Could not find it, notes suggest there is no longer one here? Can anybody confirm?
This is gone and was replaced with something else (not a cache). Don't worry about this one
Its not here!
I crawled all over the two logs at GZ, nothing at all. As others have noted there were a few places it could have gone, but nothing. GZ has had a makeover with a large, very well constructed fire pit made, with it seems half the log collected as firewood in a large pile.

The recent history of DNF's was not encouraging, but I wandered down the hill to take a look. I spent around 10-15 minutes exploring but in the end came up empty handed.
Time for CO check me thinks.

I fear that this cache may well be MIA. After an extensive search, from what appears to be a logical location, I came up empty handed. But seeing as there are a couple of recent fire pits here now that seem to have been well occupied, I think one can be pretty sure that the cache may have succumb to muggledom.
A straightforward find, thanks. It’s nice on this side of Urambi with less people!
Out for a walk to regain fitness after knee replacement surgery. Hard work but rewarding.
I am Grumpy!
In memory of THEOLDREV.

Quite a steep climb, great view though. Not too hard to find as long as you follow the hint!
That was a nice easy find for the 5yo geokiddie. He had been sad that he didn’t find the others today. Tftc!
Out on another Walking For Pleasure walk around Urambi Hills and this cache just happened to be located near our stopping point for "morning tea" so it was easy enough for me to make a quick detour for an even quicker find. TFTC - I still need to come back for a few more in the general area, but at least this is one down...
P.S. I just read the description for the cache after getting home and saw the mention of replacing the camo. There was no camo evident when I found the cache and I left as it was found. I expect it is pretty safe regardless, but future finders might like to add some additional camo.

Trig sibs thanks for the find. Good condition, quite a steep decent to location.
A long day caching in Canberra that started with a park run at Lake Tuggeranong, some caches in the lake area and then a move all over Canberra to end up at the event at the southern cross club. Lots and lots of walking and even more hills, but that's no surprise in Canberra. Secretly I actually like the hills and the views that come with it. Only a few DNF's today, my bad and all caches were in good condition! Thanks to all the owners for placing them.

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listened as the crowd would sing,
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you'd gone there was never
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the world
It was a wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know St. Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh [5x]

My first find. Didn't have any data so took screenshots of the map and found where the marker was by the land features. Nice spot for it, and thanks!
This morning I got up & headed to the hills for a long overdue walk. Urambi is nice & close to home & a few caches dotted around make for some caching as well.
On the steep approach from Upper Urambi, I spotted a likely GZ, but the phone was pointing about 10m away, so I ignored it & trusted my instinct & made a quick find. Nice hide, TFTC.

Followed the lower track, then up the hill to find this cache. Everything OK.
Thanks,
Thanks,
F(H)ound it! #2590 @ 1:25 PM
I walked around the side of the hill which I don't recommend. My feet got very tired of being on a relentless angle all the time. And the Ridgeo-pup gave me a workout trying to drag me at the end of the lead to chase kangaroos.
As we were climbing back up she stepped on a stick which curled up just like a snake striking her. Man did I scream! I heard it echoing off the Brindies. At least the adrenaline rush gave me the energy to complete the climb.
Thanks for the cache, puddle gang, very nice hide and in good condition.

Took to the hills Southside again, the last night working late offsite. Surprised!! Will go to a great cause fundraising at my Son's school, purchasing schools equipment for kids with Dyslexia. Thanks Thatdav3. TNLNSL TFTC
Coords were about 11m out for me today but with the hint, it was easy to figure out where this was. I did record some updated coords and will try to remember to post them when I find them. No problems with the cache. TFTC
Bit of a climb down the hill from a lively spot up the top. Cache is all good. Tftc!!!
The old knees were protesting a bit but it is just so beautiful out here it's worth it. Currawongs the only creatures breaking the silence and lots of yellow rumped thornbills in the area. I echo Aquilus' sentiments - thanks for bringing me out here.
After visiting the three nearby caches on the hills above, down the hill I went. Wasn't too far into the descent and the quietness was very noticeable with the sound of the traffic heard above buffered from the hill side. At gz cache was found well and in good condition with just a bit of old mold marks but dry and added my name for the first finder of the year. Don't need to be on top to appreciate the views, their good here too, sounds of birds and distant frogs and just quietness! Today I had an enjoyable walk around in the area collecting the caches as I went all offered something a bit different but all took me somewhere I'm glad to have visited. Lots of curious kangaroos in the area on the way back to the nearby car in Meredith Circuit, and the trail from the cache there was an easy way back after the many steeps ups from above! Thanks for the cache puddle gang.
I find this one today. The log had been wet before, but is dry enough to write on. A blackberry was trying to grow into the access area, but I cut it back.
Tftc. Walked here from Neighbourly Neighbours, what a view from the top. Beautiful spot, thanks for bringing me here.
Found this one being guarded by five two-headed monsters. It's a good breeding season for the roos. TFTC
What a gorgeous place! I do love it around here. I liked this cache enough to leave behind a very special pink rhinoceros beetle. TFTC
We were on a beautiful walk/run today to collect a few smiley faces to add to the collection. This was such a great spot. Absolutely beautiful views of a trail below which we know well.
The sun was shining on this winters day and there was a light breeze. After signing the log it was off to collect another.
Thanks puddlegang,
Domsky

Took a very indirect route here due to leaving my pen at a previous cache. Rookie mistake. Retrieved the pen and headed to this cache. The logbook was very damp but still signable. Tftc
Found on a lovely morning walk on Urambi Hill. We've been meaning to get the two traditionals at the top of this hill for a while, so it was nice to finally find these caches. Once we got to the top, we admired the FABULOUS views over Tuggeranong and beyond - it was amazing! Then we took a short stroll down the hill again to this GZ, where we were presented with a different viewing perspective of the area - very pleasant! Once we got there, it was a quick find. Cache is in good condition, but the log was slightly damp - we were still able to sign it though. TNLNSL. TFTC puddle company!
Found 4:41 pm. When I saw where this was I almost didn't do this cache. I decided from the top near the trig to go and do another nearby cache and along the way to it I noticed a track down in saddle of the mountain leading down. The way back I decided to head down this track to this cache. Once at GZ it was a pretty quick find. The log book was rather damp. I signed the log. Aired it for a moment and then returned the cache back to where I had found it. Thanks for the cache. Now to do the hard slog back up the mountain.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Easy find, even though it was after sunset. The logbook is pretty damp, but one can still write on it. tftc
Third of six caches for the day with TikvaNZ. #1002 and day #299 straight. We decided to hit these Urambi caches and clean them up on a beautiful winter's day. It included a Sol de lune cache which was #1000 for me.
On the nice, flat iPhone, this looked like a simple walk from the last cache, but looks are definitely deceiving! 300m straight down the side of the hill. I guess the easy terrain rating does not apply if you come from the top (and then head back up the hill again for more caches)! TikvaNZ had the cache in hand before I even arrived at GZ. TikvaNZ got lots of rests on the way back up the hill while I caught my breath
Thanks puddle company for the cache and the exercise!

An afternoon out caching with AngelG27 to celebrate her 1000th find. After finding it (Chinese Counters), we continued on to clean up the other trads on this hill. We approached this one from the saddle above. Quickly found, then it was a slog back up the hill. TFTC

Last time I was looking for this geocache I had the cords wrong and was looking in the wrong area. DOH..! This time the cords were spot on for a quick find. The logbook is very damp and needs to dry out. Hard to sign the log.
#622. 205 days in a row.
I'm finally catching up on logging my finds from earlier in the year. I hope I've got all the dates right, but I've definitely found all of these caches and kept my streak going as long as I'm logging.

The fourth find whilst riding around the area. With the bike safely secured at the trig, I was free to head down the hill to grab this one. The walk back up was a killer! Once I arrived at GZ, I noticed the cache was out in the open. Log signed and then I replaced the cache where I thought it should go. TFTC puddle company!
the walk back up from here was a bit brutal, but I didnt mind the trouble required.. made a little trade, signed the log and I was on my way.. cheers!
Found today on a walk with the Canberra Bushwalk Club. The walk wasn't going this way so I got up early from our morning tea stop to come up to make the find. Nice hide in a beautiful spot - TFTC
A Canberra Bushwalking Club ramble on Urambi Hills with Canberra's social media queens. A very quick find, thanks to Kittykatch, then back to my responsibilities. Trip report at http://www.johnevans.id.au/wp/?p=5567 . TFTC.
Third of six for the day. Zipped down from the saddle above. This cache wasn't really hidden...
Slogged right back up the hill to the Upper Urambi cache...

Out to grab a couple caches for the afternoon made it to GZ and found the cache. TFTC
Quick find thanks to the hint. Was going to continue on from here and do other caches in the area but the rain was well and truely coming down by now so decided to head home.
