will temporarily disable this for the time being... don't know if i'll be able to put another back in its spot (or close to) as they're building a shopping strip there at the moment...
There is a large fence blocking GZ. Not a chance of searching for this one!
Tried all the obvious places - couldn't find anything. looked around, really nowhere else. Tried again reaching in further - there it is. Any further in and I wouldn't have been able to grab it (and my arms are not short). Left it a bit further accessible.
thanks, Robmc.
thanks, Robmc.
School had just come out for the day ad the roads around here were choked with traffic. I let Rob do the retrieving and he trusted in taking the plunge to get at this one.
Out and about with IolantheK on a fine Brisbane day on the bikes.
Decided to finish the caches that IolantheK hadn't found in the area (as well as breathing the free air).
Waited a good 10mins for someone to catch the next bus before commencing our search. IolantheK came up with the goods (very brave lady that IolantheK, I wasn't going to .....).
Thanks for the cache bubba_89 great work

Out and about with my geospouse T-Tech on our bikes
This one took up quite some time as we had to wait for a muggle to leave Knowing the nursery rhyme certainly helped (and I had to sing it to remind T-Tech!) but which one?!?!?! I'm not a fan of sticking my hand into unknown places, but a smilie is a smilie Big breath and the deed was done. TFTC, bubba_89.

Day three of my geocaching holiday around Brisbane. Had a lot of fun finding some very good caches. Soon had this one located. SL Thanks for the cache!
Quick find. Was a bit concerned since this is on a busy road and muggles everywhere (in cars at least). Quick find, a swap or two and back home.... TFTC
Found while out for a walk amongst the monsters, with William, Amelia, and Geomummy from Will.i.Am.elia & Co -- Jade, Ronald, and Gemma, from Gem83
decided to try for this on our way home, but after reaching in the three closest things to GZ was disappointed to find nothing ... maybe my arms are too short

This was our third attempt at this. Why did it take us so long??. Went straight to it and was thankful that there was a poster up today as a muggle sat at the busstop just before we got there.
Well this cache has been long on my watch list as it is a little difficult to park for. So after parking for a nearby cache, I wandered over to this one and armed myself with an appropriate "tool"... At GZ ended up being a quick and easy find!!
Thanks bubba_89
Thanks bubba_89
Found with family cachers. The title told us the location, it was just a case of which one. TFTC
TFTC! This was the eighth cache found for the day out of a total 10. We decided to detour up to the road from the creek especially for this one, then we would head back down to the creek to continue our intended course.
Approaching GZ everyone thought they knew where it was, but we were all wrong. We sat back thought about our nursery rhymes then soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks bubba_89

Found while out with family for an afternoon of caching. Luckily the reaching in didn't come with a neighbourhood spider! TFTC
Sticking your arm into a hole looking for a spider is just so wrong. I just haven't quite been the same with this sort of thing since stumbling on a large snake at "Critter Crossing".
Closed my eyes and grabbed it without any problems from the caches namesake, or their relatives.
Retired to the nearby shelter and signed the log. Surprised it was nice and dry given its hideyhole.

This location being close to public transport allowed me to look somewhat normal - lol.

I have never grabbed a cache quicker in my life... i was so nervous of finding the namesake with the cache. I did find it though... without any bites TFTC
OK. Took some time. Our first idea was spot on but failed to find until the better half persisted. Good idea, amazing it doesn't suffer the same fate as Intsy!
Hee hee! Nice little hide!
Got a few fortunate breaks in traffic that I used effectively.
Thanks Bubba!

The hardest part was remembering the rhyme. Took me ages. .....then it was a quick find LOL
Found on a day I was suppose to clean the house (oh well the mess will still be there when I get home). There is so many geo-coins in there I could barely close the lid. I did take a travel bug though to move on (my first ever track able find). Just need to wait for this muggle to catch his bus so I can place this cache back securely. Tftc
Have been out of action for awhile and was passing this one so dropped off travel bugs that I've had for way too long. Glad I could finally send them on their way.
Yippee 4th for the afternoon. I love these Reach in types. Geo wife hates them. Tftc
Long walk from where I could park my geo mobile. Could see cache from across the road. Made sure I poked it in further. TNLN TFTC Thanks bubba 89
Yay! Found it! My second cache ever and my first with swaps . Had to wait a few moments for th area to be clear but was a great find. And someone ad left a stick there to help me retrieve it . TFTC
I accompanied clankirks on a pleasant morning of caching and was very thankful when she located this one. Thanks bubba 89.
This has been on my wish list for some time now, seems every time I pass a bus is due, all clear today and the cache was found. Certainly had to be patient for this one Thanks Bubba 89
Two curious muggles made retrieving and replacing this one a bit challenging. Fortunatley they had headphones on and were dancing for some strange reason so we slipped the cache away when they were distracted. TFTC.
Found on a balmy night, which is highly recommended, as all good stories start with a balmy night.
Found with Allrounder & Fore on a marathon caching day last year - have been terribly slack about getting around to my logs online, so sorry for the lack of detail! TFTC.
Found @ 11:33am with Fore! and Team Goanna on Day 5, our final day, of our trip to Brisbane to visit Team Goanna
The terrain rating threw us at first but we soon had it hand when I thought a bit more about the cache name. Thanks for the cache bubba_89!

Okay... so the goal for the trip to Brisbane from the ACT was 50 caches in total, with an average of ten per day. On the 25th August, I bombed that out with only making one find for the day and electing other things.. silly me... and that left a minimum of 14 finds for the final day to make the original target average.... yeehaw, so bring it on...
This cache was the fifth one of sixteen finds for the day, and the first one with all three of us hitting the satellites - Team Goanna looked in futile places, I scratched my head, allrounder considered the cache description... and then Team Goanna endured a conversation with a bus-going muggle who was very interested in us and also in the apparent ALDI store about to be built in the area... anyway, I spotted and retrieved the cache without being noticed. Whew!

Quick find. After a "did not find" at the cache before, this was good for a pleasant end for today's geocaching day out.

Knew it would be good to come here at night. Narrowed it down, but hmm - which one? I checked a couple and then had it in hand. Mind you - I was a little worried about what else I might 'reach'!! Thanks bubba!
Found on a lazy sunday afternoon, so the traffic wasn't that bad. It was only a matter of which one? We drove past here last saturday morning and thought....no thanks! Took bulky Whistle TB as the lid wouldn't close with it in there. Interesting hide bubba 89, Thanks

A very rainy New Years Day find. However, the reason didn't affect the location or integrity of the find. An interesting spot to hide a cache.

This was cache # 18 of 21 for the day in the company of Radnoski on my four day fly in fly out visit to celebrate with my good friend La Kedi as today was her last day of Uni, we were off to Moreton Island tomorrow. I was sure I knew where this would be hidden and once i showed radnoski how us Victorian do it the cache was soon in hand. My thanks to bubba_89 for the cache.
Rebel Acts and I were in the area doing some caches. I tried to track down the cache while Mr Acts tried to find a parking spot.
After an equipment fail on my behalf (damn batteries) Mr Acts had returned and sweeped in for the find. (let's not mention where he parked the car..... apparently it is how it is done in Melbourne)
Thanks for the cache bubba 89.
While signing the log one of those pesky cache dwelling frogs hopped on in.

This was our very first find Had to use a torch as it was under the cover of darkness that we went on our hunt.
An easy find, but I am hoping that "when rain comes down" that this little spider doesn't get washed out.
Thanks
Thanks
=) excellent cache !!! looked like i was being anti social and waiting for a bus away from the busstop ..lol ..TFTC !! TNLN SL =)
Not being vertically challenged, it was necessary to bob down to check out possible hidey holes for this one - then had to pretend to wait for a bus before putting it back. TFTC bubba_89
We had driven past here once before but couldn't find anywhere to stop so gave it away until today.
With a bit more time, we parked around the corner and walked back. Not too much traffic today so we had time to get down for a good look.

519 - Found this one on an afternoon bike ride on a lovely winters afternoon at 4:56pm. We found it straight away in a break between the traffic. The geobikes provided good cover. TFTC bubba.
Up the hawkies! After a lunch at sandgate hawks found this easy find. Thanks guys.
ManGecko had this one before I had managed to cross the road. Nice hide. TFTH
Oooh. The name of this had my skin crawling, so after spotting the cache, I made DisSister get it for me - just in case. TFTC
EngPhil made the grab, as I appear to be ill-equipped for this particular cache!! TFTC!
We initially discounted that hide due to the terrain rating, but common sense prevailed and the only question was... which? We got there in the end after the muggle across the road chatting on his phone wombled out of sight. Pity MissGeosie wasn't with us tonight, this is one of her favourite rhymes. And she'd have probably spotted the hide quicker than her parents, too! TNLNSL TFTC bubba_89!
Pretended to be waiting for a bus while waiting for clear access to grab this cache ... and a bus came along! Never one when I need it, but when I don't .... sigh! Had to wave the poor driver on, slightly confused I'm sure (:-D
Cache looks good. Thanx
Cache looks good. Thanx
Parking ended up being the bigger challenge (not having a BCC bus up my sleeve :p). After a quick hunt I came up with the goods. TFTC!
Hunting with Svn07, we both dismissed the hidey hole and focussed on the wrong area... We checked all the obvious areas then ended up having nowhere left to check so work our way to actual GZ... We walked straight past it a number of times but, unable to see it where it was...
A little tricky maybe? Well, it had us for a while...
Cheers bubba 89.

Cheers bubba 89.
The inherent hint called to me before we even arrived at the cache....and once we did we discovered there were a lot of related options at GZ. Took Gunnie's "stand back" look before it was detected.....don't know why I got the extraction job . Must admit that I gave myself a bit of a heartattack upon returning the cache to the hidey hole....a little too well, perhaps. Don't worry, its now exactly where we found it.
Thanks for the cache bubba_89. Cheers, svn07

Quick grab at 0955. No one at either bus stop and very little traffic. GPSr was spot on. TNLNSL TFTC
On our way back from an evening of caching and decided that it was a good time to stop for this Intsy Wintsy cache.
We had already determined the location when passing by prior. Parked the car down the road, went for a walk, and once there was a gap in the
muggle traffic, we grabbed the cache, SL, and returned it safely to its spot.

This one has been on our list for quite a while but we needed to go at a nice quite time to avoid all the muggle activity on this very busy road. We knew exactly where it was so didn't take long to grab and sign it. TNLNSL TFTC
Not really the cache to do first thing in the morning when muggles are lining up to catch buses. Had to wait about 15 minutes for the buses to come along (one each way) before I could attempt the retrieval. When the people all went off to their jobs I found that my arm was only just long enough for the purpose.
Good hide but I hate having to put my hands into unknown territory.

Finding a place to park was harder than finding the cache, in the end! Once again, geo-niece was quick to grab the cache after some gentle guidance as to where to look. TFTC ='.'=
A quick find eventually. A bus was stopped when we first went past, we found somewhere to park not in the way and walked back, and a couple of guys were waiting for a bus right at the hide (not at the shelter near by). For some reason to decided not to wait for a bus and left. Hope we didn't hinder someone waiting for us to leave. Took "Have You Seen Me" TB.
Found at 0309 with Loupyloo.
Loupyloo and Mrs Simia got out while Mr Simia popped the bonnet and pretended to check the engine to make us look a little less suss
Loupyloo had the cache in hand in no time and we signed the log and headed home. Took the 'P' Stop Travel Bug. TFTC

The AmbulareSimia/Loupyloo graveyard shift was winding down for the nite when this one came up on our screen, so we pulled over. Had only checked a few spider haunts b4 i came upon the cache. Luckily Intsy Wintsy wasn't at home 2nite. Signed log book @ 3-08am.
Discovered "P" Stop Travel Bug and tho decided not to take him, he won't be here much longer.
Left : "Have You Seen Me" geocoin to continue it's journey.

Spotted the cache on arrival, so sat down to out-wait the muggles at the bus stop. Happily, their bus arrived within a minute. Grabbed the cache as the bus disappeared into the distance. TN/LN/SL.

Found at 1021 with Marg. A quick drive by after having to wait for some muggles to catch a bus so we went of to some other caches nthe area, Cache OK and dry. TFTC.
At 17:11. Our 3rd of yours Bubba_89 in half an hour.
Only one car behind us expressed annoyance when we stopped. Not normally a good place to park but traffic was very light.
The cache is fine which is slightly surprising given recent weather. The adjacent structure must be rather unnecessarily over engineered.

'Twas a bit muggly around here on my first ride past
The crowd was still growing, so I rode off to find a couple of nearby caches first.
On my return the muggle removal system had done its job and I was free to stick me hand in places others wouldn't [:o]
It took four tries before Intsy Wintsy was flushed out
