Logs
We had intended to retrieve the cache from the middle of the lake, but have been unable to find a solution. So sadly, and as we are currently os, we are consigning this cache to it's watery demise

Oh no! I wonder if I jinxed it by mentioning that I probably would have rolled into the pond while retrieving it? Maybe it heard it and thought it was be a good idea. Oops.
Thanks quiet1_au and Seegs for the dnf's. After receiving both these logs this morning I went and checked and it is missing. Cache container does look like it is possibly floating out of reach. Will try and locate a swimming pool cleaner to try and reach so that the cache can be restored
Good on ya Earthbound Chief! I had the same problem, one of my cache's had 3 DNF, so i thought i had better check it out, sure enough, it was muggled! Its funny that this should happen to Cluster Buster, as I was going to head out today for another look for it, but after seeing someone else could not find it, I thought hmmmm.....

Searched all over the structure @ GZ where the GPS was sending me and nearby too but no luck. My brother spotted something floating in the pond (out of reach of course) which I fear looked suspiciously cache-like - hope we're wrong about that!...
Forgot to log this visit. Called in on a short morning of caching, between dodging the muggles, was unable to locate cache in what I considered a typical hiding area. Has it gone for a float, did the ducks think it was something interesting? Needless to say, I spent around 15 minutes poking around, but was unable to locate the cache.

#15 What a fantastic little park! I loved it! I might go back there one of these days if it is sunny and just read a book for a bit or talk with the ducks. Better not take Mr.P with me though as when he quacked at the ducks, they immediately flew away. I said to him that he probably told them to Duck off! *LOL*
Anyway, we went to this park about lunchtime and tried to find the cache with no luck. At home I read through the logs and others mentioned that the coordinates are a bit off.. so, we went back at dark and found it easy.. ok, maybe the retrieving it wasn't so easy. I am sure that if I had done it, I would have rolled into the pond . Fortunately I have mr.P to do all the 'dirty work'.
TNLN TFTC!

Quick cache and dash this evening, was in the first place I looked. Lovely little park and it even has its own very noisy ducks! TFTC
Easy find on the way home from work. Nothing to take, but I left an American quarter. With the exchange rates the way they are, it should be a good find. TFTC. [:-)]
Right time for us as no muggles around as mugglies kids are still at school.. Found it with Everlasting. TFTC
Accompanied with crank1 - she found it before me. SL. Thanks Earthbound Control
At first we searched on the wrong side of the bridge, then checked the other side and found it quickly. TFTC.
Out and about with Toy car after attendind a special dance practise in the area.
We found the coords a little out but well soon realized that there are two sides to a bridge. Pretty little park and lucky enough not many people now as the sun is going down.

Xambo4U and I were practicing some Square Dancing at a nearby hall. When finished we decided to do some of the nearby caches.
This was our seconded cache, found at 6.00PM.
Initally we were searching the wrong side of the object because all our GPS units were pointing to that side. Xambo4U went to the other side and found it quickly.

Spent this very windy afternoon caching with my oldest boy. Found cache no problems. TNLNSL. TFTC.
On teh rounds with the Wife and Kids. This was a pleasant spot to play and rest. Sat back and had a bite to eat while we contemplated the hiding spot. Such a high muggle area today. We were able to retrieve the cache with the help of the kids just playing. A pleasant day and a fun find.
Found at 1.25pm with all the family. Kids enjoyed running round the park and seeing the ducks. Cache retrieved by Wild. TNLN. TFTC

Stopped at nearby Macca's for a quick bite.
I was thinking of calling it a night until I worked out this cache would be my 300th find.
A quick dash to this nice park and find.

Found @ 4.55pm 3rd for the day, Nice little park, the pond needs a bit more water in it. Geokid sat under the bridge and watched the ducks for a while TNLN TFTC.
Third in a row by Earthbound Control. Keep up the good work. I took a brooch and left a Bali surf board. It just fitted!
Found by Mary & David at 1620. We enjoyed this park and the resident friendly ducks. Our thanks yet again to Earthbound Control.
The ducks were having a grand old time swimming about and didn't seem to mind me ducking in and grabbing the cache from under their noses. Ok, that was bad!
Cheers,

18-01 2nd find of the day at 15:00 and 819th find in total.
Very friendly ducks you have here.
We found the cache very easy and went to the bench to write the log. While we were on the bench some of the ducks even came right up to us to lend a beak.
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks Earthbound Chief for the caching fun!

After upsetting one of the local muggles by daring to go down his precious private road, it was thankfully a quick easy find in mid 30 degree heat. TNLN SL TFTH.
BTW, does anyone know why there are two footpaths on the same side of the road along the stretch as you enter the estate? The paths connect at the park and I doubt one is for cyclists.

Have been surprised by the really nice little parks discovered while knocking off a few caches in this area while on a shopping expedition to DFO.
Easy cache, nice day, what more can I say!

This was our 12th of 14 caches today and was located at 15:35. This is a lovely park, with quite a few amenities. It looks like the lake used to have a lot more water in it than it does now, but the ducks seemed to still be enjoying it. The cache was quickly retrieved and the log signed. We had to wait for a couple of kid to pass on weird looking skateboard's before we could replace it.

Thanks Earthbound Control for another enjoyable cache.

I cannot believe my good fortune that this lovely park was not being used at all at lunchtime today.
I was fully expecting to walk away empty handed here if muggles were about. Instead I got to log your cache.
What luck
Thanks

A great little find, but felt very exposed at the Gz. TFTH....SL....LN...TOOK Pirate GC
This was a quick find in a nice park which for some reason (luckily for us) was deserted. Oh except for the friendly ducks awaiting feeding; sorry guys, we're not allowed to give you bread these days, you're on your own. Left a greenie and a geocoin. TFTC.
Geokids had the cache within the first few minutes of arriving, then proceeded to play at the nearby equipment while I signed the log. TFTC. KeMS

My sister-in-law lives nearby, but I hadn't seen this cute little park before and I'm glad I was able to park pretty close as it was pretty hot by now. The plantings seem to indicate that the water level is not intended to be much higher here - but if it did, it may be difficult to retrieve the cache.

Thanks again Earthbound Control - a really nice little park

Very windy today so apart from having to find a stick to retrieve my hat from the pond as it blew off and a wait for some muggles. No problem here. TFTC
Found 17:00, this one could be a little tricky after a descent down pour.

This was the last cache of 4 Earthbound Control caches on a quick caching trip. Despite being a lovely day, and in school holidays, the park was empty. Another nice quick find. My thanks for this cache and for the others done today.
Could have been an easy find except for a young mum sitting at some nearby tables. We had to time our retrieval with her movements so we could get out of there quickly. Which we did. Thanks for the cache.
We found this cache at 10:45am as the 5th of 11 on our Earthbound by the Bay morning. Yet another Samantha (the TomTom) error as she did not know that Tootal road now joined onto the roundabout. Once realised it was too late to avoid a U turn. At GZ 9 y.o. "A" was just the right height for this one and collected his third find. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.
This was cache # 7 of 37 for the day, In the company of Alansee, on our second tour of the Bayside suburbs and Mornington Peninsula. This was a great looking park with some ducks about, I spotted the cache and Alansee did the honors of retrieving it. My thanks to Earthbound Control for the cache.
Found on a wet but generally enjoyable day out caching with Acts2YouthGroup. This was in a rather nice park and there were a few older ducklings who got excited about our presence. Cache was found quickly in a caching hide. Thanks to Earthbound Control for the cache.
"Bring a basketball, a blanket, a picnic, a bottle of wine, a good book or good company and maybe, maybe even the geo-kids!"
Well one out of seven is not too bad!
No duck either at this time of night, but the frogs seem to be having a good time.
Thanks, Robmc.

Almost slipped in after I retrieved the cache - lucky, I don't think Robmc would have been impressed with a wet car.
Met up again with Ezri TB - good to see she has moved on from where I saw her last.

*FTF* bearsleys on a cool Saturday morning.
"Off you go, I'm sleeping in" says Geomum.
Geogirl and Geodad on an early morning mission... a bridge and tree climb, and forage around the park. We keep a hopeful eye out for the other usual FTF suspects.
Another family is out this morning; a string (fleet? leash? daggle?) of eight ducklings from a nearby swimming pool follows mother duck across across the road and into the pond.
Apparently a cache can never have too many McDonalds badges. We dropped in a happy german pig geocoin... burgermaster meets burgermeister.
Thanks Earthbound crew!
