It's time to say farewell to Watch Out For Muggles. Over the past 14 years, this cache has brought a smile to the 168 geocachers who took on the challenge to find "Muggles" and report back that he has been located. A special thank you to the 100 Premium members who thought this cache was worthy for a Favourite Point. I'm pleased you enjoyed the geocaching experience and thought it worthy. ??????

TFTC and the fun way getting to the final. I didn’t let the rain dampen my enthusiasm to do this cache today especially being rained out at Stanhope Gardens. I enjoy doing your caches as they are different and fun.

What a nice little package of a cache. We found each of the waypoints although not without a little head scratching at each stop. We appreciated the riddle like clues to keep us on track. Awesome monstera at WP1. I wonder if the locals come and pick its fruit when it ripens. It is loaded. GZ had us scratching our heads for longer than we'd like. We concentrated way to much on one particular feature of the surrounds despite the hint clearly pointing at another. Felt a little self conscious loitering outside someone's house especially considering that someone was out the front washing his car. Who knows what he thought we were doing, especially considering that at many points we were standing in the middle of the road in front of his house in the rain. Eventually common sense kicked in and told us to look somewhere else and sure enough there is was exactly where it was supposed to be. Not at all what we were expecting but very clever. Fav point for the whole journey. Thanks!

Now that the NSW Government is beginning to ease lockdown restrictions, it’s time to bring my caches back into play.

Just a reminder, a fundamental rule of geocaching is that, in order to be able to log a cache find online, you must retrieve the cache container and sign the physical log located in that container. Failure to comply may result in your online log being removed.

I know the Covid virus is still about so please take precautions to keep yourself and those around you from harm by doing things such as wearing gloves to handle geocaches as well as using hand sanitiser regularly.

Keep safe everyone and enjoy your geocaching activities.

Cheers,
Calypso62

The Covid situation in Greater Sydney is still critical. As a result, this cache remains disabled for the time being. I'm monitoring the situation and will bring the cache back online when appropriate to do so.

To help stop the spread of Covid-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to stay at home unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.

While some people would regard going geocaching as a form of exercise, it is my personal opinion that this activity is a non-essential one, perhaps involving unnecessary travel and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis.

Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of Covid-19, by staying home.

As a result of the health authority’s directive, I have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that no person seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled.

Thank you for your cooperation. I look forward to bringing my caches back into play as soon as the health crisis abates.

Regards,
Calypso62

After getting a nearby cache with the greatest non-caching cacher - Skonos, I pushed my luck and brought him further north to grab a post midnight cache to help my streak along.

I’d started this one a couple of weeks ago, but time pressure sent me home before I’d completed it.

A last stop this evening, before the final GZ revealed itself and we found the wonderfully unique cache.

I find myself giving Calypso62 another favourite point.

Tftc.

Genius! What a cache! Surprise after surprise,!

A well placed WP1, then a very sneaky WP2 which I was lucky to find quickly, but was very impressed! Unfortunately I did not find WP3 however. I found something bang on GZ that fit the hint perfectly, but couldn't see any numbers. I soon realised that I don't think there is supposed to be anything here, and just followed the instructions using the 15 metres described and the hint. That made more sense!

Checked the wrong spot first though and came up empty, crossed the road again and soon found something very fishy. Had a big laugh whilst signing the log, what a spectacular idea!

A favourite point for sure, thanks for the fun !

Out on another geocaching Sunday funday adventure going everywhere from the hills to Hornsby and collecting smilies in between.

I don’t usually do Multi caches but given the favourite points and it being a Calypso hide I thought I would give it a go!

WP1 was clever! I figured out where I needed to be and went searching up every pole without any luck. It was getting rather hot so I will have to come back and conquer this another day Smile

OCW PelDroedGwin

In the area after finding my main target cache for today, with a little more time remaining before we had to head home I couldn't resist a trio of Calypso multi's.

This one was our second. I'd heard good things (no spoilers though) about this one so was keen to give it a go.

WP1 was cute and not quite what I expected. WP2 wow! Are you kidding me ? That's amazing! (It took a while to spot and had us worrying but PDG did it) WP3 hmmm, different (LOL) and GZ well, I just love that!

Of course it's a great multi, I wouldn't expect anything less ! Have another FP from me

OCW the Bebes. I love Calypso62 caches and this did not disappoint. All the hides are clever and well thought out but WP2, wow, had us stumped for a little while but perseverance got us there. I can see how that gets missed. Favourite point from me. Tftc

Found information at WP1.
At WP2 - I'm sure the neighbours must be looking at me.
Getting up the nerve to search, then giving up an retreating to the car. I did this 3 times. Oldmorty is no use either sitting in the car and not being able to help as he's forgotten what to look for. One last go - I can't believe how I missed this. So clever.
Now off to WP3. Parked the car and search for a while, then spotted something needing further investigation. TFTC Calypso62. Please accept a favourite point for the multi.

Anominous Sign and I have been saving our favourites so we could come up to do some Claypso's cache.

WP1 was easy, WP2 took a bit more time, but Anominous Sign put his hand on the right spot. Now to the WP3/GZ. We were greeted with a friendly face soon after arriving at GZ. It was a bit weird to search for the cache under the watchful eyes of the owner. After inspect the obvious spots, we expanded the search. Another round revealed the cheeky hide. Now we know how to watch out for muggles Smile

Thanks for another amazing hide. It was really nice to see you! A favourite from me.

Today, we decided to grab another Calypso cache and this was our target. We checked that we had some spare favourite points (a must before doing Calypso caches!), plugged in the address in Google Maps and started on our journey. 2 trains, a metro and an hours walk later, and we were at WP1.

The first clue was quickly spotted and we were off to WP2. This one was trickier. Looking around, looking up, looking down, and scratching our heads before the clue took pity on us and revealed itself. Ah ha! Then we were off to GZ.

On arrival at GZ, a cheerful face saw us and knew why were there. Was this the muggle we were to watch out for? No, no, it was none other than Calypso himself! A short greeting and we continued our search under the watch of the cache owner (no pressure!). We tried the obvious spot first, before I blindly walked right past the cache and came back to ponder some more. Another round and everything fell into place! Ha ha!

Thanks Calypso, for another inspired cache! It was lovely to meet you again. We enjoyed the trip, we enjoyed the walk (over 20km all up today!), we enjoyed the hunt, we enjoyed meeting the owner and we enjoyed keeping a watch out for muggles . A definite favourite for me!

In Dural area for some Sunday geocaching. Most fun cache ever but challenging too. At WP1, if what we were looking for had been a laser pointer, we would both have had our eyes burnt out. OK, whatever... we ended up getting it. A closer read of the cache notes brought us to understand that the CO was up to some tricks.

Off we trotted to WP2. We looked, touched, wallowed in self-doubt, sought other locations, looked to the heavens and cursed the crazy pirate. Hang on a second... what the heck is that?! You’ve got to be kidding. We continued to call out unprintable descriptions of the CO. The only word we can include here is ‘sly’.

And now to WP3. By now having some insight into what we were up against we bumped around a bit until the penny dropped and we were standing at WP3 when a voice rang out. Damn, busted by a muggle! Hang on a minute, that’s no muggle, that’s Calypso62 himself! So nice to see him and now he can hear the list of unprintable names face to face!

While Mr Gaztek and the CO chatted, Mrs Gaztek followed the instructions to get to GZ. Poor Muggles! Lost for eleven years and still being looked for. But we found what we were after and had a really good time too. A favourite from us. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

As the NSW Government is now beginning the process of easing some of the Covid-19 restrictions, it is appropriate that my geocaches be brought back into play.

**Please Remember - It is still very important to exercise social distancing while you are out and about and to practise good hand hygiene after touching caches out in the geo-wild.

After numerous visits and getting stock at WP2, and a few hints from CO. I finally got this in the bag. WP2 was a slap in forehead moment. How did I miss that!? WP3-i was not really sure about. Got to the spot, had a look around, and I think I found the cache. Not sure about the "feet" hint. Anyway, a very creative and memorable case. Nice one Calypso62!

Wp1 was found quickly. But wp2? Spent some time looking but can't see anything obvious. I think I have the right spot.... Might need clarification with CO

10-Mar-20
TFTC, this was really fun after a long hiatus!
WP1 - didn’t take too long to find, and was hidden well
WP2 - took us a long while to find and nearly left without finding it until we came back for one more look and was kicking ourselves that we didn’t find it sooner!
WP3 - had a quick stop at the little library which was fun to see, (still unsure if that’s for the public to put something in and take something out) after reassessing the clues and description didn’t take long to find GZ, and it certainly did bring a smile to our faces!

This cache is somewhat legendary - and I can't believe I've never had a crack at it.

Found WP1 (reminds me of some of the old Philma waypoints in and around the city), but some tradies pulled up and started working near WP2.

Not the best look for a pale lanky youth to be picking at signs, so moved on. I think I know where the WP is, I'll have to grab next time

Thanks -- will definitely have to come back to Dural again soon for some caching.

We just wanted to do a few caches around this area today, but found out that Muggles had been put on a leash and moved to new temporary kennel. Contacted the CO who said Muggle could be visited and his visitors' book signed. So we did that and then were on our way. Thanks to Calypso62 for a fun multi cache.

18-Jun-19
I've been advised that a maintenance program will be conducted in the area that may impact on my cache. I'm not sure when this will happen or how long it will take. As a result, I'm disabling Muggles for the time being until I can determine what effect this work will have on the cache.

Find #200!

Headed out on the first sunny day this week to gather some multis in close proximity to one another, including this highly favourited one.

At WP1 I found the CO, Calypso62, who can’t resist enjoying someone else’s thrill of the chase. Also near WP1 was a shiny green mint tin, but that seemed to be unrelated. I pocketed that for future projects, then tapped into my caching skills and found WP1 for real.

Moved over to WP2, which took me quite a few minutes to work out, got what I needed then headed to GZ. Lots of traffic and my insistence on checking private property despite clear instructions meant that this took a little while too, but I soon had a moment clear of muggles to find what I needed, then Muggles appeared again and I had CIH. Signed log and returned whilst watching out for Muggles the whole time.

Favourite point for some great puns, an hilarious and terrifying mug(gles) shot, and a friendly guide Smile

This morning was my chance to put as much of a dint in this cache carnival nonsense as possible so I decided to take a trip to Sydney to find some caches with FPs which, to be honest, is not my favourite geocaching thing to do. Anyway, time ran out by about 11am at my seventh find as I had to return home (central coast) as I'd promised to take the young bloke to soccer for 1pm. But when that was over, everyone just wanted to veg around at home and do nuttin... so I jumped back in the geocar to come back down to resume where I left off! Did two more down Carlingford way and so by now up at Dural it was late afternoon.

Who doesn't love a Calypso62 cache? I consider [The Rock Star](https://coord.info/GC2BFPC) the turning-point geocache for me when I first started caching: if I wasn't hooked yet, I definitely was after that geocache. So I figured that a great way to finish a day of these kinds of finds, for this kind of challenge, is with a couple of Calypso caches. At WP1 I made a quick start, then at WP2 I was able to spot a typical Calypso hide lol. Then, out to WP3 and this is where the cache literally/ aptly lived up to its name...

You see, I misread my GPS and ended up honing in on an area 5m to the SW of where it turned out I should have been, which was right outside a house which was teaming with muggles. So much so that I was considering walking away as I just couldn't get on with it. I was crouched down in some clumsy attempt to be stealthy, double-checking the GPS, when I realised I was a bit off... and as I turned around to finally SPOT what I needed to for WP3, I was then approached by a different "muggle" from next door... well, seemingly a muggle... "you know what I'm up to don't you" I admitted. "Sure do!" was the response. It turns out it was the CO himself there to greet me! What a bonus to meet Calypso and pause for a bit to have a few laughs over what was unfolding for me and all the "muggles". You see, it turns out ALL the muggles surrounding this GZ know about the hide, including the ones who were looking across at me earlier and now SMILING AND WAVING from their front yard. "Watch Out For Muggles" indeed!!

Following the final instructions on the cache page now that I had my WP3, I chose a spot to checkout but NO didn't like anything there, then I spotted somewhere else which turned up the goods once I spotted the clever twist at the end ha! Phew! We stood around for about 20 mins at least after I SL to talk all kinds of cool stuff. I got myself 125 points towards this cache carnival just by FPs given alone, which I thought was pretty cool ..until Calypso revealed that he gained the (final) Rio souvenir a while back just by sitting back and watching his FPs roll in lol. Rightly so mate as your caches are always brilliant! This find will get me to 510 points which I think is a very fitting way to gain the souvenir. What a thrill to meet you Calypso you're a deadset legend! TFTC and when I get a spare FP I'll drop one here for sure!

**Total find count: 602**

Taking some time out to get some points in the current Souvenir Challenge, Cache Carnival. High favourite caches were the target for today, and these caches definitely earned their favourite points, even scoring a few from my collection.

How does a multi have so many Favourite Points? When it is a multi with a challenge, that is how!. Once the geosenses were tuned in, the hide at WP1 revealed itself. On to WP2. With a muggle nearby, stealth was used, and soon the hide revealed itself as well. With the coordinates in the GPS, we trundled off to GZ. A cute little library opened up, but the real GZ was discovered with some intuitive thinking, and some nice camouflage made for a quick find. Definitely FP worthy.

This is why I cache, that was brilliant!

Wp1 was good, but wp2 had me confused, I thought I was in the right spot & I thought I knew where it would be, but a local muggle was hanging around like a bad smell & I couldn't look properly. Checked with CO to make sure I had been in the right place. Went back again today ...................... how sneaky are you?!

I got what I needed and then off to GZ. Loved the little library & the sign. took a while to actually see where I needed to be, I could see the likely suspects where the cache was be but wasn't sure if I actually needed to find something else first. Turns out I didn't need to find anything else & a quick search let me find what I was looking for, again I was giggling, and again I say "Brilliant!" Have another favourite point Bruce.

Picked up early, before a family get together in Annangrove. Used the Magician app to sort of the coordinates and it also helped with the navigation, when paired my my Garmin. Then it was off to some Horcrux on the way home.

Today I headed out to Dural, for the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road, but I was also keen to target some high Favourite point awarded caches to boost our Cache Carnival points tally. Stopped for a few quick “park & grab” Traditionals on the way out, then after the T&T sale & BBQ it was over to Dural & Kenthurst for a few highly Favourited Multis, and then headed home via Baulkham Hills to target a cluster of highly Favourited caches in the Crestwood area, before finishing the day at North Rocks with Australia’s second oldest active geocache. This was the 5th of 20 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.

After cooking up a storm in Kenthurst, at "What's Cookin??", I headed back over to Dural for some more C62 Multi's and this was the first of the two on my target list. At WP1 the required info was quickly spotted & recorded, then it was off to WP2 where again the required info was quickly spotted & recorded, which came as a bit of a surprise. Was expecting to struggle here, after reading some of the log entries indicating that it may be difficult to spot, so I must have had my caching eyes on today Smile.

Arrived at final GZ, which had me standing in a highly unlikely hiding spot, so I checked my cache printout and realised that I was in the correct spot but that there was a twist to the final GZ hide. Standing at the GZ coordinates I could see the 15 metre range "features of interest" and started checking each of them (finding the cute little "the cache is not in the ....." message on a stick near one of them), and of course the cache ended up being at the last "feature of interest" that I checked.

The cache was being guarded by muggles, but after showing some kindness said muggles then presented me with the sneaky cache container. TNLNSL, then replaced everything as found. Thanks Calypso62 for another fine geocache, this one with a nice little final GZ twist.

Last cache for the day before heading off to an event. Parked near WP1 and proceeded on foot. co-ords for WP2 were quickly obtained and we headed off, arrived WP2 and started looking for the next lot of co-ords, a bit of head scratching bit co-ords were located without too much trouble. Headed off for final GZ, unfortunately had transcribed them wrongly and headed to a point 1.5 km away, after realising error, corrected co-ords and headed back. On arriving back to proper GZ, we saw what we thought were muggles @ gz, but it turned out to be the CO. Started searching for the cache and after a few false starts, T came up with the find.
Log signed and returned. Was good to meet the CO and have a short chat, we then headed off for the event @ Ebanezer. TFTC

Found with Coybear2000. C had put together a list of caches with lots of favourites to help us with the souvenir challenge. This was our 4th find for the afternoon. We arrived at the listed co-ords and quickly spotted the needed info. Then off to the first waypoint, where it took some time before C noticed what was needed. Unfortunately, the wrong info went into the car GPS and we ended up 1.5km away. Once the error was realized we headed to the correct spot. Parking nearby we saw what we thought were muggles at GZ. They drove off and we headed there, only for the car to return. It turned out to be the CO and Rama497, who had spotted us as we arrived. After a brief chat C and I continued our search and soon spotted the hide. I'm giving this a favourite for the ingenious mischievousness. TFTC. It was nice meeting up with Calypso62 and Rama497, who we met again later at an event.

Found with the help of teamMerlin. After finding the cache we signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Calypso62 - FP awarded.

On the way to the Coffee, Cakes and Conundrums #19 event, stopped by to see what could be found at the waypoints of this multi. Quickly located the needed information at the posted coordinates, but then came unstruck at WP2...more to the point we got spun at WP2! After about 10 minutes of pondering in the fading light we moved onto the event.

Managed to get some intel at the event and dropped by on our way home, armed with a torch. Information was quickly found on this sneaky hide which then gave us the next set of coordinates. Made our way to the new location parking about 20 metres from GZ. Walked over to GZ and found the little sign at the library. From here we checked several locations and eventually walked back over to the car and checked something nearby ...which came up trumps with finding the well concealed hide. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing everything as found. Both the cache and log are in excellent condition. Thanks for the fun multi Calypso62 - worthy of a FP.

The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, England since 1872, Herr Bert the Photoman, TB Gangaman, The Rock, Purply, teamMerlin's GIFF 2018 Geocoin Companion Tag, Kostka Donalda Entericha, Dino-run green, Travel Kitten Geocoin, Bloodhound

This is another of Calypso's remarkable caches that had me getting frustrated, with several visits to one of the waypoints, and each time coming up with nothing but a raised blood pressure. It started out a very long time ago, probably more than a year ago. I went to the first waypoint and immediately tapped into my geocaching instincts, finding the co-ords for the next waypoint. I admit that I had to use my phone's camera to do so, but that's because my eyes are not what they used to be, and I had to get a closer look to see the co-ords clearly.

"Cool," thought I, "this should be a doodle, a walk in the park," as I plugged in the next place to visit. Hah, not even that far away. And so I went over to the next waypoint, and that's where the journey ended each time. Bruce, you certainly ran rings around me; multiple times, in fact. I searched high and low, finding something that I thought alluded to the subtle hint. Alas, it was not to be, and I eventually gave up with no idea what I was looking for, and no further co-ords.

In fact, I went back to that same waypoint twice more. On one occasion there was a muggle nearby, and I tried my luck along with my little son on the pretext of collecting some of the Liquidambar pods that were plentiful around the WP. Well, all I got out of that trip was a car full of said pods, but still no further insight into how to extract any co-ords for the next step in the multi. I can't remember what I did on the next occasion, apart from mutter several curses, none of which produced any numbers, though. So much for my attempts at harnessing any magical powers from reading any of Harry Potter's adventures at Hogwarts!

Finally, at the last CCC event I attended, I finally went to chat to the CO about this most vexing little problem. I confirmed that I was in the right place, but that nothing was apparent and could I please get a nudge before I went loopy. I got some more intel, but nothing too specific. I was warned that I would probably have a few more choice words once I had made the discovery.

So, finally armed with the new intel, I swung past here with a friend while I was in the area. It was actually more on a whim than a targeted attempt, but since I was only a few hundred meters away, I thought I'd have another go. But even with more information, I was still perplexed and dumbfounded. What was going on?!? I looked and I touched, and looked and touched some more. Nada! Man, there certainly were a few less flattering words that were coming to mind. Then, suddenly I got it. Wow!! Brilliant!! At that point I did have one very select word for Bruce: it's an Afrikaans word -- BLIKSEM -- that could be loosely translated as "scoundrel", but it really depends on the context. In this case, the connotation is more one of admiration, something along the likes of "you sly old fox". Yes, you totally outplayed and outwitted me on this one, Calypso.

Great was my relief to plug in the next set of numbers so that I could head off to try and make the find. I spotted an X marking a spot, and thought that might be the one I was after, but it turned out that the GPSr led me to a different one. Then a little pirouette in the street, and I spotted three likely places I needed to check. Lady luck was on my side today because my first choice led me to the discovery. How absolutely clever and brilliant this cache is. It most definitely put a smile on my dial: I just love puns and plays on words. There was no mistaking the hide, and soon I had the container in hand.

At one point a muggle did appear, but they didn't seem to pay much attention to me. I was kind of expecting it would be the CO (not a muggle, obviously), laughing at me; alas, it was somebody else.

If I had favourite points, this cache would definitely get one. It probably deserves more: for running rings around me, for the clever hide, and for the play on words that tickled my addled mind. Well done!

What a great idea for a cache! Had a lot of fun with this one, read the description and yes I definitely could have walked it, however I chose to drive. Made it to the GZ and got a bit “cross” and to my great surprise and pleasure, who comes walking down the street but none other than the cache owner himself, Calypso62! Well now I felt the pressure! As I wandered from place to place I kept thinking - hmm where could this cache be. And then all of a sudden there it was! I couldn’t help but laugh out loud! Brilliant! Thank you Calypso62 for another wonderful caching experience and it was so lovely to finally meet you!

I admit I made heavy weather of this one. It took me two go's, and after consultation with the CO who is a tricky ^%$$# (said respectfully haha), some special TOTT to compensate for my own limitations. But, hey, I got there in the end. Without being arrested, committed, hospitalised or otherwise inconvenienced.

GZ took me entirely by surprise.. and I'm still ROTFLing.

I noticed the outer camouflage was looking sad so have now replaced it. The pencil was missing so have included another one in the cache. I wonder who the next finder will be? Who ever it is..... watch out for Muggles!! LOL

Cache on......

Ah another Calypso62 cache. Attempted this cache back last year and got stumped at WP2. Returned today armed with more experience. Parked the car at WP1 and got the coordinates, though this time in a slightly different location. Walked down the street to the 2nd WP, starting with the same idea as last time as to where it would be. Soon realising that I needed to expand my search, I noticed something a little out of place... With the coords for the final, we headed down to make the find. Realised we were standing where the cache wasn't and looked at the cache page. Ah, we split up and I made the find quickly. With a laugh and a smile, I found the cache, just as someone yelled, "You found it!". Well if you were the cache owner, yes we did and we loved it. The hide is ingenious and it gives me some ideas.. TFTC and please, take my Favourite Point.

Another fun cache thanks, on a proper summer's day ie hot.
I was fortunate to pick the correct destination first time.
Muggle across the road was semi-interested but his blower won the day.

Phew, I am so glad this cache is finally done and dusted. What a struggle it has been and I feel like a newbie!
The first waypoint was no problem, but it stopped right there. Walking to the second waypoint, there was no doubt we were at the right spot. But the waypoint did not reveal itself. We checked any other pole in a radius of 50 meter, but obviously without success.

We came back a second time.

We came back a third time.

We came back a fourth time.

We came back a fifth time.

As again there was no sign of the waypoint, I asked a hint from C62.
By the time I was back in Castle Hill C62 gave me a call and mentioned the spot I actually had my hands on twice, but never realised it was the waypoint.

So I went back a sixth time

I finally I found the waypoint. I was so annoyed and ashamed we never managed to find this waypoint. It turned out to be so easy.
I then moved on to the final point. That was an easy find, very nicely hidden.

What a cache it turned out to be. 40 litres of petrol and six visits later I am happy to finally get this cache turned into a smiley.

Tftc, to get this months caching souvenir it helped to find caches with high favourite points. What easier way to do this than with a C62 cache!

Out at night I made my way to GZ and spotted WP1 easily enough and headed down to WP2. It took a few searches before I noticed something stand out. I then headed to WP3.

I found X then looked around and spotted three possible GZs. Of course it was the last one before I found what I was looking for.

Wonderful cache as always.

Text from morty8888 last night read "might go and do a few Calypso caches this week if you're keen". Being a fan of Calypso caches there was no hesitation in replying yes and as rain is forecast for later in the week it was decided today would be the day. The caches he chose were, My Toy Shop, Wise Guys, The Dynamic Duo, Not So Plain Jane, Thunderbolts and Lighting, What's Up Doc, Where's The Indians and Louie.
On the way to the Wise Guys cache morty8888 suggested that I may like this multi cache, which he recently completed. I had trouble at wp1 but aftet a nudge I had some numbers, which I might add I had difficulty in reading. Off to gz where I eventually found a cross, however, the cache was found in the last place I looked; made easier by the lack of camo for the cache. TFTC Calypso62 and a fav point for your clever cache.

Located at 9:45pm. OCW Coastblue. Wow! Wow! Amazing! A favourite point straight up for this effort! I had made a list of caches for Coastblue and myself to tackle this evening. We had begun with the underground hike at 1905, a tree climb at The Nut Tree and then several mysteries and a nearby multi. Already an amazing evening but this Multi was perfection. Intricately put together and constantly surprising. The final had us chuckling and giggling and remarking how much we love Geocaching. Many thanks to Calypso for this stirling effort. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

OCW Alephroom. Over dinner we discussed what was next on our hit list. He mentioned there were two Calypso multis nearby. We parked at the Round Corner Arcade and walked over to the start of this multi. Waypoint one - genius! Waypoint two - clever! The final - sneaky and brilliant! Loved this one, thanks again Calypso! Glad to have introduced Alephroom to your caches. I think he’s quietly in awe! TFTC!

This has got to be the longest time anyone has taken to find each wpt. 5 years!!! Yep 5 years ago I found myself at wpt 1. This cache is not called Watch out for Muggles for no reason. Muggles foiled my attempt back then. 3 years later I stood at wpt 2 only to be foiled by muggles again. Today I was passing close by and wondered did I dare tempt fate for a third time. 2 years had gone by and surely muggles wouldn't be present again. I approached wpt 2. All clear. I used a different tactic so as not to draw the attention of the neighbourly muggles, park a distance away and pretend to be on a Sunday walk. This seemed to work well. I spied the required information immediately. No muggles, so I walked back to my car. Just as
I was about to get in and drive to GZ, ahhhhhhh........... muggles wanting to know what I was doing. No no no, not again. This has got to be the most unluckiest of caches. Muggles really did not want to be found. I looked up and almost started to laugh hysterically........... muggles, again......... what????, no muggles but a the CO. Disbelief. I was so happy to see the CO.... for he has followed my woes over the last 5 years. Whilst having a chat..... I made sure Calypso62 was not going to leave me by the side of the road.... for I just realised that I now had a red hot shot of finding this dastardly cache. A guaranteed find with the CO in tow...... he wouldn't really be that mean.... or would he. So off we went to GZ. No muggles........... or were they? I followed the instructions and through a process of elimination found the GZ I was looking for....... This gave me a good laugh........ as I was having my last chuckle a group of muggle kids walked past and said hi Josh's mum?????? Muggles???? Ahhhhhhhhh! I'm not Josh's mum I still hadn't retrieved the cache and this prompted some quick fumbling before the muggles returned. Completing the caching business with the CO at hand. All is now well with the world..... Muggles has been conquered.
This is a very ingenious cache, and brings a huge smile to your face. Thanks for sticking around so that I didn't need to come back in another couple of years.

I decided on finding this cache for my 600th, and I was not disappointed.

WP1 had me feeling so smart, deciphering such a cryptic clue like a seasoned NYPD detective. Heh, I like caches that make me feel clever. Smile After taking what was probably the long way to WP2, I suddenly felt stumped. Hmmm, that's what the clue means, but what does it really mean? Are things broken here? I dunno. Check this, check that. Finally, that classic line - "that doesn't look quite right." Ahhhh, you genius MrMalkovich. On to GZ. I overlooked the final location and didn't even spot the obvious, but when I finally did - a laugh out loud that could probably be heard for a block or two. Everything finally made perfect sense. Great stuff, Bruce. I love your caches and I loved every minute of this multi, and it's a definite favourite for me. Big Grin

In the area with only the CO caches on my radar, before his event.
This was a great little Multi, found out later it was the COs GZ.
I loved this one that much that I had to share it with some overseas followers,
And yes, have another favorite

Now this was one really fun cache! We arrived at WP1 with Phantom Cyclist and our mojo must have been in action as the required numbers were soon spotted. Then it was off to WP2 , but this one took longer to find. Our searching continued until eventually one team member noticed something that moved. Aha! Now we had something to work with and the new numbers were entered into the GPS and we were off to search for the next point. We hit a problem here and simply could not find what we needed to give us the right direction. Our GPS indicated GZ seemed to be some metres from where it was later found. After some time a vehicle came out from one of the properties and this person knew what we were after when we had introduced ourselves. A suggestion was made and when we acted on that a rather worn and faded symbol was finally spotted. From there we did make the find, at an appropriate distance. We were very happy to be able to sign the log.
This is one cache that was created with thought and needs thought to complete it. It was so much fun, even if quite frustrating at times. Thanks heaps to Calypso62 for an interesting multi for which we are giving a favourite point. All our trackables came to visit a really cute Muggle.

Today went out with goingplaces2 and did this fun multi. Found the numbers at waypoint one quickly. Walked to waypoint two this took lomger than it should to find the next set of numbers. When the numbers were found it was off to find GZ. After some help from a friendly person GZ was found. The cache was finally found and we both signed the log and replaced as found. A favourite given. Thank you Calypso62 for an interesting cache.

Out with the geoWife to collect our Mission GC souvenir for the weekend. This was our third C62 cache for the morning. Spent a bit of time searching in the wrong area at WP1 until I found the well concealed clue for the next WP. No Muggles here though. Just after we arrived at WP2, nearby muggle decided he needed to water his garden which made the search a bit trickier than it needed to be. Moved the car to help with stealth but I suspect he had seen similar activity before. Needed to re-read description where some nice clues confirmed we were in the right spot but wrong elevation. At WP3, "X" marked the spot but it was the second location that contained the goods. Happy to say that Muggles is doing well and keen to greet more visitors.
Thanks for another inventive multi C62. There is always something new and unique to discover.
