Its time to put this one to bed, till next year.

08-Mar-10
Having read everyone's comments it sounds as though a great time was had by all, I know all the Rats did. The change in venue worked well and I think it'll be the new home for this event.
I must apologise for not announcing the winner of the time trial on the day, time certainly got away from me.
It was great to meet so many new faces and as always its good to catch up with all our old friends. Our game has certainly grown alot over the years.

We look forward to seeing you all there next and thanks for making the picnic such a great day.

25-Feb-10
For anyone who is interested in discovering the TB's & coins that made it to the event please send me an email and I'll send out the spreadsheet.

23-Feb-10
Sadly we could not make it (again!!!!) this year! It is great to read that everyone had a good time though. I hope that those who collected their shirts are happy with them Smile

See you all at Wagga!

20-Feb-10

20-Feb-10
Sorry we could not make it. We just got our permanent residence granted and we just had to arrange a big party for last night. Hope you all had a good day.

20-Feb-10
Thanks for the event, it was great to meet a few more people. Not much caching done as we spent too mush of the efternoon enjoying the beaches!

20-Feb-10
New to the game and my first meet but nice to recognise familiar names and give them faces. Extra exciting to come third in the time trial. Finished off the day with another four caches logged in the area.

20-Feb-10
My first appearance at an Illawarra South Coast event and a very enjoyable day. Had fun eating lunch under the shade of a tree with fellow cachers while the kids lapped it up on the nearby play equipment. The kids even made it down to the beach for a swim.

Took 3 x GCs, discovered 1 x GC and thanks to The Rats for a well organised and enjoyable event.

3354.

Like a fine wine these things just get better with age. This event is always a favourite of ours as it's another chance to catch up with some of those familiar faces and also to meet the new ones. I just can't believe this is the forth one. We liked the change of location, no more battling with that "other" group for the picnic area. It was such a relaxing day sitting under the tree in a large group we almost didn't want to leave but with caching time a-wasting we headed off in search of more local gold!

Thanks to The Rats for another well planned event, great work! I wonder what happened to those Poms that normally join us though? Perhaps they turned up a week early, nope that was two years ago! It would have been good to see more of the locals get there as well!

T: GeoMum's Soccer Cow, GeoKid4 Micro - Boy Geocoin, gd___'s Geocaching NSW 2009 Geocoin, JRR's Traveling Hibiscus, Hgomsk Dutch Geocoin 2008.
L: A few other coins!

Well our day started off good. Crashed the gps uploading gsak files and had to redo. Crashed both iPhones due to a softwear update.
After a reboot of the iphones at mcdonalds it was off too the event. On the way we got a thinking that this event last year was the first event we had attended and didn't know anyone. This then got us thinking of all those we now do know and have got to meet throughput the year and what it was.
On arrival several teams were in the process of completing the time trials and the kids tagged along before we could stop them. Due to this we were unable to do the time trial this year as they already found all the waypoints and could just fill in answers without leaving the start line, we could have won lol.
We enjoyed the day sitting around and talking.

Thanks Dave for putting on another top event and thaks too all who attended from near and far.

Hope to see you all at Wagga in a few weeks time. It's coming up quick.

20-Feb-10
Well it was certainly nice to catch up with some known seldom seen faces and put faces to other names. Thanks Rats for putting on the show. I will try to make your next one.

20-Feb-10
A perfect day for caching, with an event in the middle! I left it a bit late, but most of the usual suspects as well as a few new ones were still around, and it was great to to catch up with everyone, and I still had time left over for a few more caches in the afternoon. Thanks to the Rats for organinsing this ever expanding event.

20-Feb-10
Great event again Mr Rat & The Rat Family. We haven't missed one yet, and have enjoyed every one of the events. Looks like we will be coming back again next year! LOL
Great to catch up with familiar faces & meet some new ones as well, and as always cacth up on some info about some of those mysterious caches.
Pity we had to leave early, but we had a pretty busy day all round - from home to The Event, then to Ashfield & the Woronora Twice) then home again - not all for caching , but we made the most of what we could.
See ya all next year!
Cheers.

20-Feb-10
Thanks for organising this event, Rats, it was a perfect day, and lovely to put faces to some of the geocachers around here. Got some great GCA tips from Tuena and others (nice to see a familiar face! ) then I left early to go and see "Pennies from Kevin" at the IPAC - wickedly irreverant - and managed to pick up a few more caches on the way home. As I said, a pretty perfect day!

20-Feb-10

Well another great day for an event with plenty of people. I believe this may be the 4th I've attended too!

After ripping around the time trial I managed to come first Cool (with the assistance of Connor from Team Casho- thanks!) and got some great prizes.

Little geo toddler also had plenty of fun in the playground.

A nice day out with fellow geocachers. TFTC!

Theres only a few days to go. So far the weather is looking good and the "will attends" is at 25+ so another good turn-out is expected. If your keen, bring your swimmers as the beach isn't too far away.
If you've got some trackables to log into the event can you please do it before Friday night so I can track them on spreadsheet.

Those of you who have ordered ICC shirts, they'll be available for pickup on the day.
See you all there.
