Logs
Hier haben wir lange umsonst gesucht. Daß der Cache schon lange archiviert ist haben wir leider erst später entdeckt.
Looked for 20 mins and still didn't find it. Climbed all over it with no sight of it while pretending to have a photo
We've found this before, but the kids love the tank, so we dropped by today. I managed to have a quick look in between waves of the muggle swarm that was there, and did not see it where we found it before. This may not take into account cache creep.... in any case I think a cache check would be worthwhile.....
Had about a 15 minute free search before some muggles arrived and sat on Matilda.
Oh well, you can't get them all. Thanks.

Found this one on a trip up from VIC. Skirted around looking everywhere then consulted previous logs. Not long after the log was signed. Thanks for bringing me here
No clues needed as already given. Quite easy to find and helps if one asks oneself where would a reasonable spot be to place this. Interesting hiding place 'object'.
I always have trouble finding this type of cache and often do not find them. Well, guess what.....
I did not find this one either.
I did not find this one either.
A nice easy find while in singleton for work, took a bit of work to avoid suspicion from passing muggles, thanks for the cache and for bringing me here.
I had spent the week visiting friends in Queensland and I was on my way back home to Sydney. I had spent the night in my car with my 2 geodogs 5kms north of Singleton in a new rest area. Woke up at first light and decided I might as well head on home so I can go back to sleep in my own bed. As I was driving through Singleton I couldn't find my turnoff and ended up driving through town and decided I might as well grab a cache. I was disheartened when I saw Matilda because I never have much luck finding caches on these structures. But luck was on my side so I SL #2871 on streak day #1647 TFTC
Moving day for us, from Holsworthy to Toowoomba. Only fitting we commence our new posting with a military themed cache. Took a bit more searching than anticipated as we focused on the wrong side first. Upon arrival in the car park we saw a caravan with a number plate dnf... for a minute feared it may be an omen, but luckily not so. Tnsl, tanks for cache!! xo
Stopped here on the way up to the Barrington Tops. Turned out to be a quick find. TFTC
Stopping in Singleton on my way to Brisbane for Christmas. Nice little area and an interesting geocache.
Found at 1025. While I like checking out military gear. Looking for caches in and around them is another thing. TFTC.
Find #938
Day one of our boys geocaching and camping weekend today, we drove out to Scone finding 21 caches and one DNF. The heat (and the flies) got to the kids after a while, and we called stumps for the day. Tomorrow we drive up into the mountains!
We arrived finding the tank deserted today, and started searching. The kids just had a ball climbing it of course. The hunt was getting nowhere, and a DNF was looming when Samuel called 'Found It!' and we had CIH. Tricky cache! Thanks.....

Well the pervious clues weren't any help. Lol. The hides holes are hiding holes.
Visiting Singleton and trying to get a couple of caches found. Nice easy find. TFTC
We thought this would be a challenge when we saw the army tank, but luck was on our side and it was a quick find. Plenty of parking and not many muggles about. Signed log and no off for a day of caching in Singleton and surrounds, as we visit the Hunter Valley. TFTC
Dropped off 'A New Cacher Geocoin' to continue its journey. Nice find on a rainy afternoon! TFTC! : )
A lot easier to find than the original one that was on it.
I can't believe how busy this road is in the early morning. Its just as bad as Sydney.
TFTC lilla07
Find 5025 logged from c:geo.

Out and about finding a few caches in Singleton.
What is worse than a Gun cache? A Tank cache. At least it should be easier than a locomotive cache.
A few hints in previous logs pointed me in the right direction.
Soon found the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Couldn't search, muggles picnicking next to GZ, and a mini-muggle right on top of the tank!
Travelling from Sydney to Tamworth, up the New England Highway, for the April School holidays and stopping off along the way to pick up a few caches. This was the 6th find of the holiday.
After striking out at "Welcome to Singo" we continued the very short distance to this one. Searched the military hardware for a short time before geoson#1 made the find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
And no sooner had we done the replace when the "object of interest" was swarmed over by a half dozen young kids. Very nicely timed indeed. TFTC.

Had a quick look for this one a couple of days ago but too many muggles around! Decided to pop in on our way out of Singleton today to try again, yes! Found it, for our daily cache. TFTC
Loved this cache. Did it while in the area for an appointment for the little fella. Over thought this one and was In my face the whole time and didn't need to climb all over it to find it. Thanks for this cache.

Linden/6 & Immyky, returning from Goulburn to Brisbane (via Victorian border & ACT LOL ...).
It would NOT be right to ignore all the caches en-route! LOL ...
Day 6, Windsor to Singleton.
Our 109th cache on this trip.
We spent far more time looking for this than we should have.
After going over everything twice we eventually found it staring us in the face. LOL ...
Left our mark & replaced as found.

Stopped for the driver reviver on the way to muswellbrook. Great service for a well needed break. Thanks Lions! Great location to pick up another smiley! Tftc!
Tftc, this is the third time we've looked for this cache on our way through Singleton, finally found it.
So many possibilities and worried about looking suss. But had good cover with a friend i am introducing to caching. TFTC!
Just passing through on the way home, a quick check of any close caches.
Bingo ! Knew it, just the ideal spot for a cache to break the trip with a rest stop.
Thanks lilla07

Found while passing through, headed of to G.Z. looked at all the possible hidey holes , stood back for a think and there it was ( I could see the cache standing back from G.Z.) you can be lucky sometimes TFTC
Tanks for the cache. Lots of muggles could they be looking for what I'm looking for?
Traveling and in the area for a few days. Hubby is participating in a hobby nearby so little miss geobub and I are grabbing caches in the vicinity.
Spent 20 minutes scouring the wrong side of the tank, once I got my tracks on straight it was an easy find. Make sure you are on the right track, otherwise you look silly to the muggles. Thank you for the great find, was awesome to inspect a tank up close and personal. I bet they are really loud when moving! Oh and it's my hundredth find, what an awesome milestone! TFTC.

Found it second time we looked! In a really easy place. I swear i looked at it a few times! It looked like part of the design! TFTC
Found it after close inspection of the cache. Was just about to give up when i spied something not uniform.
Out for a day of Caching with Nellc it was decided that we hit the Singleton area we found many good caches in the area and this was one of them TFTC.
6th of 25 on the way to Upper Manilla. The spoilers in earlier logs helped but weren't 100% accurate. TFTC.
TFTC! Great spot to visit! Enjoyed looking at the tank very much. Hats off to those that fought in her to buy us the freedom we enjoy today. Lest we forget.
It was getting quite dark and the staff had just left so we had an easy search with a small torch. I was lucky to spot the container before too long, sometimes a torch makes it a lot easier with these sorts of caches. Thanks for a great hide.
Stopped by here again, but still have no idea where it could be. BillHill531 and I looked high, while Junior went through the tunnel.
Found on a days caching with Tack123 and Noddyb77 in the area.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice quick easy find on our way home from Ozmega QLD 2015 unfortunatly unable to sign the log due to being full.
Before starting our singleton date hunt, we stopped here, but we only found a frog.
Stopped here for lunch on the way to Stanthorpe for the Mega event. Mrs Shifter looked at the phone and realised there was a cache here so it was out first cache for the trip.
Thanks for the hide lilla07.
Thanks for the hide lilla07.
Stopped here for lunch enroute to the Mega. Luckily, this didn't take long to find.

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! Gues we'll have to comeback some other time!
Thanks anyway to lilla07 for bringing us to this location.

Took two visits about 3 hours apart but I did eventually find it. Not sure why I didn't find it on the first visit. TFTC.
