Had a good hunt under and on top - nothing to be found. Was going past to look for another cache. Is not there.
Sadly I didn't find it. Thought I had the right spot but searched high and low....mmm...wonder where it is hiding
After a DNF in January, we were back in the area today looking to tick this one off.
We were pretty certain where we should be looking - and the GPS seemed to agree... But once again, we could not come up with the prize.
Our luck seems to run out when we are in the botanical gardens

After taking a wrong turn, we soon found the right path, and the final cache for the day was secured.
Now off to dinner and the roller derby! Go DeadWreckoning!

As we approached GZ we spotted what might be a likely hiding place and sure enough there it was. A nice early morning with a few walkers and joggers about. Left the monkey trackable. TFTC

Visiting the Gardens for my Birthday Picnic.
So I replaced the Geocache with a Camoed Mustard container. Magnets are involved. Includes NeverTear Paper Log and Pencil.
Come find me.

Seemed obvious but couldn't find anything on or around the object. Nice walk though
This one seemed pretty straight forward - we thought we knew what to look for, and GPS directed us to a likely looking object... but no cache to be found
We were hoping to complete 100 caches for Jan... will have to attempt another one now!

A true mystery to me. How can a common systema cache with a magnetic attraction not be sighted on or under but otherwise attached to the only metallica within metres of GZ? HOTA
First NZ find and a very nice size to find in such a public place.
Thanks for the fun

Day 2 on our Kiwi Adventure trek to the NZ Mega - had to stop here to pick up Lello, our geocoin, he's been in NZ for nearly 5 years, so we have collected him to head on home, after the event in Dunedin.

Accompanied the Flippers to pick up their five year old Geocoin! I can't believe it stayed in the wild so long. I'm glad it was dropped in a cache at a beautiful place so we could enjoy it too! I took several photos but can't post as the card reader for my ipad is playing up. Will try to remember to post them later. Cheers!
[red]Lello the gnome has got to Auckland, we the owners will pick him up, fingers crossed on Friday, as we travel through for the NZ Mega in Dunedin - please leave this gnome geocoin to be reunited with his owners[/red]

In Auckland over night. Have a very narrow window of time, so thought I'd be super organised and make a list of caches to find...
This wasn't on the list... Was after the Wherigo and this was in the vicinity. A surprise find. Was expecting something less obvious. TFTC.

Probably would have missed this sculpture altogether if you hadn't brought us here. TFTC

Superb Easter Sunday afternoon for a walk in the Botanic Gardens. Easy find despite the heavy tree cover. T4TC.
Part of the pathway has been closed off for maintainance, so had to find an alternative route to this one. Found it quickly and dropped a TB. TFTC
My first ever visit to these gardens, I was quite impressed. Cache was a quick find in a very pleasant spot. Signed log, TFTC!
Decided to do one more before heading home. Found a new sculpture as a bonus. TFTC
