didn't realise this one was archived till contact with CO
thank you bristracker for allowing our log

Didn't realise this was archived till we contacted the CO. We found the remains of a cache (lid and toy) so contacted CO who told us this had been archived. That's what happens when you have your archived list and run for the day on the same GPS [|)]

Logging cache with permission of CO but there is nothing left to find.

We found It Big Grin Beautiful Park! Sunny, Dry, Gre8 fun Swings, Space for Prince to run and catch cricket ball...

12-Jul-13
I have decided to take this one off line. It was placed during a time of drought, and has a good roll-up of visitors, but the constant rainy seasons have completely changed the nature of a geo-visit. No one has fun getting to this one any more, and I know I would not like to find squelchy ground on the side of a hill. The recent comments all show up the soggy ground issue and i believe the fairest thing is to save everybody any further discomfort and put this one to sleep. Thanks to all the geo-visitors along the way.

11-Jul-13
This is close to swamp land at the moment. My shoes were covered in mud and my socks drenched. I tried to take the highest path I could but even to get up to the start of the slope I had to trudge through slosh. Plenty of squelching for the final few cache hunts of the afternoon. Thanks for the cache.

Very swampy and rainy. Dogs barking everywhere.
Nice cache.

Lovely park that we would never have been to if we weren't geocaching. Nice easy find. Number 5 for the day. Smile

23-May-13
This little cache is how I found out about Geocaching. A mate lives very close to the cache and he saw someone one day putting something at the tree. So after they left he went and investigated.
The next day he told me what he had found and asked if I had heard of Geocaching. I quick google search and we were both like far out this game is massive.
I should have made it my first find but after reading about Geocaching that night I found out there was some in my own area, so I started the next morning and found some before work.
A big thanks for placing this one here bristracker as I would still be a muggle.

A favorite point from me as this one was how I found out about geocaching.

What a nice park... for ducks.. it was very wet underfoot but the cache was found quickly and was safe. TNLN signed the log. A pair of gumboots would be useful for this cache for the next few weeks until it starts to dry out underfoot.

Found this one after a soggy tromp through some very wet ground. The cache was uncovered and visible from a distance, so after we logged it, we carefully rehid it so that it wasn't quite so obvious. TFTC.

22-Apr-12
After grabbing two nearby caches, Xusia and I legged it to this one next. the ground was mighty wet at the bottom of the hill so some dodging of mud was required but soon were making our way towards GZ up the hill. I noted some muggles on a verandah but no interest was to be paid to us. The cache was very obvious so after the log signing ceremony it was rehidden a bit better before we headed down the hill and back to the car. TFTC bristracker Smile

Quick and easy find as it wasn't really hidden... log signed and put the log into a fresh baggie as the other was torn and the book fell out :/

Wow this park was a slosh pit... the playground was like a waterbed, you poked the ground and it wobbled with all the water underneath it... very strange!

Anyway, tftc

Yup very wet underfoot but noone fell over and we got that smilie Big Grin. Thanks bristracker

23-Dec-10
Oh my gosh this is soooo soggy underfoot. I really had no idea it was this bad. Sorry folks.
When I placed this cache (and others) we had been in a drought for ages. Now this park is so waterlogged nothing can drain away. I wouldn't blame you for leaving this one until a drier season. For those who want to try for a smilie I've left a Trackable Canada Flag Tag. The Crown Prince will have to make an official visit there if he becomes King. It used to be one of the Dominions of the Empire.

23-Dec-10
There is now a trackable here - Canada Flag Tag with punching bag attached.

Found with The Rats and Big Matt as The Gangsters on our Brisbane invasion trip.

Another park in the suburbs with a cache- I do remember the name or at least it rings a bell with the Crown Prince. It amazes me how people's houses back on to these places and seemingly there is no boundary to their property..

TFTC!
