Needing to find suitable location. Will replant if one found. to many muggles.
had to get the kids out of the house for fear of cabin fever and decided to do a few caches. This was our second and no luck was had. We gave up after 20 minutes of searching through heaps of stinking rotting grass. Perhaps this cache could be moved to a more pleasant location.
We were greeted by the barking dog across the fence. Pretty amazing view over suburbia from here. Yes, tonnes of grass clippings. TFTC TNLN SL
All I can say about this one was YUK!!!! The constant barking of the dog over the fence near the cache had us worried that we'd draw some attention of neigbhours but no-one appeared. Digging through stinking, rotting grass clippings was no fun. There was a nice pile on top of the cache and the cache, when found, was slimy, yucky and smelly on the outside. The inside of the cache is nice and dry but YUK!!! Didn't really enjoy the finding part but glad to actually make the find.
This one won't be scoring any favourite points. Yuk! Out with Tassie Trekkers for the day. TNSL.
What can I say mmmmmmmmm............grass clippings......... geohubby dived in and found the cache. Found with whitewebbs
Yuk! Didn't really fancy searching through that but we were lucky and the fresher clippings on the top soon uncovered the treasure. The dog on the other side of the fence certainly wasn't happy about us being near his turf. Thanks.
Clawing through a huge pile of messy, muddy, ash and lawn clippings to find this one. Should have brought a shovel. Put it back not as deep but suitably well hidden. Thanks for the cache.
Took a travel bug (Bobby Pin). Left a spinning top.

What a lovely hidden park; great place for kids to kick a ball!! Easy find. TNLN
[Our second ever cache! I need to get fitter if I'm going to keep doing this! Bit of a worry poking around in grass ....... thinking about snakes, but the stash was interesting. Our 5 year old would have loved to take something but we'll have to get our own stash to take with us next time so we can do a swap. The pen was terrible so I left my very swish pen for good karma.] Interesting practise of throwing your lawn clippings over the fence onto a public park! Bit yucky digging through the lawn clippings!
a nice quick find after digging in lawn clippings.
the pen needs replacing so I was unable to sign log, did the best I could until pen died
Left TB

This was an easy find as the cache was sitting out in the open.
Everything was still ok so I signed the log and re hide it with a bit of cover over it.

[8] We found it easily as we live right near it. Very good place to hide it but maybe check on it every now and then as people do not swap things, leaving the next geocaches to find nothing.
Quick and easy find while on holiday in Tasmania. Just in the next street. Cache #100. TFTC
First find of the day on our Easter Tuesday visit to Kingston. Lottie LOVED the dogs barking on all sides and the noses showing under fence pailings.
Thank you for the cache.

Found it with a couple of Japanese students. They were amazed at the amount of hidden land. Dog not too much trouble - we ignored it and so it lost interest. Left TB. Took frisbee (it popped out of the bag and the students screamed - very funny!! Had to have it after that) PS No grass so cache was pretty much visible. Added some extra cammo.
Sweated up the hill on a *very* hot day.
What an odd little park - just an empty space with nothing in it...
The pen was broken and I didn't bring one, so I'll have to go back and sign the log book another day.

Had a chance to grab this with the insistance of Jr Geo, Princess Geo and friend we set off. Yes, the dog was barking but my Princess Geo found the Princess Polly cache quickly. We left a frisbee for the next person and in a park that big could be used to great effect! Took nothing. TFTC Stumbleduponit.
Stumbled upon it at 1604hrs on the way home from the Moscow Circus. No dogs, no mugglers and plenty of grass. Enjoyed the little sojourn. TFTC and cheers OldSaint.
Found easily with the iphone, Mr red tag will be proud of me
Not a barking dog to be heard, maybe they knew where I worked
Thanks for the cache Stumbleduponit
Took nothing
Left a keyring

What he said. Joint FTF to us.
Oh and the pen needs maintenance as it is munted.
And the dog is noisy - definitely need some biscuits to shut it up.
Thanks for the cache
