It would appear that some one has taken a disliking to my caches #2 and counting.
With mixed feelings about Geocaching at the moment, I have decided to archive this cache and open up the area for another cacher to have a go at hiding a cache
I hope that all that have found this cache have enjoyed finding it as much as I’ve enjoyed reading you logs
Cheers

Found @ 14:25 while filling in some time this afternoon before an evening meeeting at McCrae tonight. A little huffing and puffing to get there but a quick find once at GZ. TFTC TNLNSL
With the rest of the team off seeing Harry Potter, I decided to make an assault on Arthur's Seat and grab a few caches.
For me, this was actually half way up as it was the first grab of the day after starting from the quarry access road. Found the cache easily enough and signed the log before heading further up the hill. And what a hill it was...

Quick find, we enjoyed the walk in. Can be easily spotted if coming in from the little known track so I guess I did it the hard way

I love these bushwalking caches. Gets you out and about with not too many muggle issues. Took GC and left GC. TFTC. SL.
I had a collection of walks half way up this hill, so when the hot weather abated, off I set.
This was the first, and I did it half way up rather than down. Missed the small track on the way up, but found it on the way down.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found while walking with the geofamily on a wet Melbourne Cup Day, took some GC's to move on left some keyrings. SL, TFTC
2010-10-31 12:59 Been saving this one for when GC20R7T came back online. Decided to go after these two today and found this one without any trouble. I loaded this one up with a bunch of TB's and GC's that I had put out in a new cache however that was unfortunately knocked back in the approval process. Thanks again to Oakydog for another great cache in this area.
Took us nearly half a day to find access to this cache.
Tried from the top but could not get close enough. Then
we tried from the bottom ( don't rely on your Garmin Topo )
and here is where the trouble began. A huge
quarry anywhere, fenced areas and closed roads.
Finally we found the access track and after a pleasant walk
got cache in hand.
This is something for cacher who prefer quality over quantity.

Checked on cache today and indeed it has been visited by muggles. Unfortunately there seems to be a missing trackable as well.
I Think the best thing to do would be to archive this cache; will give it a month or two for anyone who wanted to cross this one off
Cheers for the heads up Squalid

On a days caching activity in company with Squalid. Halfway up or halfway down, is the glass half full or half empty? Who cares, it’s a steep drop down to the cache, certainly by the route we chose, so another more acceptable route was utilized to get back to the geovehicles. It would seem that a muggles had located the cache and logged their visit, perhaps when using the adjacent marginal trail.

Phew - we took one route in that had a very steep decline, so we thought we were in for a lung-busting ascent. Fortunately we had a gentler trip back. There was a muggle note in the log too - even though this appears to be out of the way. Something like "I don't know what this little box is, but it's really cool....". Thanks for the enjoyable walk.
Found 16:45, after a short but pleasant stroll, great views.
TNLN, CSI=4, thanks Oakydog.

Found in the company of Acts2YouthGroup. About six cache ago we had all but decided to give it away in the storm (although we were in a cafe at the time ), but happily we persisted and had some good walking in declining drizzle. We found the parking spot and it was a nice walk despite the downhill/uphill bits! A nice obvious hide at gz so no bush damage at all, thanks Oakydog.
This was cache # 25 of 27 for the day, in the company of Alansee. My thanks to Oakydog for the cache. We made out way down the large track to within 30m of the cache, oh looks like we got to go bush, I thought that was not like an oaky hide, when we finally arrived at GZ the cache was right next to a track and was a good hide, like we have come to expect and appreciate from oaky. We decided to leave via the track we were now on, I am sure this was the intended route but we missed the entrance coming down.
Nice walk, easy find; and yes as expected if you walk down you have to walk up again. Ohh well at least weather is good.

Nice day for another uphill walk.
Must get myself a "Parks Vic" gate key again
Good cache in a nice location.

I found this cache at 5:55pm as the 14th of 16 on my Mornington Peninsula Afternoon. Since I did the up cache coming down, it was only fair that I do the down one by coming up. I thought that it looked like the better option and since I reckon that I have climbed Arthurs Seat an equivalent distance of 3 times today within all of the completed caches, I was all for finding the better option. A nice little cairn at GZ. Our 115th 3TF. Footnote, all of the Oakydog caches that I completed today were really well set out and took me to some marvellous spots with generally a good sense of cache placement. I had a great day (but I'm buggered) Thanks from D B-A.
Congratulation on first to find Mr Jibbilets & coverthynosis
Good effort you two crazy cachers
