I was out this way on Monday night and noticed that this cache has had no action proposed since the storm event of the 4 Feb 2011. Is there any chance it will return? Or should you archive if it’s going to be washed away during major storms?
Washed away by the flood. The entire walkway was underwater... you couldn't see it at all.
We were passing by today 18th and decided to stop and look, it appears that during the floods that this cache was swept away as there are reeds around where the cache should be.
hopefully it will be replaced for next time we visit. Great hide spot.

This was #5 of 6 for the day. Great hide, never saw I would see a cache that big under a seat! We were here another time when we got Deep Thought, but we did not have time to get it then. Anyway, TFTC
Beautiful spot, so different to what was once here. Windy as all get out with muggle coffee drinkers surely watching. Fantastic hide, TFTC TNLN.
#289 10th of 10 in an afternoon's caching. Being a stranger to this area I was very pleasantly surprised to see how nice this area is. Enjoyed the walk along the lakes edge. Quickly signed the log as the weather was threatening and a rather cold wind. Thanks Bearsleys.
It has only taken 7 years, find #100 and what a lovely spot to mark the occasion!
Not sure what I was thinking when I logged this one, it started raining as I was signing the log and it appears I wrote June instead of September when looking at the photos, the Happy Fathers Day comment in my log should hint at my error LOL

#16 My goodness, how beautiful it looked there tonight! Wow! That fountain thingy in the middle looked so beautiful with its lights on. Very romantic!
But what a fantastic place for a cache! I can't believe that there is a such a big one there!

Weather was very bad and there really wasn't much reason for us to be enjoying the lake views. Luckily Stephanie K was extremely interested in the ducks and the fountain so we were able to slip and and slip out - terrible weather helped our cause.

Found this one with the geowife on a very cold winters morning. Thankfully after our find we could grab a nice hot drink at the nearby cafe. No swaps today. Thanks to the bearsleys for the hide.

A nice easy pick up with no muggles about because it was so wet and cold. Had a coffee at the nearby cafe after finding, heaven. TFTH...SL...TNLN
Took the Wife and Geo kids to find this one and Deep though,t Had to dodge muggles racing remote control yachts, made retreival and replacement very tricky lucky geo kids can get away with a bit more than adults and they were absorbed in their racing
Found on Saturday morning at about 11am.
Very nice hide, in a picturesque setting.
A couple of weeks ago we were in Geneva and saw the original "jet d'eau",
and it was nice to see this miniature one near the cache. It was going pon and off intermittently, I wonder what
the pattern is for its operation.
Anyway, found the cache without any problem.
Took the Matt's Gold Symbology GC and left a packet of oil crayons, or "Cray Pas" as we used to call them at school.
Thanks for this very nice cache.

Find number 11 out of 35 today. Last time I was here I had to log a DNF as there were about 5 old blokes playing with their remote control boats on this pier. This time we had the area to ourselves, nice spot for a cache, thanks.

Found with Minibogan Supermini.
Reasonably quick find - working just off the co-ords in the eTrex.
Muggles nearby feeding ducks didn't seem too worried. Picked up Woody TB and left a carabina lock.
Trip may end up being expensive, now looking into housing in the area!
Thanks for a well hidden cache.

Took two goes but we got it in the end. Darn muggles! Nice spot though and if we'd had more time we could have really enjoyed it. I had a 3 hour drive home after this.

We needed more than a shoelace today! We arrived just as family of bike riding muggles turned up and sat on one of the seats. Not any seat, but the seat our GPSr's were pointing too!
We left. Got some fuel, did another cache, and came back.
A clear run! We dashed over grabbed, signed, and fled.
Thanks, Robmc.

Today was my 2nd or 3rd attempt at this cache, and only the first time I actually got out of my car. It's a popular spot on a nice day, and past visits have been greeted by a myriad of muggles nearby.
Today was rather wild and wooly, and there was no-one around. I was hoping I wouldn't need to do a long painful search, but thankfully it was in about the most accessable spot and a nice easy find. Thanks for the cache in a great (but muggle friendly) spot.

Found in afternoon after a bike ride around Braeside Park with all the family. My eldest daughter got a little too close to the water. One sock and runner soaked through which put an end to the afternoon. Good hide. My son was impressed with the size of the "cache aids". Found by Wild and the boys. (Draw Two and Uno) They ran to the area when they saw the clue. TNLN. Thanks for this one Bearsleys.
I managed to return this cache just as a group of guys turned up with their RC yachts. I hung around and watched for a little while because they were pretty cool but more caches beckoned!

What a fantastic spot to while away the hours. But we had heaps more caches to find. Swaggie2 has already told me that we should buy that unfinished house opposite GZ so I guess I will have to work till I'm at least 85 to afford that place. We noticed when we came in that we had done another cache in this area before and sure enough it was "Sweet 16 Waterways by XF King". Good to see the popular spots recycled again!. Sat at the required spot and took photos of the ducks, whilst we extracted the cache, Took geocoins. Some parts of the cache were quite damp but the log was dry. Thanks bearsleys for the cache.
Found in the company of Acts2YouthGroup. This is quite a nice lake already with some trees which many of these developments seem to lack. A nice looking and very tempting cafe nearby too which we resisted. A good cache hide which really doesn't need a hint but no matter. Thanks bearsleys.
This was cache # 10 of 27 for the day, in the company of Alansee. A nice area to visit and a nice hide, that cafe looked very popular as well. My thanks to bearsleys for the cache.

This was our second find for the day and was located at 10:30. As we approached this one we both remembered finding a cache at the end of this body of water when many of the nearby houses were yet to be completed. After the GPSr settled down the cache was quickly located and the log signed.
Thanks bearsleys for bringing us back to this spot.

I did not have a GSAK update on the adjusted coords so I spent a bit of time looking for ultra clever and iinventive and improbable hides before consulting the clue and moving 11m away.
After that plain sailing and no one about yet this morning here.

We found this cache at 1:25pm as the 6th of 16 on our Bayside afternoon.A long time since we have geocached in this estate. The original cache "Waterways" was over 2,800 cache finds ago for us and had been long since archived. A very nicely set up cache. "A" made the find. Thanks from D, HA, H and A B-A.
A very pleasant spot for a cache. Nice easy find, TNLNSL.

Glad to see the co-ords have been updated - although once I arrived at GZ (using the old co-ords) the paucity of reasonable hiding spots had me reading the clue straight away and it was then a quick find of the nicely concealed container. This is a lovely spot which I can remember visiting once before for a cache (an old one by xfking) and I was happy to see how it has now settled down and provides such a nice spot for the birds (although I guess they'd probably prefer it as it was before it got developed!)

Thanks again Bearsleys

Headed out at about midnight on this really warm night to do a couple 'last day of the year caches' ! Made my way to Aspendale Gardens and pulled up close to GZ at about 2:00 am. Made my way out to GZ and searched around for a while but extended to search area until the cache was found. GPS was out by about 10 metres. Great night view across the lake. TFTC. Happy New Year.
Well I had the coords being 12m out, but that appears to have been well & truly fixed now. I started looking in the completely wrong area, without first reading the cache description (which would have definitely put me on the right path). Luckily Squalid was more on the ball, and came up with a surprisingly large cache almost immediately. We also spotted lots of very large fish swimming nearby. TFTC.
[Found fairly easily with Tealby after reading the hint. Thought it had been muggled though] when I saw a hook with nothing hanging from it in another place. [We also saw some large carp. Not only was their size alarming, there were also so many of them. Also bumped into TeamDunko! Small world. Thanks for the cache]
Found this and found Squalid at the same time! Lovely place. Co-ords seem a bit off (11 meters off) by my Garmin but it was an easy enough find and should present no difficulty.
There's something big living under there! It made quite a splash as I came 'onboard'.
Found the cache quickly, and stopped to enjoy the view. The lake is nice, but don't care too much for the houses though.
Took "Business Technology" fridge magnet, Left a Compass - it is magnetic!
Thanks to Bearsleys for the Cache
