Found on the way to Melbourne from Adelaide after staying the night in this beautiful town That was our morning work out lol found fairly quickly, well crafted TFTC
Drove up TGOR from Melbourne today to see the sights along the coast and catch the light show here in Warrnambool. Had dinner at a local Thai restaurant and with some extra time before the show we swung by here for the cache. It was well after sunset, and I wasnt quite expecting the bush (guess I shoulda read the hint before committing), but we had our geosenses and a powerful flashlight so we dove right in. We approached from the right side and sort of came from below, which in retrospect was fairly easy. Made a couple of misidentifications, but finally spotted something nearly out of reach. As I turned it over I was pleased to see the cache container. Signed with TravelDragon99, rehid, and crawled back out to the now very dark parking lot with 10 minutes to get to my show. Greetings from Virginia, USA. TFTC
Gave myself 10 mins and then the weather set in unfortunately. GPS bouncing around in a lot of places based on the hint where it "could" be but it beat me today. Had to move on.
So many rocks, So many trees! I went deep, deep like a white girl on her 3rd bottle of rose deep.Unlike the above mentioned scenario, I didn't get lucky.
Found it , could we do this one at night? Let's find out. Following the hint, in we went, after a small search with no luck, back to the top we went. Read again, and all we had to do was go a bit deeper. Sneaky hide, Tftc
A quick scurry down the hill between groups of muggles was required. Cool cache. Happy Easter and TFTC.
After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and slowly catching up on all my logging. This was a very long full-on day as we crossed the border from SA and had a lot of LGA's to tick off on our to-do list before eventually making our way across the states. The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them. Our logs were signed as 5 for QLD to save room on the log sheets ??
**Today:**Found with DSDToday we decided to both visit the Great Ocean Road for the first time! This wasn't originally on the plan for this trip, but our route changed slightly due to fires and we were too close to the coast here to miss it! We started caching in Port Campbell and ended our day in Mount Gambier, where I also crossed the SA border for the first time as well! A hugely productive and incredible day of amazing sights and plenty of new places visited. ---**This Cache:**Had burgers for lunch up here, then after came to find this odd cache! Great location up on Cannon Hill, but then the cache was down a steep decline with lots of rubbish and it was a bit dark and gloomy! Took a little while to locate the cache too, but soon spotted it. A hiding method that is used in abundance by a local geocacher back home, so wasnt too hard to spot! Thanks for the cache!
Got this one.Our plan hatched months ago when we learned that the Ballarat Geotour would be ending in early March. From Sydney it was a no brainer to do both. A host of characters conspired to make plans. Including drobbonz kimmy533 Kiwisteve2 and tessa-bella. The trip morphed multiple times but Adelaide was the goal for Leap Day.I spent the last one in Las Vegas.Sydney, Ballarat, Great Ocean Road, Adelaide, Flinders Ranges, Mildura and back to Sydney. TFTC
Tijdens de Great Ocean Road route hier gestopt voor een overnachting. Tijdens een wandeling deze gevonden. Bedankt!
The hardest part of this cache is finding a time when people are not hanging about eating lunch in their cars, simply enjoying the view. This was my second actual attempt and around my fifth visit. I realise now that the first time I didn't go into the shrubbery far enough. I was also expecting a much different cache style from what I found. It's a fantastic spot here. I did see some "Hands Off Canon Hill" stockers on cars around town, so hopefully, nothing horrible is about to happen to this incredible place.
Domani all'alba partiamo per l'Australia... Thanks Owner
This one definitely took some hunting. Luckily there were quite a few of us ( including many of The Gees) and so it wasn't too long before someone yelled 'Found it' Great little hide, TFTC!
In windy wet Warrnambool on a walk to clear off Christmas over indulgence with family. I signed th log and list the lid in the process So sorry folks.
Spent the morning around Warnambool for a few caches. Log was full but snuck a date and MR (in pink biro) on a bit of white space. Approached from the wrong angle but existed the easy way. TFTC.
Weve treated ourselves to 2 nights in a caravan park with a Black Friday deal. Today is day 2 we had a nice little tour around town and collected 19 caches, tried to get to 20 but ended the day with 2 x dnf .We had a super day and managed to get all our city chores done between caches.I walked past this cache at least 5 times before I realised it was the cache. Nice to tick off, TFTC
A maintenance run is planned for mid December. Feel free to replace the log in the meantime if anyone has the opportunity to do so.
Today we make are way True the great ocean road. Pick up some geocaches thanks for placing the cache greetz from holland
Went in one way out the other good thing it was super early, so there were no prying eyes.
This one visited during our stay in Warrnambool. Greetings from the Netherlands .
Super cool, thanks for that. The log was full and I didn't have anything to replace it with, sorry! Nice view too
Today is day 4 of visiting from Brisbane with muggle grandma, driving along a big section of The Great Ocean Road. We left Apollo Bay early so that we could catch all the good bits like the Gibson Steps at low tide. Our final destination was Warnambool with some time to explore through caching, then off to the night show at the maritime Village.Earnt the terrain rating here.
I got down into the bushes, scraping an elbow through my windcheater- which I didn’t realise til I undressed going to bed! It didn’t hurt much and I obviously forgot about it and didn’t feel the blood running down my arm. I followed the electronic finding device following a track, contorting myself under and through the vegetation, but just couldn’t find anything resembling the hint. I will return!
I know I have looked for this one before and thought I had signed the log but had not logged a found. I decided to find and sign the log while in Warrnambool today and I am definitely logging the find this time
Tftc it's was a real challenge because my son decide to roll a random rock down the hill that was under a tree. Dad did a fare bit more crawling found the cache and have put it where it was before it had a roll
Finally found it on a wet and thundery morning.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache tackle_head and Wollaston

Miscommunication with Mr P today. We actually found this Friday but couldn’t extract the log and went back this morning with pliers to get the logbook. Clever hide but Mr 7 found it pretty quick.
In Warnambool with Mrs JTreeTrack2. Found a Dirty Angel now to find this cache. Got to GZ, loked left, looked right looked up, looked down, turned around a few times, repeat. Then i saw it. Signed and returned.

Yep, the kids loved playing on the Cannons here! Tell you what tho, that playground is the best we have ever been to, it has everything! A really fun area to explore, kids I and Pacman had a fun afternoon here exploring.
Hippie03 had to search and find this cache and has been in Australia for 9 months now so she dares to go into the bushes where we do not (yet) dare. At some point, she comes towards us with the cache, because she can't get it open. Haha, turn honey and don't pull! That's how we managed to describe the log roll together. TFTC
My parents (@DeNoppies) were waiting above and screaming down at me "are you okayy?!" Because you never know what you will encounter in the Australian bushes. I was indeed okay besides me not getting the logbook out. Silly me didn't know you could twist it... Eventually it all worked out and we crossed another beautiful view off our list.

What a great view from the top of this hill.
It is lovely to have the sun shining again after a few grey days, even though there is still a light cloud cover.
We have loved exploring this area and this hide took us to another beautiful location.
Thanks tackle head and also to Wollaston

After breaking my pen while trying to open the cache I was unable to sign the log, so have photo of proof of finding if needed.
TFTC & the fall down the hill!

Touring around the town of Warrnambool today in the wet and windy weather, not stopping us from grabbing some caches. A nice lookout up here with a hell of a lot of seagulls. Didn’t take too long to spot the cache once we made it to GZ. Managed to undo lid with fingers and add name to log, left as found. Cheers for the hunt.
Find #5213 on 2 Feb 2023.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Wollaston for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

TFTC. Unfortunately I didn’t have the right tools to get the cache out. Pliers are required.
Tricky to get to, as we had to fight off hoards of rabbits that were defending the cache!
Micro-Sobell found it!

With so many favorite points, was determined to grab this. Lucky I tired the Geopuppy on level ground...might have list. Bit of bush bashing and voila, couldn't believe I found out so quickly. Thanks for bringing me here to this great view
Found at 3:45 PM in the company of Liz and Bruce, GAFF3
Gosh - we struggled with this one. Thought it was going to be where the photo was taken which highlights the view from the hill - instead we had to rummage under low spiky branches on a slope and then get down on hands and knees to turn over items here and there. We expanded our search area until the right item was spotted, which was not as described by the hint - but was replaced in accordance with the hint.
Thanks Wollaston for the adventure!

In Warrnambool and out caching with Pprass. Thanks for hiding and adding to our pleasure in exploring the area.
The views from up here are expansive.
This cache sounded attractive and was. Good clues meant a quick find. Retreated via the same path in.
Thanks for maintaining Wollaston.

well
halt the procession, unsaddle the horses, grab the pop-up pavilions:
we have arrived
the easterners are here
we are out west
we have passed through the strict narrow streets of the city under the gaze of dan and eureka tower and escaped out the other side
we have passed through country towns we knew by name but not location and have now seen them whizz by in the rearview
now that we are here, we do not know what to do
the lighthouse charges an admission fee
the tide is too high to tackle the island treasure
we need to make camp by dusk
so
we will resort to the old faithful
we will climb the nearest hill and find the treasure hiding there
