Lots of overgrowth, trash, and that smell! Hasn't been found in two years, CO should check this one.

Our last cache of the day.
Needed to use a phone-a-friend to redirect us the correct way, but after that it was an easy find.
I'd actually stepped almost on it earlier in our search!
The neighbor chicken is STILL nested nearby!
For other searchers, it's a ways to the right of the cache-chick's nest!
(Boy did that chicken freak exploringmom out! Way surprised to see an eyeball looking back at her as she cleared away the overgrowth!
It was pretty funny! [:o)])

TFTC, liked the size and we discovered a TB-YAY!

We actually tried this one when it first came out (with Richard), first to arrive at GZ but didn't find the booty. This time around, we brought KaeKae who was pretty excited to find her second cache in a row. It took us a while but reading the logs about the nests were a big help. But after a while, we still couldn't find it so KaeKae got on the horn to wake Sannn up for help. No answer but that was okay because we found a SECOND nest where the cache was close by. It was hard and I was scared but that's why Auntie Faith went with me. I almost couldn't find it. I looked deep inside all those branches with Auntie Faith and Auntie Lacee.

When we hid this cache we had NO IDEA that there was a nest of eggs RIGHT next to it until everyone mentioned it in their logs. We went back the next day and sure enough, there was the nest and there were the eggs. We figured all our disturbance in the area scared the mother hen away. BUT when a few days later, Team Swiper logged that the mother hen was ON the nest...I figured I better warn everyone to be careful if she's there.

I was going to temporarily disable it, but like Rocket said....the eggs are due to hatch anytime soon and then we'll determine if we want to move the cache to another spot or not from there depending on whether or not the family vacates the area. I just want anyone attempting this cache to use their discretion and not do anything to harm the family or to endanger yourSELF if she goes into protective mode over her babies. *sheesh* Never thought our cache hide would be at the mercy of a MOTHER HEN!

That is something though, that with all our caching adventures and stories that we Duck Hunters come across when we're FINDING caches, we still manage to inadvertently come up with the CRAZIEST things when we're HIDING caches. Only in a Duck Hunter's life would this be normal. Big Grin

Take Care and Happy Caching!

Found with Blygoat and Kiwika,
Nice little hide in a quiet neighborhood. I recommend doing this at night to reduce the muggle factor!

Came back to check on our (Team Duck Hunters) cache and the mother hen was nursing her eggs and protecting them so maybe you should give it another week or two until her chicks hatch to find this one... Wink

Checking out another cache in the area so stopped by to check this one out too! Neat area...I agree! Thanks for the little bit of history about the area. TFTC SL

Found this after some chicken and egg investigating. I think I was more afraid of being attacked by the mother hen than getting bitten by a snake. After another Team Swiper member and Sher_Bear from Team Duck Hunters were on chicken attack patrol, I looked and dug out the cache. It was fun finding this thing. Maybe we can revisit this place when the eggs are ready and cook us some scambled eggs. - Go Team Swiper!

Yay! SannnRox's first hide and second for the Duck Hunters! I was with SannnRox and iJosh when she placed this one. I grew up around this place...in fact...my grandparents use to live on Chalan Kanton Tutujan. As children, my cousins and I use to walk to this place everyday to pick up our snail mail. Tan Sabet was the name of the elderly woman who use to run this P.O. I forget her husbands name. I miss having to walk down the street just to get my mail. Now I have to take a drive to Hagatna. TFTC Sanny and here's to many more!

*****Shared FTF with Geofreqman, Veganmimi, Mr. & Mrs. Ungkulu!***** Arrived at GZ and started to look around when I discovered a hen's nest full of eggs near the cache. Just then, 2 cars pull up so I strolled back to my car "talking" on my gps. Out jumps Mr. & Mrs. Ungkulu and Geofreqman & Veganmimi. Ugkulu & Veganmimi head off in one direction while I give Geofreqman the coordinates. We head in a different direction. Geofreqman uncovered the cache as I was pointing out the eggs to him. Nice hide! Had a nice chat for awhile to wait for some nearby muggles to disappear and then left for your next cache. TFTC-SL TNLN

Wow, this brings back memories of high school, used to come up here to visit friends and I used to read this area when I first started working. Nice place, came up after lunch with JIMP59. Nice hiding place. Happy New Year to everyone!

Big Grin Yey get to share FTF with geofreqman, veganmimi, and blygoatBig Grin. Best part about geocaching is catching another cacher looking for a cache, seen at a distance when suddenly that thing he was holding and looking at turns into a phone. Wink the best kind of geomaneuver decoying trick Big Grin. Using your gps as a phone does throw off muggles.whatever works we do. Big Grin

I remember this place, yuppers there was a store or post office there huh? My mali' lives just around the corner, we use to snick over to this corner hiding from our kids from seeing us smoke our cigarettes. nice location too. Oh shoots I wanted to take them eggs.. lol fresh eggs are good for you..as my grandparents use to say to us. Stood around for a bit, while a muggle was parked directly in view of where cache was to be replaced. Once muggle leaves geofreqman places cache in a snap. Always great to see fellow geocachers around.

A continuing saga... leaving Tutujan Chapel we are right behind the Ungkulu cachemobile as we head for this next new cache by Duckhunters.
As we round the corner we see a familiar friend all of a sudden talking on his BB. It was fun to spook Blygoat with a muggle-moment.

We were more fortunate (beat Magahaga on this FTF!!). Shared the FTF with Blygoat Mr. & Mrs. Ungkulu and Veganmimi.

Way to go Duckhunters. Nice hides. TFTC TNLN SL
