As soon as we drove in the cache was right there staring at us. The camo is peeling off and the bank becoming eroded. We tried to conceal it a bit better. Was interesting to see a muggle's log in it. Again second signature in this one this year, but more finds on the cache page...

[:0] Easy find on way into Waikaremoana/Waikareiti walk TFTC. Great opportunity to teach a few fellow trampers about geocaching...and a pleasant distraction from the 2 punctures we got on the way. TFTC

Another break on the drive to Waikaremoana, but by now I had an unscheduled stop for a puncture, and was to experience a second, luckily our muggle friends were happy to watch us look for caches, supply tires and change them.

We asked at the touristinformation if this raod was paved. And they assured it was!!! Result: almost 150 km gravelroad in a splendid area. It took us 5 hours to cross this forest. Thanks for the cache

Magnificent tree. Glad we had a reason for stopping. Lots of slips and road works and rivers are high. Guess they had as much or more rain as Auckland. PINO TFTC

What a nice spot for a bit of a breather from the gravel winding roads. Easy find thank goodness, as I didn't like the thought of putting my arm down some of those holes. I know how big the East coast weta gets!!

Collected on the way to Waikaremoana to support crew for the Lake 2 Lighthouse Multisport race.
Really is quite an amazing tree [:)The epiphyte is looking rather sad but the camo on the cache worked well Smile. Got busted by some other locals on their way over to the race. [:0]

We are from The Netherland. On our way to Hawke Bay we passed this cache. We had to search a while, but with the help of our brother an law we were able to make the log. TFTC.

Picked it up on the way to a spot of hunting by the lake. Bit of a grubby search in the dark without the torch but stumbled across it after a short while. TFTC

On our way into Lake Waikaremoana for the easter weekend, so just had to stop in here (as well as a couple of others) on the way to pick up this cache.

Passing through the park on a return trip to Hamilton, I stopped off at this lovely spot and found the cache.

Thanks Geckoh for the great placement - it is good to see some caches along this road.

Picked up the bear travel bug for Butterfly_Lady also.
