Checked on the cache today and sure enough some kind soul has removed the cache and left a cigarette butt in its place . Seeing as we won't be in Brisbane next year, we have decided to archive the listing. It would be great to see another cache in this beautiful spot.
Out & about doing some of the Monster Lane trail & took a little detour to get this one. Approached GZ & saw something that looked not quite right. Soon had cache in hand in an oddly familiar container . TFTC lokipagan
Decided on an early morning raid on some of the caches in the area, found many hard to grab as a lot of muggles in town so early making it a wait and grab. Such a beautiful area to visit. TFTC
We were lucky today, no one sitting on the bench, which was a great spot for us to sit and sign the log and also admire the views. We took a little while to find this one for some reason, but once we read the hint we were onto it very quickly. The houses along here are lovely too; it's hard to know which way to look; the view or the houses! TFTC.
What a lovely spot! Had to use our best stealth as a group were picnicking just beside the bench. Using a photo opportunity, was able to grab the cache!

I was walking the trail below so thought that I might have to pass this cache by then I saw the way up and found my way to GZ. Lovely views and a great spot here. TFTC, Biggles.
Easy find for GeoSquire2 and GeoSquire3. Nice weather today. TFTC and the view!
Found at 1:03 PM GAFF1. There was a breeze today - which picked up quite considerably later on. However at this time of day it was welcomed and quite cooling. We had a high tide view and as a mater of fact there were signs on the road warning of a King Tide which would cause water to come on the road!
Thanks lokipagan.
Thanks lokipagan.
#69 find of the day after cycling round the Monster Lane trail. Unfortunately it was dark so could fully appreciate the view by the distant lights reflecting off the water was still a nice view. Found cache quickly and log signed. Tftc.
Nice afternoon caching the beautiful Sandgate water with visiting Victorgrs3. Fantastic view! TFTC
Enjoyed a caching trip around Sandgate today many thanks to the CO's for the many great cache placements which took us to many interesting locations. Great spot. Greetings from NZ. TFTC.
Quickly located the cache, signed the log, and replaced with camo. TFTC. Nice sea views.
The cache was quickly spotted; I hope the covering stays in place. Thanks lokipagan.
You don't have to go over but can you go under? I found myself on the wrong side so took a short?cut through the wall of sticks.
TFTC!

Found, while in the area checking out the bike trail.
Cache in good order, well hidden.
Thanks, lokipagan for the hunt.

Big day caching. This is my last one. My biggest caching far so far and made 300 too. Tftc
on the way back to Brisbane. Finished work around 3.30 pm and walked till dark along the promenade in Brighton. Cache No. 34 to 50 done on foot. Be careful at 45, Breading and panting lorikeet inside the hole, see my note! Afterwards dinner at Woody PointTFTC
A wonderful day out today to be caching, cool, clear and calm. Xusia and I had to pass this one below but decided to double back some time later and attack it from the right angle. The walk up the hill in the nearby street was a bit ouchy after a long walk from Brighton Park. As we got closer I spotted the hide, grabbed the cache with no big issues and we retired to the seat to sign the log, that lovely view in the background. TFTC lokipagan
Took a while but with my 2 geoSons (grimeraunt273 & sunshinecache93) we finally found it....
Quick find with help of MstrCam! Wonderful view, but the rain was coming down. TFTC!
It was a beautiful Easter Sunday morning so we packed the kids into the car and went off to visit Shorncliffe pier . There were too many muggles around so we called it quits but not before we stopped off at this cache . Gorgeous view! Thanks for bringing us here . All is good with this cache and no ants in sight . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH lokipagan .
Nice little area here with a great view! Everyone sat on the nearby chair while I retrieved the cache and signed the log. Very nice weather this morning which made for a fantastic view and a great caching experience. TFTC lokipagan.
[limegreen]Today we travelled to Rainbow Beach.
On our way we stopped here on this nice walk.
This little tradi we coudn´t leave out.

My first find as FortaDragon, all was good at the cache today, no ants to be seen. TFTC lokipagen.
We checked on the cache today and not an ant to be seen. Clearly they are there intermittently as the last few finders have reported, however they certainly haven't taken over the cache or GZ. After looking around, we decided that to move the cache would require a considerable shift in location that would detract from the original purpose of the cache - to admire the view. So the cache remains in original position.
Please be aware that ants may be encountered when attempting this cache. If you are not comfortable retrieving the cache with ants present, perhaps give this cache a miss. Please take particular care if you have any history of anaphylactic reactions to insect bites.

The local ants have decided the cache container makes the perfect centrepiece for a new nest. GZ is literally covered in ants and it took some time to get my hand into the location to retrieve the container.

There sure was a breeze today, bigger than usual ants, ants and more ants tftc
12/01/13 Find #982
A quick and easy find today (I was in the area a few week ago and quickly looked for the cache, however it must not have been there at the time).
Great views from this location. Today there were many parasurfers out on the water, and I took the time to watch some of the activities as I signed the log.
Cache was returned and covered to hide it from view.
Thanks for the cache, lokipagan.

Found it. TFTC. 2nd cache for the day with roxy1993. Very quick and easy find with great views.
This one had gone . Have replaced with a new container. Hopefully not being watched by an overzealous muggle :/
Had impatient peeps with me had to go. Mind you I did have a thorough look.
Thanks
Thanks
Pleasant wander through this waterfront buffet of caches today with Nurseyjulie
We arrived here as the nearby boys' school erupted with a steady flow of knobby kneed adolescents ... Then waited for a break in the foot traffic!
Terrific little cache and nice, easy find at GZ. so glad you suggested not to plummet over the edge

A pleasant walk along the cliff to the cache and yes there was a breeze that day. TFTC
The log is full. We have a new one here ready to go but can't get out there immediately. We first heard about the log 7 days ago so give us a week or two to get to replace this one. In the meantime, I have disabled the listing.
This needs a new log sheet too. Only one more small space for a log and that's it.
A nice sunny day and a great day out caching.
So many lovley parks and picnic areas for families.
Quick easy find as it was very exposed. So covered it better.
The Log is Full

Lovely easy find after a rather frustrating day of cache hunting. Great spot. Wish the cache was a little bigger so I could have left a trinket though.
One of 225 finds during a Brisbane and back drive. Went to Brisbane for 5 days with my family flying up and back while I drove with a car load of stuff for our working holiday. Well a holiday for me and my boys while Leanne had a wedding expo to attend, but we did manage to get to Sea World for a day, where we had a great time, before they flew back.
After some caching in Melbourne it was on to Tocumwal for the night then two more days to Brisbane. Five days there then the same trip back but in reverse. A total of 4516 km travelled with 225 caches found and even a couple of interstate FTFs along the way. The trip turned out to be a trial run almost for a Solar eclipse / Cairns trip I'm doing in November.
After caching in Melbourne I made my way to Tocumawal where I stayed the night then made my way just south of Goondiwindi, crashed in the car at a truckstop. Up at about 8:00 the next morning and soon hit the road again to make my way to the Gold Coast via Warwick.
Found a place to stay then headed out to do the GCPT series which was only about a kilometer from where I was staying. Off to Brisbane today, hotel check in then onto the Monster Lane series before heading to the airport to pick up the fam.
A nice quick find I had to come back to as muggles were about on the first pass.
Thanks lokipagan.

While enjoying the view out over the bay the cache was easily spotted in its resting place. There was a very pleasant sea breeze up here on what was the hottest day in Brissie after winter.
TFTC we made a mistake with navigation and resolved it and found it later in the day which was good.
An opportunity to go out today and get some great caches. We love the different hides and containers we encountered and we had a most enjoyable day..
Thanks to lokipagan.
Thanks to lokipagan.
Nice area for a cache and it was soon spotted. Always nice to have a seat to do the paperwork. Thanks.
This was the first cache of a lovely morning for me. After school drop off I went to caffeinate at my favourite cafe, and then drove up here to find this one. A quick easy find, lovely view too even though it's overcast today. Thanks for the cache.

Together with tinflaida I did this circuit with a little handy bike. It was nice. Äh. On this cricuit we found some other caches as well. Thanks for this last big hunt in Australia
I did the monster lane with dokfrank on a hired pocketbike. It was realy something special to find so many boxes. On the way we found some other boxes. Thanks for showing us this little part of Australia
Geo dad and Geo son went to find this one whilst the rest of us played at the park. They said it was an easy find.
Found with matty87punk. We didn't have a pen on us so no note was left in the book
Good find. Beautiful place

As Bettyboo mentioned, we thought we were going to find this one while doing the Monster series - not quite at the right altitude! We came back later, and parked at the top of the cliff, and walked across the grass to a quick find. Bit of a cool breeze blowing off the ocean today.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
# 954. We thought this might be on the way during the Monster series but soon discovered it was "up there". OK, had better come back to it later. I don't think sea breeze quite explains it - more like a freezing wind, yet down below was lovely. Thankfully, a quick find was made here so we could head to somewhere warmer. TFTC
We had lunched not so far from this spot and with the weather just perfect a huge number of people were out and about today.
A nicely hidden cache
Thanks

Hubby & I, kid free for the first time in 6 months - with the sun was shining, we headed along the trail on the geobikes.
Found cache whilst completing a series nearby. We signed log, replaced carefully for next finder.

Thanks for the beautiful views and breeze at this cache.
