Didn't realise it had been disabled when we went to look for it but are fairly certain that GZ no longer exists in the same way from what we could (or couldn't) see. Thanks anyway, an interesting spot.

Put us down for a DNF on this one. Checked the GZ thoroughly but could not find the cache. Muggled perhaps?

11.55am - Nice quick drive by cache, just had to wait a bit to put it back as a mum,son & dog decided to sit on seat right beside GZ
Quick find. Would like to know more about the nearby structure, will have to go back on a non caching trip. TFTC
This was our Firth to find for the day on our Waikato caching mission. Managed to find it easily through the fog at 7am. TFTC

Travelling from the 10 Year Rotorua event to the 10 Year Auckland event, picking up a few quick caches along the way. This was the fifth, and a nice easy find with the hint.

Very quick find. Mrs GT got this one while the rest of the family stayed in the car and watched. TFTC
Quick find with 3 Friesen grandies and their parents after enjoying the nearby Firth Tower and museum village on a warm Monday afternoon! Lots of history in the area and also enjoyed the very fragrant roses and sweet peas in the village. T eraser, left swag plus a geocoin. TFTH, TFTC
Found while observing 2 gyrocopters flying above.

On the way south, so a good excuse to detour for a stop. What a nice little spot, never knew about this. TFTC
Another 'firth to find'. Yay!! Was staying just up the road at the hot springs, couldn't resist doing all the local caches. Took the GC will move it on north. TFTC
Didn't know this was here. Looks cool. Took travel slug that I'll log once the placer has placed in this cache online. Left geocoin. TFTC
6.00pm. Was concerned at the presence of muggles having tea on the lawn but was able to make the pick up hidden by the trees. Left a TB.

First for the day, in the rain! museum not yet open, but the grounds look lovely.
Story of the last few days for us - yet another mower man! So another commando effort required to retrieve the cache, NINO TFTC

Got it and nice and easy but had to wait for joggers to use the post as a turning area on the way back into town TFTC

Have been to the museum years back - was well worth the visit. Quick find today on way to Wairere Falls for a swim in the stream. tftc
