’ll now monitor the situation with a view to a return visit.

Hmmmm..... Gave this a really good crack - if I'd removed one more item of clothing I could have logged "Nude up for a cache" Couldn't see it anywhere above or below the water.
Will check on it soon if no-one finds it in the mean-time. Hope it's not disappeared again already!
Found @ 12.50pm find # 232
Ya found it!!! On third attempt. What an awesome cache made more fun by having Unlukycharm along with me, We got soaked,we were frozen ,we ran up the beach and star jumped to get warm but we eventually found the well hid cache , took almost as much time extracting and replacing as it did to find it .we laughed and laughed all the way back to the car
Thanks TeamGoanna for a cache so far left of centre I’ve still got a grin on my face
Footnote; There is a GCA Trigpoint Whitecliffs TP5338 overlooking this cache, so why not make it a double find

Rated: for Overall Experience
Found with Oakydog didn’t give me any warning what I was in for, some bathers and wet suit would have been handy. Had lots of fun & laughs even with all the scratches we got

So excited about having a go at this one even though it looked like the biggest king tide of the year with rain pelting down wind blowing a gale,
I must have looked like I was walking on water as I balanced my way out to GZ .Not sure what I was looking for and when my core body temp dropped dangerously close to zero it was time to call off the search and try again tomorrow or next low tide
Not going to call this a DNF just yet as I haven’t finished searching I'm just warming up a little

Yee-ha! Back in action.
(Took a bit to fix up - sleeve covered in stinky sea-bird poop and freezing cold by the time I was finished, but was exciting to get it done! Hope it lasts a little longer this time!)
Good luck all, and hope you enjoy.
Cheers,
Team Goanna.

Been waiting for this one to come back on line. My only log for this neat little cache would be: Brrrrrrrrr
FINALLY got hold of a suitable container again... Excited that I'll be out to rig this one back up over the next week!! (Sorry for the hold-up!)
How this one going [?] sooooo disappointed I didn’t have a crack at this cache when I had the chance
I hate having to report that we could not find the cache and we bumped into another cacher and he agree'd that it wasnt there.
Without giving it away, the clip was but nothing on it.

waded out to location and found what I thought was it , sorry just part of , back to put shoes back on and saulman1010 and his troop arrived to confirm my findings, pity as I was really intrigued as to how a waterproof a cache container was.. I'll return later to see?

Gee. I expected this one may get muggled, but already!?
Sorry for the no-find then, guys.
Will replace it in the NY when I can get hold of a similar container.
May have to rig up a better way to hide it, too...
Hmmm; I have an idea...

This was cache # 13 in my Mornington Peninsula Caching Trip. I took an old pair of shoes and popped them on in the car park. I parked near the Lime Kiln, so I checked it out on my way to the cache.
When I arrived at GZ, the tide was right out, and the shoes were not required. The cache clip was easily visible so it was a nice quick, dry find. My thanks to Team Goanna for the cache and some time at the beach on a beautiful day.

3TF this evening. We decided to attack this one at low tide, and I'm pleased we did. Could be tricky at high tide. Thousands of jelly sausages all along the beach, which added to the fun. Found in a likely spot, just wonder if it will survive the busy summer coming up? Finished of our visit to this great stretch of beach with some artistic rock balancing. Thanks for the fun cache!
***** FTF *****
Unbelievably, at 4.30 this afternoon we achieved our third FTF this week. When we saw it come up yesterday morning (we don't generally see emails timed at 11.31 pm until morning!) we thought that after two Firsts and a Second earlier we shouldn't push our luck. And Mrs has a quilt to finish before Christmas. No FTF logged by this morning, still not by early afternoon, gee, we can't leave as unfound a cache so carefully and thoughtfully placed (reading between the lines and we were right!). And we need to get out for fresh air and a walk sometime, don't we? It's probably a late log but let's go see anyway. The rest is history (what a cliche!). There was a slight hitch, though, when we saw a group of muggles practically sitting on top of where the GPSr said it should be. A walk nonchalantly past and up the hill took us to a great view of the yachts racing in the Bay and a Triangulation Station - now what have I read we can do with that? Took the details. Muggles gone, we returned and ... A great hide, Team Goanna, we (well, Mrs) had a bit of fun extracting it, thank you.
