On a road trip from the ACT thru northern Victoria, to South Australia then back through Victoria (great Ocean road) and caching along the way. Whatever cache we happened to pass and I was in the mood we stopped to find and log. Some easier some harder:-) TFTC
This one hasn't been found for awhile, and I wasn't lucky either. Do not bother

Thought I'd get a few smileys while enjoying some skiing, sadly this one is a no go. Found a broken pen laying around what I believe the gz to be.
Stopped after bridge and was able to get cache sign and replaced. We have enjoyed our drive around the lake
Another find while out with the Kerang Camera Club. A beautiful spot. TFTC

In Boort for the first time and we turned off to start this little "old blokes" series. An easy find and the best part is that we can drive around instead of walking. Yippee.
TFTC the old blokes.

A cute little caravan park that was full to overflowing! Shot guns booming in the distance added to the unique feel of this place. Thanks for the hide.
We really enjoyed this one a lot. This now concludes our lake tour, thanks for the adventure the old blokes. Left bulldog clip took nothing. TFTC
Staying at Boort Caravan Park for a couple of nights, I walked around the lake with my friend and cleaned up the caches along the way TFTC
The last in this lovely series for bogonghazy and I today. The rains had held off, and we were back out on the road Northbound again. Thanks to the old blokes, adding a fave for the whole series.
With a van in tow, and a heap of caches on the list before getting to Swan Hill tonight, Sully and I decided to grab these by car instead of getting the exercise needed for us both.
This was the last in the series for us, and another easy find.
Thanks again TOB for this great little series on a beaut lake

Thanks so much for all the great caches around the lake, I had a great arvo with my two daughters (don't know if the loved it so much though!), geocaching is great for taking us to great places and I enjoyed hanging around the lake again after many long years away! Was a bit busy in the caravan park but located this quickly and was off to our caravan for a well earned sav blanc! TFTC
Parked on the wrong side of the bridge so had to cross twice. Luckily no traffic about. Another easy find TFTC the old blokes
Found at 2.15pm, After a relaxed lunch by the lake we ambled (in our car) around this pretty lake, which is full at present,
High winds kept all but the most enthusiastic of skiers off the lake.
Thanks

Found on a leisurely walk around the lake... Walking off early Christmas celebrations. TFTC (didn't have a pen on me, so I couldn't sign the log)
Heart had slowed down, and it was nice to grab this without any bush bashing. tftc.
Crusty.

We enjoyed a fantastic if rather HOT long weekend attending the "Cohuna Matata" Geocaching event.
With the weather in the high 30's we cached in the morning and relaxed in the pool/river in the arvo.
What a great way to explore and enjoy the area.
Thanks to everyone for placing the caches for us to find.

Although this one was found quickly, retrieval was tricky due to the guardian huntsman. Thankfully geo novice Amanda was brave when it came to spiders and grabbed this for us. (Not so brave with snakes though were you Amanda!)

It took us at least 10 minutes to find but we found it eventually and we were glad when we did. Good luck to all the other people trying.
Usually we come to Boort to beat them at hockey. However, today it was to clean up the caches. The last of The Old Blokes trail.
Having never seen Boort from this angle, I was amazed how beautiful it was. The lake is just awesome. An absolute treasure of North Central Victoria!
With loads of people around, timing was everything. I sat there and read the paper for a little bit (at one stage I considered cutting eyes in it like a bad spy movie - just for laughs). As always though, the coast cleared and the cache was mine.
Thanks for the series The Old Blokes.

I used to work with a company based at Boort, from SA a few years ago, so I was keen to visit the town

The bridge is known as Yot's Bridge because of the Chinese market gardens that used to be nearby. TNLN
9 of 15 caches travelling from Melbourne to Robinvale.
Never been to Boort before and what a pleasant surprise, I'm going to have to come back through here with MuggleWife and stay a few days. It's side trips and finds like these off the main roads that I really enjoy caching for.
Thanks old blokes for bringing me here!

Approaching from Bendigo this was my first cache, not the last one.
Parked and walked back to this one. It was clinging tightly, but I eventually wrestled it free.
Thanks, Robmc.

My last old blokes cache for the day and a nice easy one too. I have done a few of your caches this trip and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I really like the way that several are put in an area to make for a more rounded visit, and the effort that has gone into many of those hides is quite obvious. Many thanks.
The water level is well and truly up bringing every man and his dog (or skiboat) here. We timed the retrieval of this cache between walking, jogging and cycling muggles but had to be quick. SL TFTC
Back on the winners list after a few DNFs in what would have been a grat series by the old blokes! Will be sure to come back and hunt for the others one day!!
Redemption! After DNFs on BL #4 and BL #5 had this one to hand after a brief search. The sweat on my brow eased as I completed the log and felt an essence of geocaching repose. So, it was 4 out 6 - a modest scorecard - on this fine series provided by 'the old blokes'. It's a lovely ramble around the lake, either as a walk or vi a Car and well suited for all ages in a picturesque setting. Thank you to 'the old blokes' for the effort with this cluster of caches. With 'The Comrades'. TNLN.
What can i say, done well you bunch of Old Blokes.
TNLN..............SL....................Many thanks for the Tour.

TFTC Found on our second Grey Nomad Adventure camping around the Mighty Murray.the lake was full to overflowing and so pretty. ALOT of waterbirds to admire. Thank you, we enjoyed your caches
I think we did this series in the wrong order-this was our first. An easy find. Sadly, we didn't have the time to walk it all, but we did enjoy the bits we saw, and the little walking we did manage.
A quick find with Black Bunny after we had to wait for a walker to clear the area. SL TFTC
After a bite of lunch,GPS very accurate on this one.Quickly found at 14:05 hrs. Creative "cache art" TFTC.
Nice quiet road today, not many around, so we were able have a good fossick without attracting attention. Nice fresh breeze across the Lake, and the usual lovely birdlife. Thanks to The Old Blokes.
We were invaded by locusts on the way here and I even thought we should aboort this area but the haven of the lake enticed us further.
We did this series in reverse and enjoyed all the hides.
I had no idea they were so good. I'll spread the word, head for Boort.
