Spent quite a while looking "inside" every nook and cranny, but was too good for us today.
Nice quickie before heading back to Adelaide. Tftc

We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
Today was the last day on the Peninsula before we head hone tomorrow. So the team decided that it was a “tourist day” and we would go have a look down the coast a bit. But of course like true geocachers we couldn’t help taking a caching route as we went. We ended up getting a lot more than we expected, but we did have a good time.
My favourite gun cache ever! Nice and quick! Tftc Roc!!!

Found with dty73 and youban on our Yorke Peninsula invasion! All logs signed DTY (dty73/Tankengine/youban). - Had a great day today, in that we didn't do any of the power trails! That was a very nice change! So a nice variety and some very nice locations! Thanks! Yippie - a canon we could find for once!
As this is a generic log comments relevant to this cache will be placed at the end. On a caching trip with Dty73 & Tankengine to Yorke Peninsula. Team signed as DTY. Thank you all the cache owners who have put so much effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Our last day on the peninsula so we decided that we would explore the area around Edithburgh. The weather had turned chilly and the odd spit of rain came and went. Quick find thanks to the hint. Kutgw
After having arrived in Edithburgh this morning on our trip round the Yorke Peninsula we thought we would brave the wind and head out for a look around.
We gave up walking fairly early in the piece and resorted to travelling by car as we pick up a few caches on the way.
We decided to do the Wherigo cache and it bought us to this spot. There was no way were we leaving once we realised there was a traditional here as well. Thanks to the hint this was a straightforward find. Not what usually happens when we get to these historical things. We normally hate them!

We have avoided this one for several years, as we have a distinct aversion to guns. Weakened today as it is the last unfound cache in the town. Well, well well, we searched high and low for twenty minutes. Had another last look, and discovered the container in the first place we looked. First time we have found one in this location. Tftc we think?
Stopped right near here to decide which direction we were going to take. One of us decided that they had to at least have a look. Found surprisingly quickly as this hide is not one of our favourites. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

Found during a road trip from Vic to SA with Papi4506 & Geoturtle37.
Refreshing size for one of these.
Thanks for placing this cache here for us to find, Robmc

I think the conversation went something like......"Just what we need a nano on a gun! Here it is!"
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Ha the non-nano is so easy to find, after not being able to find Minlaton's cache on that artillery a few days ago. Thanks for the hide, cheers!
Found easily on the ground next to the gun. Unfortunately someone didn't hide it at all? TFTC!
Best gun I have ever done. Found in two minutes. Thank you and giving it a favourite.
YP road trip day 5 cache 8. The 3rd one of these in 3 days. At least we found this one. TFTC.
Well that helps my score against these dastardly cache hides however I think I am still way behind. TFTC
Out with Mum, Dad and niece, ILoveWarmJumpers. I don't usually have the patience for these tricky ones so was most thankful when niece spotted it almost straight away. TNLNSL TFTC
Today we explored Yorketown and then travelled to the southern end of Wool Bay and through to Coobowie and finished at Edithburgh using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way with Roostaman and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Wandering around Edithburgh on the Friday before the June Long Weekend event, and both halves of Team Critter were kind enough to beta test my Wherigo, dragging Chrispy89 along for the ride.
This was nearby as we visited one of the waypoints, with bek-theraccoon placing hands on this one first. I have always loved climbing on old artillery equipment! Nice that it wasn't a nano too!
This was find number 1 of 2 for the day for me. TFTC Robmc!

Grrr. Stinky canon caches. Blah. Still - found this one eventually following the requisite fuss, so a good result. Thanks Robmc.

Wow. No need to burn down the nano factory with this one. It's taken us 2 attempts to get this one but today our name is in the book. TFTC
