Didn't find it unfortunately. A lot changed down there after the June 2021 storms. So maybe it got removed or buried in vegetation. Might be a good time to recheck it, due to no find since may 2021.
What a lovely drive up to these waterfalls. Unfortunately it seems like the cache is no longer there.
Great coords for out here. Amazing spot! I can seriously imagine having a swim here. The drive from camp rumbug through saw km after km of giant tree ferns. Spectacular and incredibly calming. Tftc. Wrapped in another plastic bag as a little damp otherwise all good
Visiting Mirboo North for the weekend and enjoyed doing a bit of exploring. Haven't been to Turton's Creek for years and enjoyed the spot very much. TFTC.
Exploring today with Genghicat brought us to Turton Falls. It's a lovely spot. We took a walk down the track to find a beautiful spot full of tree ferns and people free. After a break and numerous photos we once again made our way back to the falls. I would love to see this after a good wet season.
As for the cache, we found it spread across the ground, so we picked everything up, signed and found some bark to cover it. Hopefully it stays intact for a little longer. Tftc

Recorded no.3 on the log in brown pencil. Picked up a TB and dropped off another. The log was dry but the cache had water in it. TFTC
I needed a destination for the geokids and I today, and the seemed like an interesting spot to explore. The kids lined the waterfall and had a great little picnic and some nature journaling. A steady flow of logging trucks frequented the road. The cache was well buried, but we eventually found it. We removed the old wet log, added some swaps, a new waterproof log sheet and a silica packet to help keeps contents dry. Also left a TB. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
Found 10/2/19. Cache was very wet. Dried log sheet and new bag. Great spot for a look around & found some gold nearby also. Great cache taking us to an interesting spot.
Could the next cacher please replace the log book. It's a bit of a trip for us to get down that way.
Last time I came here there were people with swags camped here so I had no chance but today was different just 1 car and after 5 minutes they left, so now I can finally add my name to this one, also grabbed the T/B and take it to Alexandra mega event... TFTC
Whilst touring the back country from Foster holiday base with friends, stopped at this location, but due to the wet weather experienced prior to the day it was felt that the terrain was too wet and slippery for me at age 73 years.
Thanks.

So beautiful out here, bit of water in the cache, I would have changed the bag but I didn't have one...

Nope, didn't find it today. The area was overgrown and quite a bit of rubbish had been chucked around so we weren't too keen to rummage around. Nice cascading waterfall and probably would be great on warmer days although looking at the colour of the river water, I wouldn't fancy swimming in the pools. Pity.
What a beautiful spot. Spent a bit of time searching in the wrong spot before finally spotting the obvious spot. Went for a nice stroll down to the falls too, there was quite a bit of water which made for a lovely sight . TFTC
Good volume over falls, photo's and walk thru rainforest beside river. Now for the other reason to visit. GPS not packed, so tried to spot the cache hide, and came up trump's. Tfth.
Headed out to Nareena on a Saturday drive.. Arrived at our destination and Geo-son was sleeping in his car seat OH NO!!
Nah, not really... Woohoo... Geocache time :)
We saw there were a couple of caches that were off the beaten track so headed out to find them.. Turbine Creek was third on our list.
The phones (Telstra and Vodafone) had no reception.. We looked in all the obvious spots.. Just when we were about to give up... We found it :) damp log signed, cache returned..
A phew photos taken of this rarely touched, absolutely beautiful spot and we were on our way.
Thanks greynomads :)

We found it!!!! Great spot, boys loved the search and enjoyed the walk to the falls
After a very unloved 291 days we finally gave this one some love. <3 [:X]
We searched for 45 minutes and found it as dawn was breaking, in the very first place we looked
Took nothing and found no gold but left a silver heart charm. Visited a TB. Signed the log.
Thanks for bringing me to this wonderful place Spud & Thanks For The Cache greynomads
What a great find for No. #180. A definite 5 GCVote and a favorite point too.
Edited to change wording from 'lonely' to 'unloved' for cache stats.

Found this one on the second attempt this season. First time foiled by caravaners parked very nearby, darkness, and the start of rain, not to mention very high grass and blackberry bushes. Successful find was preceeded by a full-body submersion dip at the falls. Highly recommend that! Picked up the Strawberry TB, and left a few other trinkets. Also allowed the log some "fresh air time" to dry out more.
Dropped by this one to check it. Was a bit damp although the log was dry. Cleaned, dried and restocked. Dropped off a Strawberry TB.

Nice spot for a day trip, lots of water flowing over falls good for taking some photos. Could not find Cache due to it very over grown with weeds ect.
Bonus old cache found on the (long) way home froma Wilson's Prom adventure caching weekend. The kids loved the falls and I was very pleased that no-one was car sick on the windy roads. Drjim7 was very happy to put his hand on such and antique peice of caching infrastructure. They don't make 'em like the used to, I always say. Thanks for another bit of adventure greynomads.
This was a mini-adventure as Turtons Creek Road had signs at the southern end sayingit was closed due landslips. I plotted a different course along some pretty awful roads, just within my 2WD people movers capability and fortunately did not slip off the road or get bogged.
We rejoined Turtons Creek Road as a 4WD was heading up the road we came off. The friendly driver informed us that Turtons Creek Road is presently fully navigable...ho hum!
At the falls the cache was found deeply hidden and the container had an inch of water in it. The snap lock bag had kept the log mostly dry and signable. The falls themselves are flowing impressively after the recent rains and I recommend a visit but just use Turtons Creek Road.

My daughter and I thought that we go for a walk from Boolarra, and decided to have a look for this cache on the way up from Foster. We don't know if it's there or not, as the roads up from Foster are still washed out. So, no visit to Turtons Falls. Maybe next time!
One of the highlights of our day's Geocaching that was mostly dictated to by the substantial rainfalls that occurred thoughtout the day. The road into the falls is a treasure of contrasts ranging from lush gullies with tree ferns, eucalypyts, all manner of small shrubs and a host of native wildlife. Once at the falls - they were in were in full drop swollen by the rain. There is an easy to manage track that follows Turtons Creek below the falls to a Picnic area that well worth undertaking. The cache itself was readily found and in good condition. With Dylan 7a and The Morphoist. Thank you to 'greynomads' for bringing us to such a gorgeous and unexpected location. TNLN.
This is the first time that we have ever stopped here and didn't realize that the falls were here. We pulled into a little car park that we had all to ourselves. We located the cache first in case some one else decided to join us and then took a little stroll down the overgrown track to have a closer look at the falls which had quite a bit of water running over them.
Thanks greynomads for the cache, if we hadn't had a cuppa just up the road this would have been the perfect spot for it.

Found on a glorious day. GPS reception also accurate today. Left TB Key to Life. Took nothing. TFTC.
A winding road through majestic gums and thriving tree ferns but well worth the effort. Just watch out for motorbike muggles.
Been in the area 31 years and didn't know what we were missing. Beautiful drive to a great location where we shall return, tftc. T bouncy Ball L The Shrophishire GC

I hadn't planned on tackling this cache on this trip by my parent's wanted to show me the falls and I just happened to have the cache stored in my GPS The satellites sent me on a merry chase until I went back to the place I thought most likely (and Dad had already sussed it out too) and sure enough there it was. Took the Reverend Bishop Wight to get him back on mission. TFTC
The waterfall was flowing nicely with all the rain, the paths were muddy for the same reason but perfectly accessible for photos (up soon). Our route to this location took in a lot of winding narrow dirt roads through some logging areas (grrrr) from Mirboo North - the route from the south was easier with only about half(?) on dirt roads.

This one got the better of us yesterday - approached it from the wrong road and ended up on the wrong side of the creek in the pine plantation. Studied the map last night and bingo we found it quickly and easily.
Took: Dinosaur
Left: Small water pistol and TB
Thanks for bringing us to such a beautiful location.

What an adventure....we tried to get here from 'the other side' using the GPSr to navigate...Hmmm, after literally sliding down some greasy, clay based tracks we turned around concerned about panel damage to the smaller caching vehicle. Finally after using human intelligence we navigated ourselves to the cache for a quick find. A great spot but rather chilly in the late afternoon. TNLN TFTH.
Thanks Grey Nomads for another cache a bit further from home.
Elmer.

1329 I also found the wombat burrow and all the overgrowth. I decided it had got away from me and returned to the truck where I said to myself .... where would I hide a cache. GPS was about 60-70 mtrs to the south of where I found the cache but the notes do say "drive-by". TFTC greynomads
FURTHER NOTE ON THE 12th - I didn't have the co-ords of the new location when I was hunting and simply used my nouse. It will be an easy find for searchers from now on. The use of a GPS isn't a science but an art form - when in doubt use logic.

** Coordinates Changed From **
S 38° 32.302 E 146° 15.002
Distance From Old: 186.6 feet or 56.9 meters
If you stand around in this area for too long you'll sprout roots.
The vines had overgrown to such an extent we felt it was time to move the cache.
The current container is a bit smaller than before and has moved to an easier spot to search out, with hopefully less prolific growth of vegetation.
When replacing the cache, please ensure it is well covered with suitable leaf material etc.
Cheers.............

We looked everywhere for this cache, even saw the wombat hole, but could not find the cache. The weeds have really taken over the whole area and it was very wet. Sorry this one escaped us today.
After a day out exploring, we made it to Turtons Creek at 8pm, still light on a summer's evening.
The GPSrs had us going in all sorts of interesting places, including along the creek and down a wombat hole.
It was getting ridiculous so Tam called time out and we started from scratch.
Where would you put a cache if you didn't want to go bush bashing? Oh, there.
Left boxfish and Lizzy TB.
Thanks greynomads!

Found by Mary & David at 1520. STF is good for us, especially this far from home. We used to have a cache part-way along the riverside path, but it didn't last very long. Glad to have a reason to return. Our thanks to greynomads.

Found at 1245 hours, this is the furthest FTF cache I have been to(101.8 kms from my home location)
Found the cache easy as there was a track in the grass to the cache.
Took a walk to the falls and it was cooler on the walk than at the cache.
Great looking falls.
Took Geocoin, Left nothing.

Dropped off a Geocoin looking for beaches. Well... it's not a beach but a nice waterfall.
