Quick find, with the hint its very obvious once near the areaLots of ants have made home there and the main log is fullTFTC
The ants have definitely moved in here Another new LGA for me after bussing around Sydney. In Sydney for a few days before heading to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. Today was all about catching public transport to pick up new LGAs.Zalgariath, I found Cooks River Cycleway #2 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
I reckon we've crossed paths with quite a few of Sydney's ant population this visit.. They've set up permanent residence here and weren't happy to be disturbed but after a quick sign they were regrouping... we were regrouping... The Cooks River Cycleway looks like a lot of fun! TFTC Zalgariath
First instinct was right, but overlooked initially. Later had a proper look and found. Logs pretty full so I just found a bit of blank space in between other entries to record my find. TFTC!
Found It!A quick find here. This seems to be a popular style of cache hide in Sydney!TFTC
15 November 2023This is find number: 8966Streak Day: 2890Found Today with Snoopy1976, an easy find after the muggle that was standing right at GZ left. ThanksThanks to Zalgariath for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Streak Day #3779 - Over this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day. Quick find once the muggle finished admiring the river. TFTC
Nice find, thanks! With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck and Pittiplatsch in tow. Also present was a Munzee code, now detached as thats archived.
After attending the cook river cycling event today, went out by bike with JennyFromTheFarm to find a few caches along the river. Have rode this path many times over the last 10+ years but never really cached then. Was a warm when we started and very hot by the time we finished. Luckily there is a fair bit of shade and the sun was in our favour the way we facing both before and after lunch. Thanks for placing the cache.
Nice and easy one. The hint made for a quick find. A few ants were disturbed during the signing of this cache. TFTC
Collected this one during the GC NSW cycling event. Super quick, was pretty obvious. Thanks for placing this cache Zalgariath #2100
OCW discobob3 on this sunny Sunday after the cooks river cycling adventure event.
This one was found without any troubles and then we were onto the next one. Great to ride along the river mostly in the shade with a slight breeze.

The cache was quickly located, quite obvious what was a bit different. However, the container was infested with ants, small angry ones.
Of course, should have tried harder the first time. Awesome cycle way thanks
Clever hide. Made a quick grab as we approached and saw something slightly odd.
Greeting Cachers! Just a note to say that while this cache is happy and well, 2 of the Series, including the final have now been archived. I no longer live in the area and with the old family home being sold next year won't return here often enough warrant replacing them. So this is now a stand-alone cache. No need to worry about collecting the co-ord fragments. Cheers, Zal.
Also first places I checked then reread hint and used my eyes better. Coords slightly out. TFTC
Nice one!
It was the first spot I checked but didn't disturb it hard enough. But glad I came back to it and put more strength in

What a cool hiding spot! Couldn’t find the clue for the cooks river puzzle though…
A really nice cache in a great location. Looking forward to finding the last 2! TFTC!
Took me awhile to figure this one out. Clever cache and hiding spot. Hint was helpful. Great spot for bird watching.
Found on a soggy Sunday afternoon with walk there and kate_h. Code found for no 4.
First in a series of about 7 found last week (just logging now) whilst out for a mid week walk along the mighty cooks river. Lovely spot. Tftc!
Took a while as GPS went crazy, I knew it wouldn't be the dead rat. But found it eventually. Thanks For The Cache
Noticed something different and went and investigated, yes it was the cache. The local feathered bird varieties was checking me out to see what I was up to.
Started with a 5 km run along Cooks river and mounted my bike for a total of almost 30 km to find lots of caches along the river/canal/stormdrain. Al were find quite quick and easy.

My 2nd CRC find. Im going backwards unfortunately.
An imaginative hide in a great location.
At first i fixated on a different place based the clue but when i gave up on it and changed my focus to closer to the GZ i got it pretty quick.
Thanks.

2nd cache in the series in hand. Searched in the wrong spot at first. Then read the clue and had a look around. Signed the log and collected the clue to nr 4. TFTC

Companions: Geokid7
Muggles: None
Weather: Cold and windy autumn morning
Cache condition: Good, if anty
My older son had a soccer match at the nearby grounds, and I had the 2 younger kids with me too. The 7-year-old got bored so I decided to take him for a walk to this cache, just 250m away. We were soon at GZ, and I spotted the likely hide on approach, only remembering after I had grabbed the container that I was going to let him "make the find" - d'oh. Anyway, he was content looking at the contents. TNLNSL, TFTC

A nice Sunday bike ride along the Cooks River Cycleway, looking to complete this series. This one took longer than it should have, after some time searching, we resorted to the hint and soon had CIH. Yes the ants are still there but cache is in good condition. Collected the clue for the final, signed log and replaced as found. TFTC.
