Was an easy find when I found it but there have now been a string of DNFs. Owner has not logged in for 18 months. Doubt this will be replaced.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Sorry looked in all trees even where the big hole at bottom of tree was and couldn't find it.
Didn't find this time. If it is on the ground then I am sure is must have gone as you can see that there has been lots of water down the creek recently. Will try again next time we pass.
The cache was an easy find as the camo had slipped off and it was left there exposed, though I doubt many muggles wander around here .
Of far more interest was the fantastic set of ruins about 350m south of the cache. Some great pioneering ingenuity on show here and we spent ages poking around them. Of course we left nothing but footprints and took nothing but (a lot of) photos [^].
Cheers frankos4. Thanks for bringing me here .

Great spot! Have passed it by many times without knowing there was hidden treasure to be found!
A nice little adventure on a wide detour during my trip from Whyalla to Adelaide.
Staying nearby we couldn't leave without finding this cache. Cache was half full of water, but the logbook was fairly dry in its snaplock back. I replaced the container with something more waterproof.
Second time around found it straight away. Tftc. Has let in water at some stage.
The cache contents are wet and although the log book was protected by a snap lock bag it is damp and moldy.
The grader had recently done the road and it was a joy to spin through the hills. Beautiful drive.
This one all good to go again. Thankfully the bushfire didn't reach this far. However the devastation left by this fire is unbelievable no words can describe it. Dropped in a TB to continue on it's way. Had a kangaroo to greet us good to see the wildlife returning.
Have diasble this for a short period. Currently there is a bushfire burning out of control and roads have been blocked off. Will check on this when more information comes to light and relist when appropriate to do so. Thanks.
A great day driving around the bush to find caches today...found it after short search. Thanks frankos4 for bringing us to nice scenic drive and seeing old building ruins.
Maintenance check performed following the Up Mambray Creek Event. Well hidden under some bark. All good set for the next cacher to find.
Looked for a good 30 minutes, all 6 of us. Had 3 gps units and couldn't find it. Looks like lots of water has been through recently! Excellent location!
I had to resort to an unusual help line to find this cache. I lookeed around unsuccessfully and on turning on my Oregon 300 to get the cache details I realised that I had done something that had upset it and no information was forthcoming. Just then a fellow cacher rode around the corner (she didn't stop for this cache) and I was able to steal a quick peek at her GPSr which gave me enough to go on with. After that the cache was found in quick time.
Thanks for the cache frankos4.
Thanks for the cache frankos4.
Sorry Bowz2, The cache is there but well hidden. You probably stepped on it at one point. Cache replaced as quite waterlogged. Replaced with exact same type of container. Happy Caching.
Dry weather only road...
Hmmm... was dry when we started
Slippery and wet soon after as it started to rain half way along the track
We were commited, Geolux loved it..
Got to GZ Wet feet no cache in sight
Searched around spat it and slipped on out without a find...
Is it still there??? [?]
The creek has been running

Found on a sunday drive with Busy B. sl . The cache is in good condition. Thanks Frankos4
We travelled this road from Quorn all the way to Wilmington. A much more enjoyable trip than taking the bitumen.
A quick easy find, thankfully, as we were starting to become pressed for time.
Thanks frankos4.

Rated: for Overall Experience
Drove today to check on this one to see if still in place following the heavy downpours over recent weeks. However on approach 2x cars on side of road and people searching nearby so waved and continued on. Depending on postings over the next week if any. Will possibly return to checkout after JJJ long weekend event.
An easy drive by find on my way back down south after having driven to Leigh Creek.

We certainly did. We also collected a cocky off the road, appeared to have been hit by a car. Geo son likes to try and save every thing. Sadly it passed away that night. But we lived to see another cache. This road would be a challenge for a 2 wheel drive in winter. But fun!!!! TFTC
We enjoyed the drive to this cache, it's a lovely area and another silver for us. Thanks frankos4 for the surprise in the cache.
Magnificent Drive from Wilmington, however would be easier if cache approach was from Quorn, Lots of sun glare.
However lots of Fauna sighted, Parot’s, Emu’s, Kangaroo’s and lots of sheep on the road.
Put my mustering skills to the test, passed that one..
Found cache at 19:30 hours, Sun going down.[^]
Very pleased to get FTF and that special award, Many thanks, [8] mean’s a lot to the geokids, Two more to go.
Dropped in TB for a visit.
