We have decided to archive this cache as it has been muggled several times and we seem to be unable to stop the cache from being destroyed. Not sure who is doing it, but they clearly don't support geocaching in this area.
I thought this would be a breeze collect and go, but not so. There has been heaps of activity nearby so we ( Miss Mary Dale) were wondering has it been muggled????
I love the history, thanks for sharing these entertaining tales.. and I loved the container! It seemed a little cramped with so many swaps but I managed to squeeze the log back in.

WooHoo another find for the wife. Starting to think that I might finally be getting the hang of this.
Easy find, and obvious.
Cache is well stocked. Took NZ coin and left toy rhino.

Well I reckon the cycling touring duo found this one even though it has been evidently muggled because the classic spot was found and several contents were found within 1 metre of the site.
The cache has been muggled, colleted some typical cache contents found within one metre and cliped together and placed in the most probably hidey spot.
First find today, just introduced my dad to the world of geocaching, tftc took army man left pirate treasure
First cache I've found with two siders attached! A little black one and huntsman clinging underneath!
Another interesting history - always enjoyed - signed the log. Thanks Bob's_your_uncle
We haven't ventured down this road before. We enjoyed the stories about this area. TFTC .
Found today on the weekend of the FME, many thanks for the hide.

Thanks to uncle Bob.
Thanks to uncle Bob.
5.00pm. This was the 3rd of 4 caches for the little caching spree I had, whilst I was bored. I really can't understand why I hadn't tried to find this one months ago. I parked on the ants nest, as I normally do...I'll be getting bullants out of the car all week now. Nice easy find, did no swaps. TFTC
Cool Hiding Place just need to be careful of the local Ants when Retrieving It they where sleeping on it....
Called in to check on the cache and drop off a TB. The huntsman is still guarding the cache - I think he likes it!.

Flying solo today on the way home from a visit to watch a mate launch some rockets at Serpentine with the Triploi Rocket club. When I fired up the smartphone on the way home, these two caches popped up. Having a traveller which wanted to vist places starting with 'W", there was no decision to be made. A short drive across from the Loddon Valley Hwy actually took me right past GZ on my way to the station, so I grabbed this one on the way back towards Bendigo.
TNLNSL and thanks for the cache ! There's some interesting history in these parts. We'll be bck sometime soon to clean up all those caches I didn't have time for today !

Micheena - Muggle family that was with me, didn't know the history at their door step. Thank you for the Woodvale caches. Nearly have them hooked. TTBLN
Out doing a few finds on my own while the rest of the family were busy elsewhere.
Arrived at this one, parked the motorbike right next to it, quickly spotted this one, retrieved it from its hiding place, had it in my hands for a couple of seconds, then niticed the huntsman that was travellling up my arm from the cache, it was quickly thrown to the ground........
After ensuring the hitch hiker had left, I left my mark in the log.

Found with my mate Blacklegend17 (Marshy) during our 2 day Bendigo cache blitz. Back into night caching mode on this very cold night. Nice quick find. TFTC.
40th cache on the second day of our caching run to Bendigo with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671). 71st for the trip so far. Into night caching mode for the second night in a row, so the torches were in use. Made a quick find and took a TB.
Went caching with my new GPS, but luckily we were with Scooter1975 as my settings weren't right and my GPS didn't quite get me there. Nice day with the gang on my Aunties birthday Thanks for the cache.
Continuing our road trip after attendance at the Wagga Mega event, one of quite a few found during the tour.
A nice easy find.

I can believe roads are subject to flooding, after all the water we've seen after just a couple of hours deluge. T4TC, M@
Tested out the iphone app for geocaching alongside the usual GPS - VERY accurate - the exact same distances on each.
Again we had missed closing time which is a real shame at this place as it sounds as though it would have been a lively place to visit and spend a few shillings. Once again we had to be happy with a drink of water and fortunately a nice easy cache find. Thanks again for the history and the cache
It was nice to come out here this morning and grab a brace of caches without the worry of suburban muggles.
Always like these sort of caches with a bit of history thrown in.
Thanks.

A quick easy find, but then again I was in the passenger seat LOL.

I enjoyed reading the history on this one, very funny. That would have been quite a sight to see. The cache wasn't as difficult to find as the last but the hiding spot seems to be the perfect size. I dropped off another geocoin for the next visitor.
Thanks,

This was cache # 25 of 43 for the day, in the company of Alansee on a very hot day touring Bendigo and surrounds. A nice easy drive by, sure could have done with a cold drink. My thanks to Bob's_your_uncle for the cache.
Found on a hot day caching with Acts2YouthGroup. We spotted the hide as we drove up and he very kindly let me stay in the air-conditioned car as he did the paperwork. I didn't say no! Thanks to Bob's_your_uncle for the cache. No sign of the Hotel though, unfortunately.
Nice drive by cache, was able to see the likely location as I approached from the lofty heights of the Nissan, sure enough had the cache in hand within seconds of alighting from the Nissan. TNLNSL TFTC
Found with The Easts tried to let muggle friends find it but got to frustrated watching them flounder about as weather was dubious so Judy from The Easts just walked up and grabbed it . TFTC
First find for the New Year, out with the AppleBees and some first-timers, dont think they will make the grade, didnt want to get in and get dirty!
Found by the Crazy Creels and Paul on a stinking hot day. The air con in the car is colder than the house so we decided to go for a drive. A good quick find. TNLN SL, TFTC.

Not a bad cache, with some good history. I have never got a FTF but I now know that finding it first thing the following day is no where near quick enough.
Found with the Cat Lady this morning at 7.30am. We thought we were going to be the first......we were also wrong.
cache was a bit of fun.

Was part of the scramble for finding first but missed out by a few minutes this time.
Spose 4 in one day would be being greedy but it is fun trying.

We had just completed a cache at Maiden Gully on our to "to do" list and the alarms went off for two new caches just published at Woodvale, a mere hop, step and jump from our locaton, so off we set. Arrivng on scene H-P quickly found the sought object, and as we were returning it to its resting place another pair of headlights arrived on scene - Romax. Thanks for the FTF prize and well done on your first hide - we look forward to many more.
Took FTF gift and certificate, LN . . Sl . . TFTH Bobs your uncle.

Found with Hanseeka, 3rd to find.
Set off less than 5 minutes after the alert came in, we where sure that we would get our fourth FTF for the day but alas, once at GZ Romax and Phetlern arrived only to reveal that they had already found it.
I signed the log and no exchange was made. Thanks Bobs Your Uncle for this well hidden cache.

Found by Roma and Max.
Bendigo has been a busy place today with 5 new caches published.
We arrived at this one just as Peter & Helen were logging their find, we added our name and proceeded to your next hide just down the road.
Thank you Helen & Jim and congratulations on your first hide.
